Does anyone know when 0% Financing comes out on the Siennas?

I know the local specials are month to month. I live in the Mid-Altlantic Region and I have been waiting since June 2007 (the last time they had 0%). No luck yet.

Do they traditionally always have 0% in January and June only? (The only two months they had it in 2007) or is it based on the number of Siennas left?

Also if they do have 0% in January would it be on the 2007's or the 2008's? Thanks.

    I think so.

You paid about the same thing I paid for my very similar 2007 model early this year. The only thing I got extra was the Tow Prep Package, which was standard back then.

Your 2008 will have better resale because it's one model year newer.
  • 100jewel100jewel Member Posts: 4
The Toyota factory rebate is $1000. Not sure why you got only $750.

I am in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been quoted $24,300 (25,300 - 1,000 rebate) plus tax, license for a '08 LE with the following options -

    FE - 50 State Emissions
    AL - 16" Alloy Wheel w/P215/65R16 Tires
QF - LE EVP Package #2: Power Driver & Passenger Sliding Door, Rear Door Electronic Locking System, Trip Computer
w/Homelink and 8-Way Power Driver Seat
RL - Daytime Running Lights & Windshield Wiper De-icer Grid

CF - Carpet Floor Mats/Door Sill Protector
    WL - Wheel Locks (Alloy)

What's best anyone got on XLE, EVP #2 and maybe and maybe TO, LF?

    Thanks,
  • hchunhchun Member Posts: 6
I know we probably use this vehicle for next 5-7years if we buy. It doesn't seem that 2008 model is much different from 2007.
I need advice which offer is better for me. and do you think these are good offers?

offer 1. 2007 Sienna XLE AWD with pkg#7. 890 test drive mile.$30695 after rebate plus tax, lic, doc fees.
I asked whether this is eligible for 0% financing , but they didn't reply yet.

offer 2. 2008 Sienna XLE AWD with pkg#3. $31600 after cash rebate or $32600 with 2.9% financing plus tax, lic, doc fees.

If I just go for XLE AWD without options, what would be the good prices for 2008 model?
    Thank you.

We just purchased a 2008 Sienna LE 7-passenger FWD in the Indianapolis area. Options are EVP #1 and Carpet Floor Mats. We traded in a ’97 Acura CL for a little under Fair KBB value. We actually suggested that price, as the car had quite a few blemishes and some mechanical issues.

    Price: $24,589
    Sales Tax: $1,295.34
    Tire Fee: $1.25
    Doc Fees/Title Fee: $0

We opted for 3.9% instead of the $750.00 rebate. We used Ed Martin Toyota in Anderson, IN and they were great. If you are in the Hamilton County area, we highly recommend them! The closest dealer (who we purchased our ’04 Solara from) was $350 higher and offered $500 less on our trade. The buying process took 45 minutes and half of that time was spent going over the vehicle. The 30-minute drive home yielded 28 mpg! And only 9 miles on the van. We are taking a 650 mile trip to NY for Christmas next week and will post mpg numbers when we have them.
    :)

I live in the Bay Area as well and I've been getting quotes for a Sienna with the same options from all the dealers in the area. I must say, you're quote is almost 1K more than the best quote I've receive so far. Try citytoyota in Daly City.
  • bowang88bowang88 Member Posts: 11
Hi! is 31,490 already take the rebate $1000 into consideration?
I am looking to buy a 08 sienna with pack #4 too. Thanks. -Michelle
  • rmossrmoss Member Posts: 23
Yes, this is after the rebate. The invoice price with #4 is 32,790. So its actually 300 below invoice. Shop around, you might be able to knock off another 300 or so in my opinion. Please post if you find a better deal anywhere else.

I am looking to buy in the last week of December after selling one of our current cars.

I'm purchasing in Houston and this is what I'm being offered for a 2008 Sienna LE, FWD, 7 Passenger. Per the brochure: "Upgrade Package"( Comes with the DVD, alloy wheels, etc.) and "Extra Value Package #2" (Dual Power sliding doors, etc).

    $26,672-price of the vehicle.

    $1,667- Texas State Tax.

    $275- Title and license

    $750-Toyota Rebate.

    $27,864- Total selling price.

Is this a good offer? Offer seems to be $600 below invoice. Thanks in advance for all responses.

I've been shopping around for a 2008 Sienna LE. Here's the best quotes I've received so far.

2008 Sienna LE 8 passenger with the following options: package#1, FE, RL, and CF--24,188 (w/o the reb ate)

2008 Sienna LE 7 passenger with the following options: package#2, AL, FE, RL, and CF-- 24,388 (w/o the rebate)

The second one is a better deal but I have 2 children (2 year old and a 4 year old) and a third one on the way so am I better off getting an 8 passenger so that I can put all 3 of them in the second row? I live in the Bay Area and it seems like there's not many 8 passengers LE with the package#2 option so the deals are not as good as the 7 passenger. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
    890 test drive miles?

People hop in and floor it to see what the engine will do. I seriously doubt the break-in procedure was followed.

