I like the montly payment, but do you think 5,200 is too much?
Anyone know a good Infinity Dealer in the tri-state?
Whenever I speak with dealers in Brooklyn, I feel as if they're pulling my pants down.
Thanks for the help!
I plugged in your numbers and get $527/mo., so your pretty much there. You are smart to not put any more down than you are planning.
The invoice price for this car is $36584. I am hoping to get $1000 over invoice. You are not far from that ($1317 over), not sure how much negotiation you have had so far. Can't hurt to work a little, at worst you still have decent deal. Also might be able to get the doc fee down to a more reasonable $50-75. The license fee hurts!
Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
Good luck with your transaction.

Mileage: 12k
State tax: 7.00%
NJ tire fee: 7.50
Due at signing: 1,576 (1 mo pmt + bank fee + license/reg + doc fee + "tire fee")
This dealer has disclosed all fees up front and I don't think they're taking me for a ride. However, when I negotiated the cap cost, they said they would take 1% over invoice. My calculated cap cost wasn't checking out with theirs (off by about $100), and when I asked, they mentioned this "warranty supplemental" in the state of NJ, whereby Infiniti pays retail for replacement parts and passes through a $100 charge per vehicle. He went on to say that this is part of the invoice that wouldn't be shown on Edmunds. Sounds totally bogus to me, but I'm not too concerned about $100 over the life of the lease, especially if I'm paying 400 or so over invoice. I have a feeling this may be buried in a lot of cap costs and people just aren't aware, particularly if they're getting a decent cap cost? Curious to hear your thoughts on this and the deal in general.
Thanks in advance!
looking for that same car only in a different color. would
like to know where you got that deal.
You seem to be the lease expert. Would you mind taking a look at these figures?
Thanks!

Do you mind telling, which dealer this is? If you like, you can email me - mehra16@yahoo.com...thanks and good luck!
Actually looking at it again - he's not giving it to you for $400 over invoice, since you're putting $595 down, so you're actually getting it for $995 over invoice - you might want to negotiate to have $400 over invoice without you having to put down $595. So your payment should be lower than $505 if you're gettin it for $400 over invoice, it should be closer to $499/mnth...now it's up to you if you $5 a month is a big diff. for you.
good luck!
Is a there an advantage to a 24 month lease vs. a 36 month lease?

These are the fees I was just given:
$1995 down
$700 destination fee
$795 aquisition fee
$150 Estimated motor vehicle fee
+ Taxes
Taxes are a bit of a question right now.
The car is in Manhattan and I live about 300 miles away so I'm not sure what my local taxes will be. That's gonna be the big one.
Thanks in advance!
Some ask for $500-, others ask for $1,000.
It's refundable if anything goes wrong.
Honestly, I think that if you changed your mind, they'd most likely give your deposit back... unless you're ordering something they feel doesn't usually sell in your region.
I wouldn't worry about it, I haven't heard of anyone not getting a deposit back.
Erin, don't change your mind.
It's an awesome car!
If you decide down the road that you can't afford it, sell a kidney or something, it's worth it!

The lease term is for 24 months. I don't know if it's better to go with 24 or 36.
I was going to only put down $1,000 as downpayment and accept a little higher monthly payment.
Yes, it's for 36 months. I also have a very similar quote for the same dealer but with the Tech package. It's $6 more a month. That rear camera might be worth $216 over 3 years.
IYO... do you think I’d be able to get it for $500 including tax. That's what I was hoping for. Or do you think this is as low as they can go?
Thanks!
it's for 12000 miles
do you have to pay the 1,576 plus the 7% state tax at signing?
HOWEVER...you do have the option of putting down addl. security deposits which will reduce the money factor. And...the security deposits are fully refundable at the end of the lease, so if you have the means it could help you out. If you look around the board you will see many posts explaining addl. sec deposits.
You read my mind. I was thinking of adding security deposits. I'll have to look into it.

Selling price was 34,550. G35 coupe auto, premium, sunroof.
Then another dealer offered 550/month including tax with just first month's payment due at signing...550 to sign and drive.
Selling price is 32,995. Same setup.
Does this seem right? Which deal is better? And how can the second dealer only ask for first month's payment...what about acquisition fee, etc.?
Are the fees rolled into the monthly payments? Thanks for your help, guys.
Based on the little information you've provided, I don't see why the lower payment with zero down wouldn't be the deal to take. In terms of a lease, if miles and equipment are what you want, the lower total out-of-pocket expenses during the entire lease is definitely the way to go (unless you plan on buying it at the end of the lease, then residual should be important to you, too).

The 1,500 incentive doesn't apply for leases.
The other dealership (Lynnes) said they'll match and make it like 480/month.
But I think I can get Flemington to drop to about 475/month.
24 months, 12k miles. Auto, premium package, sunroof. Residual 71%, 0.00206 MF.
Selling price about 200 above invoice so I guess it's ok.
