    The residual will likely be adjusted down to account for the existing miles, but you'll want a bigger discount from sticker to offset that.

    There will likely be a reduction to the residual value to account for the existing miles. You want to negotiate a lower selling price to offset that.

    I have a general question. At a quick look, there are several different MF’s listed in Feb. I know the residual is affected by model choice, term, miles, etc., but do the base rates vary too? This is just a quick snapshot of moderator answers to questions about MF in Feb., over a 6 day span. Dates posted and rate quoted are:
    2/3 Standard MF for Feb .00155
    2/6 .00076
    2/9 .00117
    Not trying to be difficult-the help I’ve gotten here is tremendous-but I just would love to get clarification.