I'd go for the other one even if it does cost more. You'll make it up in resale plus it doesn't have those harsh miles.
  • bowang88bowang88 Member Posts: 11
    Thanks.
I will let you know when I get anything better. So far all of my quotes are much higher than yours in San Diego. I am also looking to get one before the end of the year when there are usually better deals hopefully. Thanks. -Michelle
  • bowang88bowang88 Member Posts: 11
Could you let me know the dealer name and contact you get this quote from? Was this via internet or inperson?
The best so far I get is 32800 in san Diego area... Thanks. -Michelle

Just wanted to share the price point on a 08 Sienna LE that I bought over the weekend in the SF Bay Area utilizing the $1000 factory rebate -

Sienna LE 2008 (7 passenger) with QF, RL, AL, CF and E5. Slate Metallic exterior and Stone fabric interior.
Total out the door price 25,500 (including tax, DMV, doc, dest, whatsoever).
  • sirarniesirarnie Member Posts: 11
That's a pretty good deal. I'm looking for a Sienna too and I live in the Bay Area. Can you tell me what dealership you bought it from? Thanks in advance.
  • sastryjgsastryjg Member Posts: 4
I got an offer for XLE with package #4 including fog lamps, auto dimming mirror rear spoiler for $33, 240. Dear friends do you think it is a good deal?

We are looking to buy the following vehicle in Massachusetts and wanted to know what prices others have been able to get on this vehicle. If you could break out the price separate from the current $1,000 cash rebate or advise if the bottom line you paid included this cash rebate, that would be helpful. FYI, regarding geography, we live in between Boston and Worcester. Thank you!

2008 Toyota Sienna LE, FWD—Prices in Massachusetts

    FE - 50 State Emissions
QF - LE EVP Package #2: Power Driver & Passenger Sliding Door, Rear Door Electronic Locking System, Trip Computer
w/Homelink and 8-Way Power Driver Seat
RL - Daytime Running Lights & Windshield Wiper De-icer Grid
CF - Carpet Floor Mats/Door Sill Protector

Hi, I live in the DFW area in North Texas and I'm interested in buying a 2008 Sienna XLE Limited w/ the option pkg #2 (includes DVD & NAV) = QL. Other options include HZ (hid lights w/ dynamic laser cruise control), PC (special color - arctic frost pearl), RM (daytime running lights), TH (power folding 60/40 split & stow 3rd row), TO (tow prep pkg) , RS (rear spoiler), WT (window tint), MJ (rear mud guards), CF (carpet mat set w/ door sill protectors), RB (running boards), WL (wheel locks), P4 (vehicle shield pkg)... dealer is offering $41,000 (tax, title and license included)... I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not? Also, i'm also debating on the running boards & rear spoiler - do u think it's necessary? I really just wanted the options of QL, HZ, PC, TH, and RM but this is what the dealer has. What do you think of the options vs price? How much is tax, title and license usually? if anyone knows or has an idea of what price i should be looking at, please let me know. just trying to get all my research done before i go to the dealership. thanks a bunch:)
  • dann80dann80 Member Posts: 18
I'm also in the SF bay area, and am shopping for a 2008 LE 8 passenger with the same options you listed (QE, RL, CF). I calculate the invoice price with these options to be $24,471 (which includes $685 destination charge). So it's really possible to buy below invoice now? I know there's a $1000 Toyota rebate for this area too.

Can you mention which dealer you got the $24,188 quote from? Was it hard to negotiate for this price or do you think there's room to go even lower?

By the way, in Northern California, I think you can get a 2008 LE 8 with the QF option (package #2) only if you include the UL upgrade package. This package adds several thousand dollars to the price.
  • rmossrmoss Member Posts: 23
This is in the bayarea, through email. The dealer is Toyota of Walnut Creek.
  • rmossrmoss Member Posts: 23
Thats way too high. Fog lamps are included when you buy #4, thats how it comes from the factory. Invoice is 32,790 for #4. You can subtract 1000 rebate from Toyota for an invoice of 31,790. In the bay area, dealers are willing to go a few hundred dollars below invoice.

Auto dimming mirror and spoiler shouldn't be that expensive.
  • bellmonsterbellmonster Member Posts: 12
    Hi,
I am new here and I am looking for either an '07 or '08 Limited. I started my research over late summer but the different package numbers were so confusing that I really considered the Odyssey. I will have to start over again b/c it's been a while.
I see that 0% financing is being offered on the '07's or 2.9 on the '08's. Which one is better? I plan on keeping the car for at least 4 or 5 years.
My question is has anyone gone to the dealership after making an appt. with the Costco contact and is that price a no haggling price? I am wondering if that is a rock bottom price or if I go in with my Edmunds breakdown will I be better off having a lower price quoted?
    Thanks so much.
  • caravan2caravan2 Member Posts: 198
Is TDA included in the invoice price in edmunds.com?

I got a fax where TDA was $500. So, dealer invoice is $500 more than edmunds.com.

So, when you say below invoice, do you include part of the invoice?

