Lonestar is correct , the H.P are all roughly the same for the Prowler ,300 and R/T. I have never heard of this 300 H.P program . The only way to get more out of this engine is to do what DC is going to do with the 300 Tuner motor,- cams, port and polish . All the hotrod tricks.
Fastdriver - Thanks

Your manual site had every stinking manual except the 99 LHS and 300M Service Supplement I'm looking for. I have seen a picture of the front cover and it's green. Still need part number from back cover. Anyone?
Just to let you know, there IS a 300M Enthusiasts Club (beyond the Internet). Check out our web site at http://www.300mclub.org. We're planning a Club rendezvous in Detroit MI in August (same weekend as the Woodward Dream Cruise), which is within easy striking distance from Northern KY. I'm a Cincinnati boy myself (now residing in Seattle), so have been thru Florence many times.
One of our 300M Club static cling decals would look good on your windshield (free with membership). Here's what it looks like:

i just got home from nashville, so im about to post more pics up there, ill let u know when its done...
workin on the site now, more to come in a few!
At each of the 3 inch ends, there is a sleeve insert. On the inlet side, it definiately narrows to a restriction (about 2 inch). Air exits this restriction over a gap between the inlet sleeve and the outlet sleeve, then enters the outlet sleeve which enlarges back to 3 inches again.
Now to remove the sleeves. What I did is pry, poke, etc and break things up a bit. The sleeve has two tangs about 1-2 inches inside that hold it in. I broke the outer 3 inch inlet plastic a little trying to pry it out, but I got it out. For the outlet sleeve I tried to punch holes in the sides of the sleeve to use to weaken it and for pry points. I did not want to use the edge of the outlet sleeve. This worked better than trying to pry between the sleeve and outer plastic as I did for the inlet side.
Now that the sleeves are out. We have a curved plastic box with a bunch of ribs inside. It's not the best thing, but it's no restriction like before.
One other thing, the intake plenum is attached to the Throttle body with a 90 deg rubber piece that round where it connects to the plenum and egg shaped where it connects to the TB. This accomodates air flow to the air sensor.
Putting everything back together, the car is not noticeably louder, even at higher RPMs. The car is always load at the higher revs anyway. Definate seat of the pants improvement. This seems to complement the TB mod I did a few weeks ago.
In conclusion, I recommend and am going to buy a 3 inch intake tube. GR8WHT (Stephen Lister)in the dodgeintrepid.net forum is selling them for $140 He's also doing Throttle Body mods for people who want someone to do it for them.

Herrmdog - Beautiful ride. Did I read right...A Sega? Keep your eyes on the road man! lol.
Here are my albums of Big Red. I have installed a K&N (might need to do more given what I've been reading here), dual exhaust, window tint, a custom clock face and a spoiler. I've also removed the Chrysler lettering from the car for a cleaner look.
