An update about the Jaguar F-Pace. The car looks pretty good, looks like the front bumper has been replaced but other than that I did not see any frame damage or painting underneath the hood.
The owner agreed to $31500, I am buying it tomorrow.

As a result of the bad engine in Son #1’s 2016 Kia van with 110K miles (just out of warranty) he has decided to buy a 2010 Infinity EX 35 with the 3.6 V6 engine.
The car is at a Jeep dealer in Niagara Falls and they want $14,750 for it. He’s having it inspected by a company that does this and he’s waiting for their report as I write this.
I hope it ain’t a 3.6 or something has gone horribly wrong. ;b
A minivan to an EX is going to be a HUGE adjustment.
I love the EX, personally. A bulletproof little rocket. 2013 is a big upgrade. A little more rear legroom, better interior, bigger engine, and 2 more gears. Just putting that out there.
Price is a little rich, but where else would you find one with those miles?
The 2011 you saw is just absurdly priced.

I could have swore he said it had the 3.6 engine. I know Nissan has a 3.5 and I think his 2013 G37 has a 3.7. It’s too late to talk to him now but I will tomorrow. Hopefully by then he’ll know if it passed the PPI.
I take it the price ain’t so bad given what used cars go for today. I guess the low miles and the care that was given to the car since new hikes the price a bit.
Thanks for your reply.

it is a 3.5l. 3.6 was probably a typo! they did later on switch to a 3.7l version of that motor.
and yeah, with crazy prices these days, might as well at least get a super clean, well maintained, low miles unit. Can at least keep it a long time and amortize the cost better. If he doesn't blow this one up.

He’s hoping to pass this car onto his youngest son who will get his license in February of 2023. He’s also hoping car prices return to normal by then and he can get a Telluride size thing then. And even more hoping, since this car should still have relatively low miles on it, this car will get his son through school.
That’s a whole lot of hoping and I hope he’s right.

I am considering a 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML350 w/ rearview camera, navigation - 49k miles - white/tan color - 1 owner - 1 minor side door accident - Florida. The seller wants $20,000. Is it a good or just decent price?

I appreciate it. How about a 2014 Maserati GhibliS Q4 AWD 3.0 V6 - 3 owners - No accidents - Fully loaded - 66k miles. For $24,000?
3 owners should make you wonder.
Normally, great price. Changing hands that much does affect it, though. You apparently have a knack for finding those with just enough wrong to bring down the price to under what a clean one would go for at auction. With a 10-15% knock on value for being passed around like a flask on prom night, I'd say $24k is fair.

Premium brand vehicles such as Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, Alfa Romeo are not that inflated compared to common other brands. I like more exotic vehicles and I am not looking to own it for more than a year or two so looking for best deal. These cars do not sell as quick as others and people selling them usually have higher money reserves so there's a higher chance of scoring a deal without overpaying.

There's some members in CCBA that should only count as anywhere from .1 to .9 owners instead of 1 owner if it passes through them. It's time for the Car Fax's of the world to develop an algorithm for that. A car that's 4 years old with 4 prior @breld type owners with that track record is far different than someone that keeps their cars 10 years under normal conditions.

I figure someone will want it. Thanks in advance
