Bike course was challenging. You had to use their bikes. Which were the cafe type, so super uncomfortable for a 6’5” old man. My only problem was low-speed turning, which they were big on for some reason. So I lost 5pts for not making a U turn inside a small box. They also didn’t fully explain some things until it was too late. Like the emergency braking. They said it was timed. You had to accelerate to a cone, then the timer starts, and you brake at the next cone. Timer stops when you stop. So I figure I’m going like a bat outta hell. I had the fastest time of the class, BUT, I exceeded the stopping DISTANCE by 2 feet. Well, YEAH, I was going too fast! They didn’t mention that distance measurement beforehand. In the end, I lost I believe 7 pts, and you were allowed 15. My kid lost I think 5. He clipped a cone on the slalom and went 3 feet too long on stopping.

Paid off the Maverick today, so I’m car payment free, for now. Going from two car payments to zero really reduces my monthly outlay.
