Also, when you buy one, can you order with the color of your car? A dealer told me that I have to paint it myself. I do not know anything about it, so I just took his word although I have doubts.
Lojack is not available all over North America and as such is not sold in many states. In reality, since Honda has few factory options, they wouldn't offer a regional product as factory installed. That is up to the dealers. IMHO, Lojack is great idea if it is available in your area, you park in high risk areas, and the police have nothing better to do than track your car.
It can provide peace of mind to the individual who buys it.
Responses to this post could benefit Accord w/NAVI shoppers, though personally it's an after-the-fact input for me (already bought an 03 coupe w/o NAVI).
Thanks in advance...
-portable, when we travel I can take the GPS with me
-I also use the GPS on my bike & MC
I use a suction cup mount for the windsheid so I can see it easily. At night I just turn the GPS' light on.
One thing that is nice about the Street pilot is that it auto routes and is easier to see at say 20 inches.
Of course the built in Navi is probably the best from a visibility standpoint.
speaker-level (no "pre-amp" output). Meaning, adding an external amp that reduces this output to pre-amp level only to boost it again for the
speakers wouldn't help with clean sound." Any truth to this??? I plan to have the upgrades installed Saturday...so please HELP!!!
Also, anyone tint their windows...is there anyway to get around the bubbling over the dot-matrix pattern on the rear window?
Any recommendations will be appreciated.
I have their mats in both my cars and they've worked well.
I dislike the way accord oem fog lights are design.
Do you think that the Acura TL fog lights will will fit the accord?
229, 237 and 245 for information and installation guidelines.
Good luck.
Based on the CL which also has those lower bumper lights, there's even a chance that the TL's are "driving," not fog lights but I may be wrong.

In surfing the web for something else, I happend upon this link. I have used Logjam products in the past for my 03 accord and am very satisifed with their claims and service.

I'm looking at suggestions for exhausts, performance tires, etc...
Also, can you add the aero kit that they offer for the V6 models, after purchase?
The cargo net required four anchors be installed on the trunk floor as well as two anchors on the sides. When the trunk tray is placed in the trunk it covers the four floor anchors.
In order to use both accessories, I've considered re-installing the four floor anchors over the trunk tray. This would work but be inconvenient for getting at the spare or removing the trunk tray to spray off. I guess I could also try to find some spots along the sides to put some anchors.
Anyone encountered this issue and how did you resolve?
Thanks in advance,
Jak
Opinions are appreciatted.
Thanks
thanks
1) Add an amplifier -- has anyone added an amp to the 2003 EX-V6 head unit?
2) Replace the speakers -- shouldn't be a problem
3) Add a hard-disk based MP3 player and/or satellite radio. There have been numerous posts with links to aux inputs -- has anyone installed and used these with a 2003 EX-V6 head unit? Are the connections to these internal, or external (so that I could use a portable MP3 and satellite receiver)?
So from the Pioneer receiver I have an adapter to convert Pioneer digital I/O to RCA - RCA cable to the Soundgate adapter - adapter straight into the Head Unit. I guess if you wanted both satellite and MP3, you could probably work out some kind of RCA switch somewhere. Or modulate one of the two (not as nice of an option). I seem to recall reading on a different board (different site & mostly about the Pilot) someone who had included some kind of switching for their multiple add-on sources. Hope this helps.

I added velcro on the left side of the console compartment to keep the MP3 player in one place.
One nice addition is a coiled "extension cord" that makes it easy to pull the unit out of the storage area and put it back easily without fooling with the (uncoiled cord).
Awesome vehicle. Awesome sound system.

mounting that speaker to the door. How and where
did you mount it? So....you have TWO speaker grilles showing on the door? One being the disconnected OEM speaker and the other being the
newly mounted speaker. If so, does this look a
bit "unusual.?"
Thanks in advance for the info...
The AM reception I would imagine is much worse in the EX because of the "in window antennae" which looks better(IMHO) than a mast antennae sticking out somewhere, but has been known to get worse reception. I'll have to try out my AM one day... (6disc changer is nice... haven't even played FM yet.. =oP... )
BTW, if you disconnect the HU connector does the climate control still work?
I have an 03 Accord LX. I have the Ivory interior and would really like to add the birdseye trim to the door switches and the center pocket/shifter area. I can't seem to find the birdseye door switch trim anywhere to order, but I've seen SEVERAL pictures of it. Any ideas?
Thanks...
6cyl GVWR is 4300lbs.
Gives you about 900 lbs. So add the weight of the hitch/carrier(probably about 100lbs or so) add the weight of the 3 people in the vehicle plus all the other stuff, and hopefully you will have the extra ~150lbs for the bikes. I would imagine if Honda found out, you may not qualify for suspension warranty as overloading the rear suspension will cause the struts to wear out sooner. Try and check with your local honda dealer.
You will not find any HIDs for the 2003 Accord. They have to be designed into a vehicle nowadays, not added on.

The silver stars are decent lights, but not if they only last 9 months.
