Our neighbor who has to be the healthiest woman in the world, very thin, walks the dog for miles every day, swims and goes to the gym, eats only healthy foods....was rushed to the hospital on Friday for several kidney stones. Anything can happen at any time. @Michaell hope it gets resolved quickly and easily.

Well the first thing that comes to mind is that you said she is " very" thin, being to think is as unhealthy as being to fat.

Thin....I just mean the way a person should be, not fat. But I checked on what causes kidney stones. Kidney stones form when waste products in urine—such as calcium, oxalate, and uric acid—become highly concentrated and crystalize. The primary cause is insufficient water intake (dehydration), allowing these minerals to stick together. Key contributors include high-salt/high-protein diets, obesity, and family history.

So, boys and girls, be sure to drink a fair bit of water, and obesity is a cause of kidney stones.
