Is it true that DVD navigation system comes with back-up camera ? This means I have to get XLE because I can't get navigation on LE.
    Thanks

I think it is good deal.
The best bid what i got so far is $25,148 + Dealer fee’s and Taxes - $1,500 Customer cash rebate for sienna LE 8 PSSNGR, with Package #2 (not 3) & floor mats. I think your price is better than mine. If you don't mind, can you give me the dealer quota that your got? (dawnsky1226@yahoo.com)
  • iftequariftequar Member Posts: 12
My price $24,518 is after the rebate of $1500.00, where as the price you got appears to be better than mine, 23,648 after the rebate, but I do not know, how much is the dealer cost will be added, let me if you mistook my price before the rebate, then I will let you know the dealer, if your price is better I would appreciate if you let me know dealer who quote this price at siftequar@yahoo.com, thank you.

XLE with package 6 includes Navigation, rear camera, DVD for RES, VSC, Leather, Moonroof etc.

The 33123 included everything except $20 for tags and $129 for all weather mats.

This was a hard combo for me to find. (ie not available in my homestate of NJ and not at many MD/DE dealerships)

I think your analysis is on target. I haven't seen that many people respond here that have mentioned getting such a great price. I know I didn't. The best price I've seen in my state is $21,9 and that was from several months ago. I've just been amazed at the disparity in prices. I guess it's because I just never really paid attention before! ;)

I am shopping for a 07 Sienna LE AWD. What kind of deals did you guys get for that? Thanks.
  • nelpot1nelpot1 Member Posts: 9
I'm planning on purchasing either a Sienna LE pkg 3 or Honda Odyssey EX. I like them equally and have decided that the best pricing deal would be the deciding factor. Anyone know what the August incentives would be for the sienna? $1500 off is current a good deal but I beleive since the 2008 may be coming soon, a better deal could be had in august?

    Thanks
  • tjohntjohn Member Posts: 14
I test drove both vans. The Honda isn't a consideration anymore. The Sienna is far superior and too many ways to list. As my wife puts it, "There's not a little difference, there's a significant difference." I'm looking to score a deal in Aug or Sept myself, and would bet that invoice minus the customer incentive is the deal to beat. The $1500 ends tomorrow, but the salesman told me it is going to be extended, but didn't know if it would be increased. He urged me to come back on Tuesday for the best possible deal - obviously. Unfortunately, I have to wait until end of September...which may be too late for the 07 that I want.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
The risk in waiting is that supplies will dwindle. I would not wait too much longer, already people cannot find the packages they want on 2007s.

I was in the same situation, and I had a preference on ody. After testing both vans within 1 hour (that kept the impression on both fresh), I think sienna meet our needs better.

    Hello everyone,
I have heard that you can get factory leather on the sienna LE, can someone confirm it?

As for adding wood trim on LE, what is a reasonable aftermarket price for the job? is it worthwhile to have dealer take care of it?

    thanks,
    CHeng

VSC and rear disc brakes will be standard on all 2008 models.

    So will Bluetooth, interestingly enough.

Also expect some special edition package (as of yet not announced).

I went to a dealer in the St.Louis area to negotiate on a loaded '07 XLE limited FWD (only 1 left on the lot). I started the negotiation at the invoice price. The response from the sales manager was basically NO. He offered $3400 off the sticker and wouldn't budge a cent (basically invoice price for the base car plus full MSRP on all the option packages). His view is that there are many bargain hunters on these '07 Limited's; he only needs to sell this one; and he is certain he can get a better price. Now, I will wait for the '08s. When th.ere are multiple dealers with the same configuration, I think the situation would improve with some competition.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
    I think that's a fair assessment.

It's all about supply and demand.

There is no supply. Just 1 left. It has a $1500 rebate and the 2008s will have none.

Oddly enough the supply/demand curve is heavily in the dealer's favor.

I doubt it'll get better when the 2008s arrive because that single 2007 will still have the $1500 price advantage.

I just paid $ 500 non refundable deposit for 8 seater LE package #3, $ 24,420 plus tax title, ($ 26.2K OTD) for the color of my choice in Norther Eastern Illinois/ chicago land. Some dealer can secure this price until the close of the last day of rebate expire.
  • mlabqmlabq Member Posts: 24
I just read that, too. Even better is that the base price only went up $35 for the CE. They're basically throwing in package 2 for free in the 2008. That should help us out in negotiating deals on the leftover 2007s. I also think it means that we should see a good rebate tomorrow. According to Toyota's own numbers, they're throwing in $1000 of value in 2008 models. I would rather not have VSC, so I am glad I plan to buy an 07 model.

