    Hi,

If available, please could you post the December residual and MF for a 36 month / 12K lease on a 2015 GT AWD in RI.

    Thanks in advance.

.00034 MF and 54% residual. $925 lease cash.
Thank-you! Too bad about the MF this month.
    Yeah that is a bummer...

Hello, Can you please provide the MF and Residual (December) for 2015:

    CX-5 Awd Touring 36mo/12 & 15k miles:
    CX-5 2wd Grand Touring 36mo/12 & 15k miles:
    CX-5 Awd Grand Touring 36mo/12 & 15k miles:
(San Francisco, Northern CA, Bay Area)
Any cash incentives for using Mazda leasing?

Also, when comparing OTD sales price to the dealer invoice, is the destination charge included in the dealer invoice? I' have been reading through several of the forums where buyers for example have stated they purchased the car for $1,000 under invoice , so i was curious if destination charge is included in the invoice price.

    thanks!!

.00001 MF for all.. $925 lease cash.

    CX-5 Awd Touring 36mo/12 & 15k miles: 52%/51%
    CX-5 2wd Grand Touring 36mo/12 & 15k miles: 53%/52%
    CX-5 Awd Grand Touring 36mo/12 & 15k miles: 54%/53%

Destination is on the MSRP and on the dealer's invoice.. If it's being broken out separately, it's just a ruse to make the price of the car seem cheaper..

Interesting that the cold weather North East gets a 34x higher MF than CA this month. Not a dig at Mazda, supply and demand reigns supreme, but noteworthy in terms of timing lease shopping.

34 X, while accurate, doesn't really acknowledge the actual difference in the finance charges.. It's about $14-$15/mo. difference..

So... yes, a little more. .00034 is still very low as money factors go. Equivalent to less than 1% APR.

    Good morning,

You provided me with the lease cash incentive of $925.00 a few days ago, where do go to find the monthly incentives? I can't find this particular incentive one posted anywhere. I'm in Northern CA.

I find a $1000.00 dealer cash rebate for purchases on edmunds, but can't find the $925.00 lease cash.

    Thanks!!

That's because the lease cash is factory to dealer, not factory to customer. The dealer can then choose to pass along that incentive, in whole or in part, to you.

This is the quote I got to lease a 2015 Touring 2WD CX-5 in TX:

    MSRP: 25795
    Selling: 23,138
    Cap Cost: 25,435.13
    Residual Value: $12,640
    Money factor 0.00034

    36m/15K

zero out of pocket at signing (TTL,Acquisition Fee which includes Gap Insurance and first payment rolled into lease)

Monthly payment is $380 (actually 35 payments of this)

Thoughts on the deal? First time doing a lease.

Be advised that TX applies sales tax to the entire purchase price, increasing the lease paymen greatly.

Base MF is being used, so that's a plus.

Thanks for the info Michaell. This is what the quote was if I pay TTL and the first payment at signing. Is there any issue in rolling the tax into the lease, outside of the higher lease payment?

$321 a month - 36 month lease allowing 15,000 miles per year - $0 Down Payment - Tax, Title and License plus 1st months payment due = $2,023 total due at the start - $12,640 Residual Value / Purchase Option

No opinion on paying the tax upfront or not -- the total outlay will be the same.

With the numbers you've given me (49% residual), I get a payment of $368.38/mo. I'm assuming you are rolling in the taxes into this rather than paying them up front.

Yes I was rolling it in and they quoted $380 a month. Wonder what the extra $12 a month could be?

It works out to $432 over the entire lease term ... could there be an extra fee the dealer is trying to sneak in on you?

That is where the manufacturer is choosing to put their incentives.. No different from them offering 0% financing..

.00034 MF and 55%/54% resisidual. Don't have any information on cash rebates, but there is $925 of dealer lease cash on this vehicle.

This dealer is marking up the money factor by the maximum allowed..

So I agreed to this, but haven't taken delivery:

    $31775.00 MSRP

    $29022.00 Agreed upon price
    $595.00 Acquisition Fee
    $150.00 Document Fee
    $29767.00 Total Cap Cost

    $235.00 Registration
    -$500.00 Rebate Equity

    0.00034 MF & 54% residual
    9.8% Tax here in WA.

    They got 402.xx, I was calculating 394.xx.

    What do you think?

With the numbers provided, I'm getting $402.xx/mo.

How does the registration and rebate equity affect the total cap cost? That might be the delta.

Wondering what the MF and residual is for a Grand Touring AWD in Minnesota. Looking at a 36mo/10K lease. Dealer is holding on a .00051 MF and .55 residual. Thanks!

Can I please get the MF and residual for a CX-5 Touring for 36 mos 12K per year for Rhode Island? Also, does Mazda do 10k per year leases? Any difference in MF and Residual?

I agree with the 55% residual, but the base MF is .00001. They are marking it up the maximum.

Looks like I was leaving out the first months payment, in my calculations. Anyways, Thank you so much for the help with the MF. Signed the deal today saving about 44 dollars a month (due to marked up MF). I threw in 500 bucks to pay the first months payment and got a 390.XX payment, which I was happy with...

Again Thank you Michaell, your the best!

Hi Everyone - I've started gathering quotes from different dealers and have one lease at $329 per month with all fees included $0 down and $24,187 for CX-5 Sport AWD in Mass. I also received a quote for $375 from same dealer for a $25,730 CX-5 Touring AWD. Any thoughts on if they are good deals? I don't know the residual or mf in Mass, but thought I'd share what I've gotten so far. Thanks!
  • dhale87dhale87 Member Posts: 11
I also wanted to add to the above lease quotes is that they are 36 months/15k leases.

What are the MSRP's for the two? We'll need that to model a payment.

    Hi All,

A few questions on how all of you are a) coming up with selling prices, b) factoring in lease cash or lease loyalty bonus into lease calculations.

For a), I historically used Edmunds TMV. Last lease and current wife’s lease negotiations get smirks from salesmen when I mention TrueCar numbers. I have a sneaking suspicion TrueCar numbers include all the rebates and bonuses. Where are you guys setting your selling price targets?

How are you factoring the $925 lease cash loyalty bonuses? Do you subtract them right off the cash due at drive off, or are you using them as cap reductions, or using them in your selling price target?

Last, I see on the Mazda web site that there is a $500 Mazda Owner Loyalty Bonus AND a $750 Mazda Capital Services Lease Loyalty. Have any of you successfully stacked them? Of course there is tons of ‘fine print’ saying you can’t combine with ‘other public purchase incentives including, but not limited to, customer cash back, lease and APR incentives/offers’.

    Thanks,
    Chris M

Thanks for the info! We are trying to get a FWD version if possible. Any difference in numbers?
