thanks! Another question...had perfect credit score when I leased my 2012 Rogue, but on two occasions last year forgot to pay one of my credit cards and now my credit score has gone down. Any way to find out the differences in MF on credit levels? Debating doing it myself or getting a cosigner.

Anything above 700 gets you the top tier MF. Tier 4 (680-699) is .00057, tier 5 (660-679) is .00099 and it gets worse from there...

I back again. I have negotiated another deal and am going tomorrow to write up the agreement if you all say ok!

MSRP is at least $32,080 (dealer doesn't have car in his stock, he needs to locate it so true MSRP may be slightly higher because of floor mats and other little things)

We don't have a solid selling price, that I've seen, though he has guaranteed me the following...

12k/36mo lease
$389 per month including taxes (RI 7%) and fees
$389 down (first month payment) and out the door!

I mentioned previously I had a trade with $5700 positive equity. We didn't incorporate that into the lease deal, he's just cutting me a check for my $5700.....

what do you think?

Without knowing the selling price (or, better yet, the cap cost with all fees included), it's hard to fully evaluate your deal.

Im having a bit of an argument with a dealer on a 2015 Rogue S.

The msrp is $24175 and sale price is $20188.  With 0 down, Im getting $193 +tax with .00024 and 58% on several calculators.  Dealer says its $240 + tax.  Whats correct?

Where did your numbers come from?
What is your term and mileage?

Actually the numbers were .00003 and 56%.  Its 36 month and 12k miles.  I actually get $202 + tax.

Hmmm -- I get $186/mo + tax with those numbers.

I would ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - if it's higher than the selling price, find out what's been added.

Everyone says something different but Ive been told tire fee and miscellaneous dmv fee(not registration).  The numbers dont seem to matter.  The dealers have created a trust and decided on not going under a certain monthly payment.

Thanks! What credit score is necessary for that ridiculously low MF? What's cut off and MF for next tier?
I'm worried about long term CVT issues but like the car and figure it'll be fine under warranty.

700+ gets you the best MF.

Next tier is 680-699, and the MF jumps to .00036.

Can anyone list the MF and residuals on a 2016 SV AWD w/premium pkg, 36/12k in NYC?

Was at a dealer getting service on my '13 Altima today and they tried to get me to turn in my lease early (up in May) for a 2015 SV with a $310 payment. Doesn't include the premium pkg or anything else besides the base SV and wouldn't give me a breakdown. I know them eating the 1200 or so left on my lease is a factor. But, I didn't like that I wasn't given a print out so I could see the numbers. Plus, I was gonna wait till January anyway and try and get into the 2016. Figure I'd start prepping my numbers now. Thanks all.

I ask as I don't know if I should wait till Feb/March to start looking for something  or see what kind they can do Nowish to early December with buying out the remaining 4 months on my lease.

Nissan generally comes out with new numbers monthly, but they don't all necessarily change.

You'll probably get a better deal - and a better lease payment - on the 2015, but I don't know the specific changes in equipment from year to year that might make the 2016 more palatable.

So this may seem like a stupid question but I honestly can't find the answer. 

Took the numbers I got here and went to the dealer I have my lease with and they aren't giving me a deal at all. In fact they keep stating it is a "steal" to be paying 310 a month for a base 2015 SV. Maybe for the 2016 but not the '15 without even the premium package. And that includes my lease loyalty discount apparently. 

Anyhow, question is, can I go to another Nissan dealer and see if they will give me a better deal and buy out the lease? Or am I stuck waiting till lease end, turning the car in at this place, and then shopping around to other dealers.

You can go to any Nissan dealer and try to make your best deal. You may be better served trying to do much of the legwork via email.

Yeah. I'm thinking of taking my lunch hour tomorrow and sending out emails to a bunch of dealers in the 5 boroughs. This is my first time doing this; are dealers good about giving numbers through email? I remember even when I first did my lease everyone wanted me to "come in".

I'm sure you'll get a bunch of "come on down" replies, but if you use the pricing tools here at Edmunds ("make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page) to set a price you want and offer it to them, they'll take you more seriously.

Subtract 1% from the residual value. MF stays the same.

I get the same numbers as the dealer. Only way to improve on the payment is to get a better selling price.
