Sorry, a bit new here. Vehicle value... is that the selling price? And Cap cost reduction, how did that come out?
Now that Nov has passed, does anyone have the numbers for December? I'm trying to get a 2015 428i -- since I think there are hardly any 2014's left around California.
Vehicle value = selling price
Cap cost reduction = customer down payment, applied to reduce the CAP cost.
BMW's current program is scheduled to run through the end of the year.
Any changes to the MF and residual % for December for a 435xi convertible, 39 months (and 42 months which I would prefer but usually is not a good deal)/ 12K miles year.
Thanks

@kyfdx just to confirm for a 2015 435i the mf is .0013 and residual is 58% 15k/yr for 36 months + $1000 holiday credit right? any change if its 39 months?

.0013 MF and 58% for 39 months, 15K/yr. $1000 Holiday Credit.
Selling Price - 43,595 (Looks to be about Invoice)
1.3MF, 61%, 39/10, Tax 9%
Cap Reduction 929.41 Cap Red Tax 174.55 License & Reg 406.75 Bank Fee 925 Doc Fee 85 First Payment 479.29 ------------- 3,000 Drive Off
$1000 Holiday Credit ---- 2,000 due at signing.
I feel maybe they can go lower? Not sure.
Many thanks guys for the help
I get $439/mo,+tax, so it looks like the calculations are right on. I agree that the selling price is about invoice, and you are getting the Holiday Credit against your Due at signing..
The only markup I see is the acquisition fee (base fee is $200). I'd say that's a pretty good deal.. If you have the cash, MSDs could cut the MF to .00081, and that would drop the post tax payment down to about $441/mo, post-tax.. Of course, that would entail a refundable security deposit of $3150, in addition to the $2000 due at signing.
I found a dealership that has a couple of 2014 428i cars on its lot. Do you know what sort of residuals, incentives etc. are available for 428i coupe? There are not many 2014s out there at all.
I am looking for a 3yr/10k miles lease. Im not even sure if such a lease is available for a 2014MY.

.00130 MF and 36/10 residual of 61%. No holiday cash.
I'm in South Florida, and the dealers are making it painfully clear that this car is very "hot" and there are very few in stock.
What can I realistically expect to accomplish here?
What are some tips on how best to approach this?
This will be my first time negotiating a lease - until now I've just financed cars, and in many cases purchased from Carmax and other "set price" dealers.
The Holiday offer is $479/mo with an MSRP of $52,300 and $4,204 due at signing.
If I want to limit cash at signing to $3,500, and I'm looking at an MSRP closer to $55K, what should I expect?

I'm good with 10k/year, and 39 months.
Thanks a ton in advance, what a great resource!
You want to negotiate your best price - use the "Make / Model / Year" pull downs to help you figure out what that price should be.
We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you aare out the money. Consider instead using that money as MSD to buy down the MF.
MF is .00130 and 39/10 residual is 62%. $1000 holiday cash.
First question: soliciting your opinions on the current lease specials on the 428i and 435i.
The deal on the 428i is $389/month (39 months, 10k/year), $3,000 down, and $0 deposit with holiday credit included in the payment. The lease states a MSRP of $44,100, and the end of lease purchase option is $26,901. The 428 comes with sport line and metallic paint.
The deal on the 435i is $469/month (39 months, 10k/year), $3,000 down, and $0 deposit with the holiday credit included in the payment. The lease states a MSRP of $51,550, and the end of lease purchase option $31,446. The 435 comes with the M Sport package, metallic paint, and driver assist package.
When I do the math using the residual values and money factors found here, these leases seem like good deals. Is that a correct assessment or can I do better?
Second question: I'm looking for a shorter term lease 24 or 30 month and 10k or 12k/year for either the 428i or 435i. I couldn't find a recent set of those numbers for the shorter lease periods. Would one of you mathemagicians kindly provide the corresponding residuals and money factors for that data set?

The lease deals are just okay..
The money factor for the shorter terms is the same (.00130), but the residuals aren't enough higher to make any of the shorter terms viable.. $100s of dollars/month more..
I took delivery of my 2015 428i xDrive last week. What do you guys think of this deal? Do the numbers seem right?
39 Months, 12,000 Miles MSRP: $51,775.00 Selling Price: $44,374.44 Residual: $31,065.00 (60%) Title, License, Reg.: $376.00 Acquisition Fee: $725.00 Doc Fee: $389.00 NJ Sales Tax: 7% Due at Signing: $4,500 ($3,150 for 7 MSDs, $900.01 Cap Cost Reduction, $449.99 1st month payment) Monthly Payment with Tax: $449.99
Also, has anybody gotten the protection package they offer? They offered me the best package for $650 that includes tire/wheel protection, windshield replacement, ding/scratch removal and up to $5,000 in damage waived at end of lease. I didn’t purchase it yet but it seems like a no-brainer so I can go back within the month to purchase. Thanks for all your help everybody!

$449/mo for a car that stickers at almost $52K is a great deal. Enjoy!

I don't have a residual for a 13K term; the closest I can get is 61%. With that in mind, I'm calculating $468.94/mo before tax; 7% tax takes the payment to $501.76.
Seems a good deal; what is the breakdown of the $3500 drive off?

We do not recommend making a Cap cost reduction; if the car is stolen or total, you are out the money.
I'm trying to lease a 2015 rwd 435i M Sport. I've been quoted two different residuals for 15K/year 3 year lease: one was 57, the other 58 percent. Isn't the residual 60 percent? And is a .00130 MF correct for the vehicle? I also thought if you lease again from the same dealership, they discounted you .00015, but the guy was unaware of this discount. What kind of cap cost should I be going for on this vehicle with an msrp of $58175? 54-55? And dealer incentives possible? I'm doing the jump ahead (one month) program on my current lease if that affects anything. No charges on my car based on a pre-lease inspection. And can I roll even the acquisition fee and any other fee they charge into the monthlies? I don't want to put anything down. I have 720ish credit. Good enough? And are California taxes 8 percent? It looks like it varies by city. Berkeley is higher than sf. thanks for any insight you might have!
