    Hello,

Any word on November rates from GMC? Looking for 36 (or 39 months which ever is favorable) SLT model with 15,000 miles per year. I just returned from the dealer today and was told that the current residual is 57% with a 3.5% APR... I find this hard to believe considering it was 60%/2.45% last month. Can we verify this?

    Thanks!

We show 2.50% APR and 60% or 58% depending on trim/packages.. for 36/15. Subtract 2% for 39 months.

The information you provided has been very helpful in my search. I'm not sure if this is the right forum discussion to post this question, but it is related to the lease. I located a yukon model that appears to be a demo/loaner vehicle, with a bit under 10,000 miles on it. New, the msrp is just over 65k, it is currently being offered at 7% off msrp... Discounts on non-demo cars have been in the 10-13% range with negotiations. What would be a good offer on this vehicle?

With 10K miles, it should be at least $2000 less than a comparable new unit.

That wouldn't be worth it to me, considering the cost is $60K.. I'd want at least $5K less, or I'd stick with new.

This is my first time on this forum.

I am interested in leasing a 2015 Yukon XL SLT 2WD. MSRP $67,010, the selling price is $64,200. Dealer quoted $1000 down, 36mo lease @ $856 per month, 10K miles, 59% residual. Does this seem to high? I am in Florida.

Thanks, any guidance would be appreciated.

We only have Ally Bank numbers.. I show 61% residual for 36mo, 10K/yr. and an APR of 2.50%.

But, using the 59% residual they quoted, I get around $790/mo. plus tax.. Considering acquistion fees, dealer fees, title/registration and tax, $856/mo. is probably pretty close.. 61% residual instead of 59% would lower the payment by about $25/mo.

It appears that a lot of people have been receiving different quotes on the residual value of the vehicles. Typically from what I notice here is that the money factor is usually padded for extra profit, but not so much the residuals. In the past your numbers are right on point, is this common practice among GM dealers to quote lower residuals to add extra profit. Is there any type of rules that forbid this practice?

GM dealers can use three or four different banks. Different banks may have different residuals. We only have numbers from ALLY.

GM does vary their residuals by trim line, and the codes don't always match up with what is on the sticker (LT1, LTZ, etc.). A lot of the codes are order codes for packages. Sometimes there are variances that we don't know about.

Ask for numbers on a BMW and it's much simpler. ;)

Haha well it appears that the codes are just complicated ways in stating SLT or SLE packages.

And yes you're entirely correct, I got a killer deal on my 5 series at the end of December last year with the help of this forum and some hard bargaining. The GM lease process is a lot more complicated as you stated.

Looking to lease a 2015 Yukon 4wd SLE and would appreciate the MF and residual for 36-month/15,000 mile lease & 24-month/15,000 mile lease. Thanks in advance!

24/15 - 1.78% MF and 64%/66% residual, depending on option group.

    36/15 - 2.50% MF and 58%/60% residual.

    No lease cash.

One more question about this "new" vehicle. The dealer said it will be registered as new and is being advertised as the same, does this mean it qualifies for the same APR and residuals that GM advertises for it's new vehicles?

It should.. Watch for the in-service date and warranty expiration. You might be giving up warranty time, as well as mileage.

We're looking to Lease a 2015 Yukon SLT,( $61,470 MSRP) 36mos/12 or 15miles. No $ down, just required drive off. Can you confirm with me the NOV. MF & Residual for the SLT (Open road pack/bucket seats) Live in Calif 92660. Is there really a better incentive to lease on Black Friday or end of the Month? We're trying to be around $699 a month. Is that realistic ? What is smart lease, $12 month & it gives you $4,500 towards overage on mileage, wear & tear at the end of lease, Worth it?

    2.50% and either 58% (w/0 3SA option package) or 60% (w/ 3SA) for 36/15. Add 2% for 12K miles per year.

Dealers may be willing to make a better deal at the end of the month, but I'm not aware of any specific incentives available for Black Friday.

In order to model a payment, we would need to know the negotiated selling price and cap cost (with all fees rolled in).

No opinion on Smart Lease - I suppose it depends on how many miles you drive and how you care for your car.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I'm using the LeaseGuide.com Calculater to plug in my $ % #'s. Can you tell me what 3SA is again? I think it's a lease coding, not sure how to tell if my car has this ? Do these same #'s apply if I'm also looking to lease at a Chevy Tahoe LTZ ?

3SA is an option package - not sure how it translates to a trim level like LT or LTZ.

Numbers are the same for LTZ.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday. I'm in the process of leasing a 2015 Yukon Denali with MSRP of $70,500 for a 39/10k. I called the dealer and they said the residual value is 59% and the MF is .0018. I find it hard to believe since I've been seeing on here higher residual value. I'm located in Chicago if that helps any. Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm looking at a lease for a 2015 GMC Yukon Denali here in Dallas, Texas. MSRP = 72335, Negotiated Price = 67100, Trade In = 16000, 36 month. Probably 12k miles year.

What should I expect for the MF and Residual Value?

Also looking at 2015 Denali. In Chicago. MSRP $77,065; Negotiated price (Costco) $71,500. I've been using Edmunds for years buying, but now looking at my first lease. Can you provide residual and rate info, as well as any 'gotchas' to look out for? Thanks!

    They're offering 3.15%
Residual 56%. 39 months. Sounds like a bad deal? Been using edmunds to buy for years, but new to leasing. Can I negotiate both? Credit is very strong.
Costco got the purchase price great, but looks like rate/residual way off

GM numbers are regional. It's possible that Illinois has some different rates.

Also, GM has different residuals by trim line... It looks to me like the Denali gets the higher residual (the one I quoted), but it's possible that it doesn't. Dealers can't really play with the residual.

The best way to check is to shop another dealer.

The Ally lease numbers we have are national.

Be advised that until 12/31, leases in IL tax the entire selling price. After 1/1/15, only the monthly payment is taxed.

36/15 numbers for the Yukon Denali XL are 2.50% MF and either 58% or 60% residual.

Hello, do you have numbers for standard Denali (non-XL) 4WD 36 mo @ 15k/year?

Also, I noticed some of the SLT residuals are noted as different based on trim. Are there different trim levels within the various models (SLE, SLT, etc.)?

    Thanks in advance

    2.50% APR and 58% residual

The SLT has the same residual, the SLE is 2% higher.

    Hey.

Do you have any updated data on lease & incentive info for a AWD Denali 36/39 month lease with 12k miles for NJ.

Any idea if it's better to hold off until Jan?

    2.50% MF and 60% or 62% residual for 36/12. Subtract 2% for 39 months.

Don't know what the numbers will look like next month, but I wouldn't expect them to be much different.

Are the numbers posted above for the SLT the same for a Denali? I'm looking at a 24 month/12k lease for a 4WD Denali.
