I also signed the petition. I didn't have Speedvision for the longest time (Comcast). My friend that lived 10 min. from me had it but his Comcast was a different area. I hounded them with phone calls, e-mails and comments through Speedvision's web page. Don't know if it was a coincedence, but they finally added it.

When are consumers going to wisen up? The Fords and Chevys running around those tracks are RWD V8 tube-frames, pretty much the exact opposite of the road going cars they share a name with.
At least the Subarus on the WRC resemble the ones we can buy. Closely for those with a healthy mod budget.
Mike: you'd be proud of me - we snuck onto the Kracken coaster at Sea World while the kiddies napped. It's pretty fun - the floor drops out so your feet are left dangling.

I didn't know you hadn't done it. Kracken is neat in that is goes under ground about 4 times, and each time you feel you are going to wipe out. Turns out they dug out portions of the ground so you don't. That last one takes you into a serpent's mouth. Good use of optical illusions.
How is this Subaru related? Umm, I get the same feeling when Sandy wags her tail in the snow. :-)

It was extreme excitement followed by serious comedy (albeit unintentional). TV programming doesn't get much better than that!

I should've taken a photo up at Bryce in the mountains, but I didn't have my camera.

PS: I'm back from vacation

PS - Vacation was great. I got to do a lot of "Mom" things and kept busy - but it's what I like to do best.
Some boors employed vulgarities to convey their opinion. This dilutes everyone's message. If only they'd known about this online thesaurus.
BTW Serge I signed it a few day ago after I read your post. Thanks from a fellow SpeedVision-free Comcast "customer".

Lucien's RallyCross article is in there, front page, and my article about the Covered Bridge Tour is 2nd. Check it out if you're an SCOA member (or visit www.subaruclub.com to join).
paisan has had more than his 15 minutes of fame. Once again he's pictured inside. I think either he or his cars have been pictured in every major Subaru mag.
A few of us are also pictured, so check it out folks. I'm in the photo next to Punxy Phil's memorial.

In the Letters section there is a picture of an Outback used as a police vehicle in Burlington, NJ.
Dennis
The articles are great, though. Isn't one of the drivers the guy from the VW Beetle ads (Karl S.)?
-juice
Dennis
I'm surprised Subaru didn't poke fun at VW in that issue of Drive. I guess only a few of us will figure that one out.

I received the SCOA newsletter yesterday; nice article on the bridge tour Juice.
Mark
I don't recall, did he use that photo of your Outback next to that Saab?
-juice
I wonder if they'll promote Karl from the US series, since he's been kicking butt steaks.
-juice
IMHO, Karl is nowhere in the same league as Burns is. Not from what I've seen of both drivers.

That was me with Mike And Bob; and the blue OB is mine as well. As for the photo of you and Gary between the Saab and my OB, no he did not use it.

Bob
Actually, I don't have Speedvision, so my rally viewing has been limited to a couple of taped events. Drive listed the US events, but none are even remotely close to me, so no luck catching one in person either.
Mark: I may have posted it in the Photo album, if not they are here:

Are the results. Now I just need new sway bars, and a strut tower bar and some slicks and It'll be rockin!

It was named after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything on it.

What do you think of the Amadeus? I always like the concept of a wagon/hatch sports car. Apparently so does BMW, with their new Z3 coupe. It certainly fits with Subaru's "sports/utility" theme.

I bet this one will be easy for the Crew here...
And did you know a guy named Dennis Mc-something worked on the whole "Beauty.. and Dundee campaigns that saved Subaru from the verge of extinction?

Shoud I tell you how I really feel? ;-)
Those SVX wipers that varied with vehicle speed were brilliant. I remember going "wow" when I read about them at the time.
Hydraulic hinges are a nice feature, too. In fact, I've considered making a custom one for my Forester. They sell aftermarket ones for Miatas.

I like the idea of sports car wagons. I liked the old Volvo P1800 hatchback and the MGB coupe (sometimes referred to as "shooting brakes" by folks in the UK), all of which follow that format.
BTW, I do agree, the BMW coupe—while certainly distinctive—also assaults my sense of design sensibilities.
Now if we could only agree on the RSX...
Bob
I drive by an MGB coupe every day to work, and every day I say to myself, "that thing would look great as a roadster".
The RSX looks like someone got a Civic Coupe and overinflated it a bit too much. But Steve's description in Future Models is better than mine.
-juice
I agree, the BMW coupe is ugly.
