Re: Postwar Studebakers
I’m in lust. Black is unusual on an Avanti and this car is original everything at 16,258 miles. In Vermont for $84k. Very rich but I can’t recall when I’ve seen such a low-mileage original Avanti, especially in black. Sold new at McCarthy Hardware Co. (lol) in Mankato, Kansas. .

Re: Edmunds Members - Cars and Conversations
Personally, I like my EV. It's cheap to operate, reliable as an anvil, fast, comfortable, etc...all those things I like my cars to be.
With incentives going away, I don't know how I will proceed once my lease is up (also cheap). If the price of another EV goes up dramatically, I'd go back to ICE. I don't want to, however. I like my EV too much to do that.
All that said, I charge it in my garage 90% of the time. And, the times I have to use a public charger it doesn't really bother me that it takes 20 or so minutes to charge up. That's on a long trip. And, charging coincides with me taking a break anyway.
I believe charging infrastructure and charging times are going to improve exponentially going forward. And, prices will come down as more and more lower cost EVs are now scheduled to hit the market. They are unquestionably less hassle to maintain and to own than ICE vehicles.

And Chuck Mangione, as well. I had a cousin who played horns in HS and introduced me to his music.
