Honda doesn't offer 10,000 mile leases; 12,000 miles is the lowest we have data for.

LX - .00040 and 63%

All other trim levels use the standard MF of .00165
EX - 63%
EX-L (w/o Nav) - 62%
EX-L (w/ Nav) - 60%
Touring - 59%

If 10K leases are available where you live (and they might be), add 1% to the residuals listed above.

I am currently negotiating a Honda lease for a CRV- EX (AWD) with a MSRP of 27,675 and a selling price of 25,100. The selling price does not include destination and doc or TTL. Just wondering where to go from here? I would like a $300 dollar a month payment if possible and no money down. Looking in Northern CA. Have two dealers nearby and this is the best selling price so far. Suggestions for how to get the payment down other than lowering selling price? And is this a good deal as is?

I can wait till the end of the month for a drop in price.

There are only two variables in a lease - the selling price and the MF. The MF on the EX is .00165; Honda dealer can, but very rarely, mark it up.

You will have to pay some of the costs of the lease up front - bank fee, doc fee, tags and license costs, along with the first payment.

What lease term and how many miles a year are you looking for?

Is this a lease? If so, the tax is irrelevant, as that's not how tax is calculated on a lease.
Plus, a lease will have a $595 acq.fee.

Find a dealer who will break down all of the numbers for a lease, so you know what you are paying for.

Closed on LX AWD 3/12000 lease. I couldn't quite get the deal I posted above as the dealer deemed it "too aggresive." I spent 1/2 a day at the dealer negotiating and waiting for the car to be prepped.

Here is the gist of the deal. 35 months x $276 (NY 8.875% sales tax included) with $17x.xx in registration fees, etc. paid up front.

I am assuming when the dealers send back the break down they will add the $595 acquistion fee. Does that fee get added to the sale price? Or is it a paid up front cost? Also, are there any other fees I should be looking for when they break the lease down? Thanks!

You can pay the fees up front or add them to the selling price - your choice.

Why does the Touring have a significantly lower residual value and higher MF than LX/EX?

That MF translates to 3.9% for the Touring vs 0.9% for the LX, which seems real high interest rate in these days of zero interest rate policy at the fed.

I also don't understand how Touring with more features has a lower residual (59% vs. 63%) or depreciates more than the LX or EX. I would think the Touring would hold value more given more features.

Are these residual and MF still accurate and apply to state of VA?

Honda numbers are national.

Higher trim levels often have lower residuals - the technology moves so fast that in 3 years what's current today is outdated by the end of the lease.

The LX MF is a promotion to move that trim level.

I have no idea how you are getting good deals on the CRV. Test drove an EX today, and loved it. With 0 down, 36 months and 12K miles they quoted me 421.00 month? What in the heck?

I suppose it depends on the selling price you are able to negotiate. Every $1000 off sticker reduces your pre-tax payment about $28/mo.

And, what state is this? Tax obligations on a lease vary greatly from state to state.

This is in Indiana.  Zero down and by the looks of it a bad deal.  They were going to give me an OK deal on my trade but asked if they money was going to any down payment.

This is everything from the ad. I do not know the MF nor the cap cost. Is this a good deal or it can be negotiated lower?

You can do better than the advertised deal with some decent negotiating.

Yes, your tax and license obligation is in addition to the other up front costs. Yes, you can roll the taxes into the lease payment if you choose. DMV costs are due at signing.

Hello folks, I appreciate any info about RV and MF for a 36 months (12k per year) lease in New Hampshire for
CR-V EX AWD and EX-L AWD as well.

I currently have a 2012 EX AWD with a maturing lease in 30 days and I an in the market for a 2015.

I was also in hopes of getting some equity since the 2012 still with 30k miles and outstanding condition, tips will be really appreciated.

.00165 and 63% EX or 62% EX-L

if you are turning in a lease you won't have any equity. If you trade it in you might - call Honda finance and get the payoff value, then head over to the real world trade in values discussion to get a sense of what it might be worth. Might have equity; might not.

Thank you Michael, I appreciate the quick reply, the turning in date will be October 15th and the payoff is $16.700. So far I have 3 good quotes (did not mention it will be a lease) around $25.100 plus doc fees for a new EX AWD. I am in hopes of negotiating a zero down lease with a decent monylhy payment on the same dealer I leased it since they can make a grant or two on my actual CRV. I have done that in the past on a trade of a leased 2011 pilot for a 2013 CRV
I am not sure if worth the trouble but least case scenario I was thinking in paying off the 2012 myself and than look for a new lease negotiation with the car paid off.

I get about $346/mo. with those numbers.
But, we only show the .00040 MF applicable to the LX model.

Of course, your quote doesn't mention money due at signing or taxes, either.
