    The Kia website says $5,000 in lease cash and $2,500 in residual value support for current incentives. The deal per Kia website is $249 mo, $4,499 down 36 mo/10k.

    I'm in NJ. The tax credits ran out a while ago for 2023. The tax credit will be $5,000 in 2024. I'm thinking of leasing in Nov or later when my son gets his license.

    Does anyone think it's best to wait until Jan for the $5k NJ credit. I'm thinking the price of EVs will be higher as gas prices will be going up the next year due to production cuts.

    I would get the $5k but then who knows if Kia will still have the $7,500 incentive when demand is up. Also, who knows if they will have cars when demand is through the roof.

    Get the car when you need it. Trying to time the market rarely works out. And, nobody can predict the future with regards to incentives, either from the bank or the government.
