Sticker 25,305
E-quote 20,749
This is roughly 18% off sticker
Two things I don't like about the car: the color and CVT
Should I negotiate for a lower price?
Tax is 8%
What would be the OTD?
I've been reading over some of these posts, thanks for pointing me in the more educated car buying direction. I'd like your opinion on today's offer;
So-cal (CA) area for 2014 Honda Accord EX-L V6 with NAV
$ 27,572 + TTL (2757) = 30,329
-$500 (college incentive) used as down payment per HONDA
OTD: $29,829
Another local dealership blurted out 26,500 + (2650) TTL = 29,150... after we began to leave but really didn't like the color
any more room for negotiation?
27,572 is a good price . Make this deal.

Accord Ex, CVT model = 24,288 which includes the 790 dest/ charge. Re-check your agreed sale price numbers or model. something is off here.

Is there more room to negotiate......... probably

I emailed an offer of 21,900 (33% off sticker) for a 2014 Accord EX-L V6 with Navi . What is the likelihood of them accepting this offer? The dealership has three 2014 Accords left, and two of them are EX-L V6 with Navi.
Target price of 2500 below dealers invoice after taking dealers doc fee charge of 125 dollars into consideration should be your firm target price. If uwant to go a few hundred higher that's fine to but remember dealer has 3 left and can sell it cheaper to a un educated buyer for under 2k below and get it..
30,162 is invoice price with dest charge. Tell all dealers you will buy vehicle for $27,537 plus taxes and tags. this gives you your 2500 below dealers invoice price.

Accord Sports Invoice is 23,225 with the 790 dest/ charge included. Your target price in Dallas should start at 2k below dealers invoice trying for as high as 2500 or more.
Supply and demand and your negotiating skills pitting one dealer against the next are key factors in getting that top tier price.

In N. CA (Sacramento area)? So far have 27,988 inc destination, from Marin Honda, am I right to be targeting 27,500-27,600?
Steve
Thanks in advance.....
The 2014 EXL V-6 w/ Nav invoice = 29,371 @Nada price or 29,372 @Edmunds price list. Dest/ charge of 790 is not included in this price . Make sure you add it to the total when negotiating a price with dealers.
@Nada.com usually lists one dollar cheaper than Edmunds invoice pricing.

If you could get 2500 below invoice or a few dollars more this month or next that is a knock out deal. 2k below should be the going rate this month for most.
23 Telluride SX-P X-Line, 23 Camry XSE
car: $19000
accessories: $200 (door edge guards, pin stripe, wheel well moldings + mud guard parts)
tax: 9.8%
registration and license: $218
documentation fee: $150
You need to bargain hard to get this price.
I'm assuming the price includes destination charge. If yes then that's a very good deal. I hope I can get something similar when I do my car shopping next week.
Btw, do you guys think there will be any discounts for Black Friday?
I just got a quote from Thousand Oaks in LA area for an Accord 2015 EX-L 4 cyl. The invoice price is $27,046.88 which they said $1,500 below and the price would be $25,546.88 before TTL. How much room do I have to negotiate? Thanks.

Invoice including destination: 28,710 (per edmunds)
internet price: 26,972

So 28,710 invoice - 26,972 - 369= 1,369 under invoice
We showed up w/an old car to trade (got the price above before mentioning any trade) so subtracted another 1700 from the selling price before adding in 6% sales tax and title/registration. Went with the 0.9% financing over 60 months.
Was very happy with this deal. I live VT and no one in this state or NH could get within 1600 of this price. We bought from Boch Honda in Norwood, MA. I think their pricing reflects the large volume they sell (this was their original offer to me when I called on the phone to the internet department…no haggling and I didn't try as I felt this was more than fair). They claim to be the largest honda dealer in the world.
The only negative was the final transaction at the dealer. They didn't change any numbers but were very unprofessional and rude to us. They also displayed gross incompetence in all levels of finishing the sale, which should have been straight forward as I had gone over all the final steps w/other sales staff in advance. Won't give all the details because not worth reliving. It was like closing your car deal in the midway of a carnival.

I got a quote for a 2014.5 Camry SE 4-cyl automatic for over 21% off sticker:

This price is very tempting, eventhough I prefer manual transmission.
I got an updated quote for 2014 honda accord sport here in Cincinnati OH.
Listing price: $20,500 (destination fee included)
OTD: $22,200
Is this a good price? What is the dealer price in my area?
Thank you in advance.
I got an updated pricing on 2014 Honda accord sport here in Cincinnati, OH:

Doc fee: $250
Sales Tax: $1,400 (6.25%)
License fees: $48.50
Total OTD: $22,200
Shall I make the deal? Also what is the dealer invoice on this model here?
Thanks in advance!
Your OTD price fora 2015 Honda Accord Sport is as follows :
$22,192 Internet Pricing
$1,683.11 Tax
$ 249.50 Doc Fee
$33.50 Title
$24,158.11 OTD
We are also running a finance special on 15 Accords at 0.9% for up to 60 months
Will this be a problem for me when I try to get financing? Can others who got their Accords through the College Graduate Program share their experiences with me?
Good deal in Cincy.

This is a good deal. By negotiating thru to the end of the month could save you a few more dollars with more dealerships involved .
23 Telluride SX-P X-Line, 23 Camry XSE
I would apply for / get pre approval for a loan at a low rate credit union 1st then have dealers match this price if they are higher. Your price of 19,900 is 2500 below dealers invoice price minus dealers doc fee charge.
23 Telluride SX-P X-Line, 23 Camry XSE
Bottom deal is at invoice price .

1) What are you really gaining going from a 2013 to a 2015 Accord?;
2) You are currently upside down and by trading it in so early, you are rolling in the debt into the new loan. You are getting into a deeper debt for what is essentially the same car;
3) The cap cost offer on the 2015 is terrible and you can do much better; and
4) $450/mo. for a lease on an Accord is way too much. You can lease a Lexus GS350 with that much dough.

I really appreciate your advice, and it's really helpful to everyone here. I got the following deal in NE Illinois. Did I pay too much? The dealer would not budge even by $1. I had 7 dealers pricing the car, and none would agree to the OTD door price I got below. It seems that stock is running low around here.
