We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease - if the truck is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.

I'll assume 4WD as you are in PA.

39/10 MF is 2.45% and residual is 59%. With your MSRP and selling price and $0 down, I get a pre-tax payment of $790.36/mo. Every $1000 down reduces your payment by $28/mo.

Closing on my lease tonight - 2015 Yukon XL SLE 4wd. I am in WI and getting 3000 lease cash and 1000 for driving a 99 or newer competitive vehicle. 39 mos 15k lease $552/per month. msrp 58060 and invoice of 53693. 58% residual and 2.45% APR. Starting from invoice of 53693 they took off 4000 and in rebates and then gave me 1250 of the 1730 in holdback off the deal. They would have put 200 more of holdback in the deal but they had to locate the vehicle 8 hrs away and do a dealer trade and send a driver to swap the vehicles. So i agreed to let them take 200 of the holdback and put it back into sale price to cover costs. very happy with the deal.

How much did you put down? the deal seems too good to be true. how did you get the 4K of invoice plus the holdback money?

deciding between a Tahoe and Yukon. are the residuals and MF different? It seems like the Yukon is 2% higher (assume 39/12 and 39/15) Thx.

Not that I can see - 39/15 is 2.45% and 58% for both.

the Tahoe LTZ was 56 for 39/15 and 58 for 39/12. The Yukon SLT is 2% better on each one or is that for the lower version SLE? Thanks and sorry for all the questions. Just trying to clarify.

from the top:

39/15 for 2015 Yukon - 2.45% MF and:

56% for all trims without the 3SA option package

58% for trims that include 3SA

Add 2% for 12K

I don't know what trim level the 3SA option relates to

How did you get the $4K off invoice? The only competitive incentive is $500K off.

This is what I was offered tonight for a 2015 Yukon SLE 4WD 3sa. The dealer would not allow me to get the Internet price of the vehicle which was $42959 that included conquest $2000, trade in rebate of $2000 and $6351 internet retail coupon. However.. They state Internet pricing does not apply to leases.. However they claim to give me 4k in gm supplier rebates. Please advise of what monthly payment should be... When I process the numbers. I'm getting a different amount. Also I have never heard of a dealer not using Internet price when leasing...

So.... the price is $50,216 and then you get a $4000 rebate off that? And, then $7000 more due at signing? The payment seems awfully high, given all that. That is a lot of money to put down on a lease.

Yes that is exactly what I'm thinking... that the monthly payment is still too high. From my understanding the supplier price is 49522. I'm assuming the dealer is taking the 4000 off the MSRP then adding the fees on?? However, the numbers are not adding up to me. Is the residual for 10k /24months a good deal at 68%? Also, what amount is good to put down... I'd prefer a lower monthly payment. Are you familiar with dealers not using internet pricing for leasing? The dealer is 200 miles away with the lowest price around.. Which is the reason I considered traveling to them for vehicle, their internet price is 42959 with 3sa package.

The residual is set by the bank and can't be changed by the dealership. 36 month terms are going to be a lot better. It's always better to get a quote that doesn't involve any sort of downpayment or cap cost reduction, because it's a lot easier to compare and see exactly what you are paying for the vehicle. Making a $7000 downpayment will lower the payment on a 24 month lease by $300/mo, but that doesn't change the actual cost of the vehicle.

Looking for a Yukon SLT 4WD. Found one in IN for MSRP $59,380. With Costco discount the dealer will take it down to $55,000. For 39/15k lease their first offer was $653/month, w/o tax. Said MF was 2.45% and residual value of $33,252.80 which comes out to be 60%.

Seems high. If we can get cap cost down a couple of thousand this should come in below $600 a month before taxes.

We are still waiting for the GM numbers for October .. hopefully later this week.

2.45% APR is the base rate, but I show the 39mo, 15K/yr residual as 58%, not 60%..

36mo, 15K = 60%, 39mo, 12K = 60%.. but, not 39mo, 15K/yr.

Ok. The salesperson didn't give us the actual residual percentage, just that the residual value was $33,252.80. So if I back calculate the cap cost based on 58%, then the actual cap cost is $57,332.41 and not the $55,000 that the sales person said it was.

The residual is based off the MSRP, not the negotiated cap cost.

I'm confused (my issue I'm sure).... When posters ask about MF and cap cost on Yukon SLT's the response seems to be based upon whether the 3SA package is included or not. If I'm not mistaken, the 3SA package is the SLE model (fewer options, lower cost). So, the question is - do all numbers dervive from the SLE Models - no SLT specific numbers?

My numbers are pretty close to what they are quoting you .. rounding issues might explain the difference.

I'd go back and politely but firmly ask for the base MF.

I can only tell you what I see. One set of numbers for "Yukon excludes 3SA" and one set for "Yukon with 3SA". No mention of any other option codes.

the only way to make the deal better is to negotiate more off the sticker price ... but you're already getting 6% off sticker.

Found another 2015 Yukon SLT. Same dealer. Has 3,900 miles on it. MSRP of $62,910. Selling price of $55,533.46. 39 months, 15k year.

This dealer wants $674 a month (with 7% sales tax included) AND $1,348 down up front. Based on these numbers the lease should be $623 WITH 7% sales tax included and ZERO down. What a joke. We told them their number is way too high based on GM money factor and residual. They want us to come in so the sales manager can explain it to us.

We are moving on to a different dealer.

hi Im from Texas, still pending my detailed numbers but told the salesman  the deal the guy here got for 718 a month, he says its still pending 4000 in taxes. Is this true? MSRP for one i want is 63000 salesprice is 62000, only 1000 difference. Pmnt would be around $840 seems too high  so numbers they ar giving me are def going to be difft than here.

In TX, you pay sales tax on the full selling price of the vehicle, even on a lease.

We're shopping for a 2015 Yukon SLE 2WD. Sticker is $48,925 increases to $52,943 with dealer installed options. Sale price is $49,949 (Costco current promotion) - $4,000 in rebates. Dealer quoted monthly payment of $552 for 36/12K and $2,000 in "drive offs". Is this right?

I don't believe the dealer options can be residualized.

With an MSRP of $48,925 and a net cap cost of $45,949, in conjunction with a 2.45% MF and 58% residual, I get a pre-tax payment of $563.94/mo for 36 months.

How is the $2000 in drive off money broken down?
