It's possible you only qualify for Tier 1, rather than Tier A1. Tier 1 MF is .00300

If the .00315 MF is after the MSDs, then the MF was marked up to .00385 initially. Dealer is allowed to do that.

Shop around - I'm sure there are plenty of MB dealers in the Bay Area.

I''m in NJ as well... Couple of suggestions. You can join MB Club of America which will qualify you for a $500.00 incentive towards a 2023 C300. Also, when I bought mine in 2019 the MB dealer in PA was significantly less than all the ones in NJ...You may want to expand your dealer search.

You can structure the lease any way you'd like, but if you put money down, you are at risk of losing it if the car is stolen or totaled before the lease is up.