Purchased on 07/31 a Sienna XLE FWD with option package#8 (Navi,DVD) and CF (car mats) for 33183 plus TTL. The purchase was made at Beaman Toyota in Nashville

Tried to purchase a Sienna XLE FWD with option package #8 on 07/28 at Rivergate Toyota in Madison, TN through the COSTCO auto buying program, which is a no-haggle price of $200 over invoice. Things pretty much went down hill after the test drive. First they could not locate an XLE with that package, but were able to get their hands on a fully optioned XLE Limited. I figured I was game expecting the price to truly be $200 over invoice. The salesman and his manager came back with a price that was roughly $2000 over invoice. The $2000 included a $700 (TDA) Toyota Dealer association fee for advertising, an $800 Toyota finance charge (the finance charges that the dealership pays Toyota), a fee to cover the salesman's salary, and other fees including the notorious doc fee, if things had continued I might have paid the salesman’s mortgage as well. This brought the grand total up to $37,521. On Tuesday 07/31 I drove 20 minutes south to Beaman Toyota in Nashville, TN and purchased and XLE w package 8 for 33,183 plus TTL

Interestintly, the 2008 base models gain content (VSC and rear discs), and the models with the JBL sound system gain content (Bluetooth).

Ironically, my LE package 3 gains nothing at all. It already had VSC, and I have the non-JBL stereo so the equivalent 2008 isn't any differnet.

I feel better. I missed out on nothing, plus the price is a little higher and I would have sacrificed the $1250 rebate I got at the time.

    Charting the changes:

Base CE, CE pkg 1 gain VSC
Base LE, LE1, LE2 gain VSC
LE5 and others with JBL gain Bluetooth

    LE3 - no change!
  • ccc88ccc88 Member Posts: 39
This is the information I got:

Sienna offers new product enhancements and Extra Value Packages. New standard features include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control and rear disc brakes on all models. Also, Bluetooth® is now on all models featuring standard or available JBL audio. The Sienna MSRP ranges from $24,340 for the 2WD CE to $37,665 for the AWD Limited model. The total Sienna average MSRP increases $35 or 0.1 percent.

It seems to me that all models in 2008 will have bluetooth, not just JBL. It is a nice feature for CA since we no longer can use cellphone without handfree device when driving in 2008.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
Toyota used very, very poor language in the press release.

I think what they meant was models that have the JBL audio standard, as well as models that have the JBL audio included in an option package.

They managed to make a simple press release very confusing.

    Oh, gotcha.

I clipped a headline that read "Teixeira pitches no hitter" and had that up in my office for a while.

A lot of people got a real kick out of that.

    He's my cousin.

Just kidding. It's not an uncommon name in Portugal and Brazil. You see a lot of tree names. Teixeira, Ferreira, Pereira, but not Bananeira (that would be a Banana tree in Portuguese).

Anyone buy from Longo Toyota in SoCal? They are the No.1 Toyota dealer nationwide.
I am in NoCal, but I heard that people can buy from Longo Toyota and pay 300 for them to ship the car to NorCal. Any information on the Longo Toyota will be appreciated.

I live in Ohio and have been looking for the Ex-L with package 4. Was told by most dealers it was not available. I was working with a dealer to find me the car BEFORE the 2k rebate expired. I had been to the dealership took a test drive and wanted them to locate the car. Seems that yesterday they were TOO busy to call me and let me know what they found.

I may have to go up to the Ex-L package five to get the moonroof. Has anyone heard of any incentives from Toyota now? How about a dealer who will actually help find me a car. I would drive up to an hour from Cleveland.

    HELP...............

    Where is this rebate valid?
  • mlabqmlabq Member Posts: 24
I found $1500 in California and New Mexico.
    $2000 in Michigan.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
I think MD may only be getting $1500 as well.

The fitzmall.com prices are only $247 less than I paid when the rebate was $1250.

$25,000 even for an LE 8 seater package 3.
  • ckrupkackrupka Member Posts: 2
In MD, the $ difference between the LE pkg 3 and XLE pkg 3 is about 4k. Without having seen the vans yet, I haven't convinced myself that the extras of the XLE are worth that much $. Heated seats I can get aftermarket for about $700, center console, fog lights, power rear opener, tri-climate control seem to be the differences in the ones I am considering.

Do you XLE owners feel the extra options are worth the $? Do you LE owners feel happy with the options you get and the lower cost?

    Hi ,
I just got a prety good deal from Tricounty Toyota, the internet sales manager was very nice and easy to make a business with him.
    I just purchased a Sienna XLE FW/pg 5 for 33200 included everthing(tag, title, tax).

    Thanks,
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
I have the LE3, and I'm sure there's a bit more to an XLE, let's see...

Leather-wrapped steering wheel (I got wheelskins for $27 but it takes a couple of hours).

