I spoke with a few dealers the past couple of days and most were kind of nasty (that's NY for you I guess). They were condescending and pretty much stated that I can't expect that good of a deal since I have 5 lease payments left. One dealer seemed
promising though. Told me Nissan can wave up to two lease payments and depending on if there is any positive equity in my car, he may be able
to eat the remaining three. In addition, I'm a grad student so that helps as well. Said I was looking at about 25600 dealer price for an AWD 2016 SV with premium Pkg, tax, dealer fees, dmv extra.  Pre tax payments looked about 289 a month. Depending on how it goes with the remaining lease payments and what extra I get for being a student, will see what it ends up at. They need to inspect my car to make sure it's in good condition before we move further. I have an appointment Saturday so we will see. Dude seems sure he can get me in at under 310 monthly total.

Keep us posted ... and don't feel pressured to sign anything you aren't comfortable with.

Thanks so much for the support here. Funny thing, 2 dealers who were nasty called me this morning saying they can work something out. I said no thanks. I'm meeting with two tomorrow, one claiming to be the top Nissan dealer in the country, Nissan of Garden City. Say they will beat any price and have no issues going over full numbers but again, need my car evaluated to see how to proceed. When I mentioned I know what MF and residuals were, they said it was nice to see someone who did their homework. Confirmed .00083 and 59%. Also confirmed incentives and 2 lease payments waved. I'm hopeful but also more than fine with walking away.

The smart dealers don't play games and appreciate customers who know the numbers -- if you can agree on a selling price, the deal should be pretty easy to complete.

Looking for MF/Residual for 2016 SL AWD in MN. I was quoted MSRP $31,145 and selling price of $29,400.

Thank you. We were quoted $351/mo for 12k/yr with a residual of $16,500. Doesn't seem like a very good deal if I am doing the math correctly?

I get $329/mo.+tax, so not far off, though residual should be about $19K, if it's for 36 months, 12K/yr

So after going to three dealers in person, I pulled the trigger. 

2016 SV AWD
premium pkg
chrome bumper
floor mats
splash guards 
all season mats thrown in

MSRP 29060
Invoice 27336 includes bank fee and 675 rebate applied 
OTD 28118 includes NYS taxes and gov fees
due at sign: 1st month and DMV fees totaling 595

Payment is 326 each month. I think my numbers came to around 323 so I feel like I got a good deal for the exact car I wanted. Keeping in mind they ate 3 remaining  lease payments after Nissan forgave two right off the bat. Thoughts?

Thanks for all the info! It was super valuable, and helped me make sure the dealer wasn't hiding extra charges in places. I knew exactly what to look for, what charges a lease entails, and by using the TMV tool, knew what the average price paid was. I'm super happy that I came in below average, and have all the bells and whistles I wanted in a car. Plus I'm driving a brand new SUV for only $73 more a month than my 3 year old base
model Altima. This forum is truly the most useful place to seek out when in the market to lease a Rogue.
