    2014: .00010 MF and 55% residual. $1000 lease cash. The $1000 is a dealer incentive... use that knowledge to negotiate a lower selling price. We don't have any 2015 Santa Fe numbers.

    Hi all, I used this forum last time for my last two cars and got a great deal on other vehicles. 

    I am running the numbers and something is not coming up right. 

    2014AWD Limited

    MSRP 40060

    Selling price 37555

    -17000 for end of lease (equity) trade in on sonata

    +15865 for pay off on the lease

    -1250 incentives 

    Nothing down, just first payment due.

    They are using .00055 and 56% on 36 month 12k. I'm in North Carolina. Are these even right?

    They are coming up with $449, I am coming with 408. 

    What am I missing? Thanks!

    We ended up at $419. Nothing else due at signing just $419. Did we do good?

    $419/mo for a $40K car is a pretty decent deal. Enjoy!

    Just because we don't have any information on the 2015 Santa Fe doesn't mean the dealers don't.

    But, I can't explain why two different dealers won't give you a lease quote.

    How does $322 a month lease (with taxes) + 1,000 down sound? No additional "wear and tear" or maintenance included. MF is 0.0005 residual about 55%. This is for a 2014 Santa Fe Sport AWD Turbo (no other packages).

    Not enough information .. what were the MSRP and selling prices?

    Base MF for 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T is .00020 for 36/12 with 54% residual. $1500 lease cash.

    Thanks for the information. With the pricing information you've provided, along with the RV and MF I quoted, I get a pre-tax payment of $283.08/mo. If your tax rate in CA is 9%, then the payment jumps to $308.55/mo.

    Residual cannot be modified - it's set by the bank.

    As you found out, the MF can be inflated by the dealer. Your goal is to get them to write the deal using the base MF.

    Note that in IL, through the end of the year, sales tax is applied to the entire selling price of a leased vehicle. After 1/1/15, only the monthly payment will be subject to sales tax. Will make leases much less expensive.

    Yes, these are the December numbers. Don't know what direction they moved from last month.

    Hi. Thanks to all for the informative posts. I'm looking to purchase the Santa Fe Sport (5-seater) AWD turbo with ultimate package in NJ. So far, best I could negotiate was $37k OTD, with all fees etc. and another 1000 off for a trade-in of an old Honda Civic. I was hoping to get it for another $1k less, i.e. $36k OTD before trade-in. What do you guys think?