    Power passsenger's seat.

    Power liftgate.

JBL sound, with Bluetooth for 2008, plus rear radio controls.

Automatic headlights also. Mine do not turn off 30 seconds after you lock the door (or however long that is).

    ***

The main thing I'd want from that list is the power tailgate, that would be pretty cool. I love the power doors.

So you decide if all those plus the heated seats, console, fogs, ACC are worth it.

I think I'd like the console and the heated seats, too.

Is the console sold seperately? I might get that....
  • ckrupkackrupka Member Posts: 2
Ended up getting the last XLE pkg 3 from fitzmall in MD for 28,900 and about 31k OTD. Wife wanted all the extras of the XLE, and this saves me from installing or paying for the heated seats.

Felt like a good deal, very quick transaction, and got great value on our trade-in. Recommend the dealer and salesperson, ask for Orlando. Rebate in MD for August seems to be $1250. Good luck out there.

Today I checked out Sterling McCall Toyota for a Sienna CE#1, found the car I wanted, told the dealer I would pay INVOICE+TTL, dealer said no problem, he took out a piece of paper and wrote (INVOICE + 3% ) + TTL

I asked him what is that 3% for, he said dealer charge, I said no way. He said ok he would scrap that. He then went to get the invoice, he returned with the following:
    INVOICE + 2% ($486) + Advertising fees ($700) + 1% finance charge ($250)

He said that's the lowest he can go, every Toyota dealers in Texas charged the same add-on fees.

But I decided to walk out.

So anyone, please tell me if I was acting stupid...!!!!

    Best regards

2007 XLE, Artic Frost. No DVD. They want $2100 for dual headreast dvd. $300 below invoice. That does not include $1500 rebate. Selling price is $27427. The dealer is in Orlando, Florida.
  • siennamisiennami Member Posts: 116
What was the invoice price? The prices on the Sienna seem to be varied, and if I were you, I'd definitely check his story on the "every Toyota dealer in Texas charge the same add-on fees" line he was giving you. Were you planning on financing the vehicle through Toyota, is that why the 1% finance charge was added on?
If that's not the price you wanted to pay, then you had every right to walk out. Before I ended up with mine, I picked up the keys to my old car at least twice. I am not good with haggling at all, so I'm sure I probably could have done better..... :shades:
Keep searching, especially if this doesn't sound right to you. Another dealer may have a totally different story!

Best wishes! I'm enjoying my CE :shades:

$1500 rebates here in South Carolina....
  • mlabqmlabq Member Posts: 24
I don't think you were dumb. Invoice on a Sienna CE #1 is $23028. His fees amounted to an extra $1486. Your total would be $24464 - $1500 rebate + TTL = 22964 + TTL. Here in ABQ, the lowest price I could get was $22567 + TTL.

Here is what I did. I went to California, bought a Sienna CE #1 there and drove it back to Albuquerque. I bought a loss leader Sienna CE #1 for $19988 + $122 in fees + Tax on Friday. My total was $2200 less (including travel expenses) than it would have been if I bought it locally.
  • sienna2007sienna2007 Member Posts: 1
Could anyone tell me a good quote on a 2007 Sienna XLE FWD w/Package #4 in the Atlanta GA area? I was quoted $33,000 ( out the door) after the rebate of $1500 was applied. Our tax rate here is 7%. This price did not include Toyoguard, but did include carpet mats and package #4. Thanks. I am probably purchasing this week.
  • mlabqmlabq Member Posts: 24
Here is how I orchestrated my purchase. I had some help. My parents live in Southern California. My mom has been getting papers every weekend to see what deals are available on Siennas. This Friday, she got a paper and saw the deal. I got a call at 7:30am. I booked a plane ticket to Ontario and arrived at 2pm the same day. My father picked me and we went to the dealer. I looked the car over and took it for a little drive and bought it. I slept at my folks house and drove home the next day.

You could do something similar if you have relatives in California. If not, fly in on a Thursday night. On Friday morning, pick up a paper to see where the deals are and show up when the place opens.

You'll probably pay $500 for two one way tickets, but you can save a ton of cash. Do the math before you go regarding how much you'll spend getting there and back. I had a Southwest award ticket, so the whole trip only cost me $120.
  • nelpot1nelpot1 Member Posts: 9
I'm currently negotiating via emails with dealers regarding the purchase of a Sienna LE with package 3. We've pretty much agreed on a price of the car. Should I negotiate the trade-in via emails also or is that impossible to get an assessement without the dealer seeing the car? I'm trying to get the best deal for my car w/o having to travel to each dealer.

Also, the Sienna I'm interested in has been in the lot a couple months. Is that red flag?

    Thanks
