.00130 and 61% for 39 months 12,000 miles per year. Add 1% for 10K. 36 month residuals are 1% worse than 39 month numbers in January.

Can someone share what the current MF and residual are (both with 7 MSD and without)

Also what would a good lease payment be with all fees and tax rolled into the payment?  NJ tax and they are saying 1700 in fees including acquisition fee.

.00130 is the base MF (.00081 after 7 MSD) and 62% for 39/10.

We would need to know the net cap cost in order to model a payment for you.

Residual value $30,347 (61%. Is this dollar value correct? I don't get that when I run the numbers).

Monthly payment $500.64 + tax (CA 9%) $43.99 = $544.63

Drive off is $3500 for MSD and first payment = $4394.64

Are these numbers correct? Any suggestions on lowering my payment? Can I negotiate down the selling price or is $5000 off MSRP considered a pretty good deal. My pre-tax payment matches yours to the penny, but when I apply the 9% tax, the payment goes to $545.70, so about $1 more than your quote.

$5K off sticker is pretty good - normally, a 4-6% discount is what we advise folks to shoot for.

I don't have any information on the Tier II discount.

How can I confirm I am offered all the dealer incentives?
What are my options or what else should I make sure I know if I am looking to pay for the entire lease upfront?

All the Gran Coupes have the same numbers - .00130 and 62% for 36/12.

No idea what will happen with the numbers next month.

Yes, I would expect the residual on a new 2016 to be higher than that on a leftover 2015. By how much, I don't know.

I'm trying to figure out the Edmunds lease calculator, but when I use it to simulate the BMW Special Offer it comes up much higher. Can you tell me why?

I'm using the current add for a 428 IX Gran Coupe, 48,650, 62% residual, .0013 money factor, $795 acquisition fee, $3,000 deposit, 10,000 miles, and taking off $1,000 for the Innovations Credit. However, instead of $429 on BMW's site I'm coming up with $556 on Edmunds.

I was just trying to get it to work off the MSRP to make sure I was using it correctly. So I used 48,650. Chaging the money factor by .00001 wouldn't account for that payment difference, so I must be using this incorrectly somehow (or misunderstanding the standard BMW offer).

To calculate a lease, you need to know the CAP cost, which includes the selling price + other costs rolled into the lease minus downpayments and rebates.. You can't compare, unless you have all the variables.

On the BMW advertised lease on this model, they assume a dealer discount of $1525, in addition to the $1000 credit and $3000 cap cost reduction.

5-7% off MSRP before incentives is a good deal on a new BMW.

Short of moving to another state, I don't have any suggestions for you on the Texas sales tax issue. I've heard from others on these discussions that some makes and dealers will offer a sales tax credit to help ease the pain; you can talk to your local dealer(s) about that.

BMW offers Owners Choice, which is, I believe, a balloon payment program.

I have learned a bit to know that it is the balloon payment program, but what I am not sure of is how the interest rates are tied to either a lease or a traditional finance. I have been told it is set up separately than the traditional financing, but I am not sure if that is being said to get me to back off of a 3.5% interest rate.

Thanks. I pulled the trigger. They got me a little on the interest rate @ 3.5%, but I got the car at invoice, less $2k for a the innovations credit + a USAA member credit.

I am happy with the deal, mostly because I feel good about the price but also because it was the exact color and options combo I wanted without the wait of a new build.