    Thanks,
  • sirarniesirarnie Member Posts: 11
I got the quote from Dublin Toyota. According to them, the invoice price is 24,802. But yeah, you should be able to find one below invoice easily (before the rebate). What I did was I emailed all the dealers in the Bay Area. Don't give out your number though or else you will get bug to death. Also, check the newspaper ads. Fremont Toyota was advertising a 2008 Sienna LE for 23,888. Let me know if you find a better deal. I'm still looking.

I posted specific details but the post got nuked from the board. Drop me an email at the email address in my profile and I can provide you the info.
  • sirarniesirarnie Member Posts: 11
Thanks. I actually got all the info before they nuked it because I knew they were going to that :-). I already called the person you bought it from today but he wasn't there so I left him a voicemail. Can you do me a favor and break down the price for me (sale price + tax + doc fees)? I would email you but you have your email address set to private so I can't see it. Mine is public so if you want to email me the details, i would really appreciate. I'm trying to buy one before Christmas for my wife and I'm running out of time. Thanks again and I hope you are enjoying your new Sienna.

    hi siranie,
Can you give me your dealer email list in the Bay Area? I am in the market for an XLE with EVP1. My email address is sienna.quote@gmail.com.
    thanks,
    Cheng
  • sirarniesirarnie Member Posts: 11
Hi Cheng. I dont' really have a list. What I did was I went to the toyota website. Under "locate a dealer", just type in your zip code and you should get a list of all the dealers in your area. There should be a link to request a quote for each dealership. I got quotes from toyota dealers in sacramento, fairfield, stockton, and modesto as well but the bay area dealers seems to have better prices. Go to the link below and look at the posting entitled "Tweaked Donkeypunch Method & Bot Yesterday". It's very useful. Good luck with your search.

I read a post here mentioning 0% financing for 2007 Sienna. Is this incentive in MD-VA-DC area and what are the terms. Appreciate a quick reply as I am looking to buy in couple of days.

I am also looking for a sienna LE with QF #2, RL, and AL. The best $ I got so far is $23,689 + tax and lic etc. I read your previous posts and know you got $25.5K out the door. Will you also let me know which dealer and contact person is it? Thanks!
  • sirarniesirarnie Member Posts: 11
Is that quote before or after the 1K rebate? I have the the dealer's contact info. You are not allowed to post names of salespeople and their phone number. Send me an email or make your email address public and I'll send it to you. What color are you looking for? I was at the dealership yesterday and they didn't have the color I was looking (silver or slate) with the package#2 so I think I'm going to go with an LE 8 passenger with package#1 instead. If you can let me know the color, I can ask him. I'm already getting a quote for Cheng. Maybe we can get a group discount :-).
  • chubby6chubby6 Member Posts: 5
that was already after $1K rebate! I am looking for silver shadow pearl or desert sand mica whichever is available. I guess I'll have to go with the price i got if the person who got $25.5 will not get back to me. Thanks!
  • sirarniesirarnie Member Posts: 11
The best quote I got for a package#2 with AL, RF, and CF is 24,388 from Daly City Toyota. Give them a try. 100jewel got his for 24,212. His came with the E5 option as well, which is just chrome exhaust tip. He emailed me the name and number of the Salesperson he bought it from. Send me an email and I'll send it to you. I know they don't have a Silver Shadow Pearl for sure because that was the one I was looking for. I'll ask him if they have a desert sand mica.
  • ccc88ccc88 Member Posts: 39
    hello all,
I have been trying to get quotes over internet for an XLE with EVP#1, and most quotes I got are a few hundred to 1000 above invoice. Is that the norm for XLE, or am I just bad luck? I heard plenty of people getting LE below invoice. thanks!!
  • rmossrmoss Member Posts: 23
Pulled the trigger today at Piercey Toyota (bay area). Here are the details:

Model: 2008 Sienna XLE FWD EVP #4 with CF
    Base price: 31,083 (after rebate)
With accessories: 31,400 (Mudguards installed/cargo net/clear mats all over)

    7 yr/75 K platinum extended warranty with 0 ded - 1000
    4 yr/55 K premium maintenance plan - 1275

Total OTD with everything included - 36725

How did I do? I feel pretty satisfied after an exhaustive 1+ month search.
  • caravan2caravan2 Member Posts: 198
Is JBL option worth $1500. I saw XLE EVP #2 which has JBL with additional cost of $1500 for JBL.
  • bowang88bowang88 Member Posts: 11
    Rmoss, Great deal...

How do you like the clear mats? Are they the same sizes as the carpet kind? I am ready to move on the negotiation now. Thanks,-Michelle
  • rmossrmoss Member Posts: 23
I wanted something to protect the aisle/side depending on where your second row seats are. Also, I felt carpet mats wear out too easily and all weather mats dont fit in with the interior look. Thats why I went for carpet mats (since they were there anyway) and clear mats on top of them. The clear mats are the exact size for a Sienna and also cover the cargo area.

FWIW, I believe the JBL system now includes Bluetooth.

I think the base stereo is pretty good, though, better than my Subaru's.
