June 30th, got the deal, MSRP $47300 27 months for $439.98. I also returned 2013 RX350 that had 9 months left. $0 money down, first month, tag transfer, and etc - $800 out the door.
Can you please let me know what the current numbers are in south FL for 36 months/12K? Any incentives? Also, do you know when these numbers expire? The dealer told me that the residuals reset on July 6.

Moderator, can you please update me on the current numbers in TX, as they reset today. 36 month/12k and 36 month/15k. Has the lease cash remained the same?

What is the lease price for the RX? MSRP - 44655 Sales Price - 40850 (doesn't include any incentive)
36 mos/12K in South FL (assuming top tier credit). Assuming I come out of pocket for inception costs (title. tags. etc.), I am coming up with a payment around $415 (+tax). The price I am getting quoted is $450/month. It's very possible that I am calculating things wrong.

Thanks in advance.
If the sale price is the CAP cost, I get $438/mo.+tax. .00070 MF and 60% residual
Need a quick opinion as we are making the deal tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for always helping out on this board!
MSRP: $46,138
$1,936 Rebate
$5,528 Discount
Adjusted Price $38,664
Acq fee: $700
MF: .000750
Net Price: $39,950.95

This seems like a screaming deal and the monthly payment is about right.
Some help would be much appreciated.
Hi Moderator! Just checking to see if you had the Money Factor & Residual for July - central ohio - 36 Months, 12,000 miles.
Not sure if it varies by model - looking at RX350 AWD with Luxury Package, Comfort Package & Navigation.
Thanks
.00070 and 60%. $1500 lease cash and complimentary first payment
Moderator - Quick clarification question. It seems that TMV is coming in at 5% less than MSRP. Easy math is on a 50K car the sell price is 47,500. If we make the assumption that is the initial cap cost do you reduce it further to $46,000 for the $1,500 lease cash? Thanks in advance.

TMV is an average; ideally, you'd negotiate a price lower than that.
Hey everyone I am looking to find the best deal in the metro atlanta area or cleveland ohio area. I am getting an AWD model 2015 because of all the great incentives now before they run out of stock. What lease period is the best deal currently and mileage amount? also what market would I be able to get a better deal out of. Thanks in advance any other help would be greatly appreciated.

36 months is the best term.. the best mileage allowance is always the one that matches your mileage needs. Where are you going to license the vehicle? Given the vast difference in taxes between those two states, I'd want to lease it where I register it.

Well lets stay 12k or 15k...I will probably purchase it in GA unless the prices I am quoted in Ohio are just a much better deal. I emailed all the dealers in the area to ask what is the best they can do. One dealer emailed me back today saying they can do $5800 off of msrp and $1500 more off if I lease. I was going to use that to start negotiating with other dealers as well. Is that a great price in general or can I do better? Also is there anything else you suggest I look out for as far as numbers?

.00070 MF and 58% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr. In addition to the $1500 lease cash, Lexus pays the 1st payment on leases.
If you are registering the car in GA, they tax the full selling price of the car, not the lease payment.

Both seem expensive. What state is this? Tax obligations vary and can dramatically affect your lease payment.
Base MF this month for the RX is .00070, so one dealer is marking up the MF on you.
36/15 residual is 58%; getting fewer miles is OK so long as you don't need them. Saving money on the monthly payment only to give it back at the end of the lease because you drove too much doesn't make much sense.

Never hurts to get multiple dealers involved. Tell them you want the base MF; they know what the rate is.

So now they both said it's .00075 But they quote higher because most of the people only qualify for tier 2. How do they calculate what tiers based on Credit and what are the rates per tier currently. Since they tax off the whole car in GA I'm thinking of just buying in cleveland Ohio much more selection for awd cars there as well. What are the residuals for 10 12 and 15k up there? As well as the mf rates? Thanks

With a CAP cost of $45,500, the payment would be $492.mo. Maybe that's the CAP cost before adding tax?

Wow this was his response! "Cap cost on the contract does not include taxes, reg, title, Georgia Lemon law tax etc. The Cap cost reflects the discount we did on the RX." "Legal contract states a Cap cost ( selling price ), The "Adjusted" cap cost would have all the fees calculated. The reason I gave you the cap cost, was 1. for you to calculate the lease and 2nd, for you to see the deal we have you."
Seems like he is trying to get over on me. When I added all the discounts and fees. Final price should be $47,656 - first months payment
Got the following deal in Texas: 2015 RX350 (the most common config here with premium/nav/BLS/comfort/preferred accessory/wood+leather steering wheel) MSRP: $49,989 Discount: $6000 Term: 36 month, 12k/yr Lease Cash -$1500 TX TAX: 6.25% RV: 60% They offered a 1 time lease payment option of $13919.00 which comes to $386/month. Is this a good deal? Should I go for 1 time payment option? Or monthly lease payment. The monthly payment would have been $504/month including taxes. Any suggestions? Obviously I save quite a bit with the 1 time payment option (which still includes gap coverage). But which one should I go with?

Holy Cow!! That's a big spread on payments between single-pay and monthly. Frankly, it makes no sense. However, if it works out, grab that single-pay option. Make sure it's a true lease and not some balloon payment program. Because, that's cheap!! Almost makes me think they forgot the tax on the single-pay quote.
Just purchased the following in Minnesota; 2015 AWD $47,749 MSRP. $5500 off sticker including the $1500 rebate. Residual 61%, MF of .00070
We were going to pay drive offs of tax (they are total lease amt up front), tags, registration and bank fee for a total of $2,485 with a payment of $423 including tax, but decided to roll everything in and just drive off with $0 because the MF works out to 1.7% interest rate.
Payment $494 for 35 more months, zero drive off. Comparing without tax would be $35 less or $459 a month.

Actually they are paying the tax for the single pay option.. That explains $75 of the difference . Also with single pay the MF is 0.00001.. I.e pretty much no interest..
Odd that they would pay the tax on a lease. They'd have to be reducing your cap cost, as state taxes don't change.
For the one pay option it should reduce the payment about 40 per month. Depends if you can make more than 4% on the money you're giving them up front ($13,919). Also, it doesn't save you as much because the MF is already so low at 0.0007.

Seems like he is trying to get over on me.
When I added all the discounts and fees.
Final price should be $47,656 - first months payment

They offered a 1 time lease payment option of $13919.00 which comes to $386/month. Is this a good deal? Should I go for 1 time payment option? Or monthly lease payment. The monthly payment would have been $504/month including taxes. Any suggestions? Obviously I save quite a bit with the 1 time payment option (which still includes gap coverage). But which one should I go with?

2015 AWD $47,749 MSRP.
First Lexus for us, we'll see how it goes....

For the one pay option it should reduce the payment about 40 per month. Depends if you can make more than 4% on the money you're giving them up front ($13,919). Also, it doesn't save you as much because the MF is already so low at 0.0007.
