    Hi, I'm looking to do a lease deal for my daughter for a 2015 Accord Sedan EX-L w/o navi. I'm also going to ask them to price the same car with navi (because she needs it!). Anyway, I'm interested in finding out the residual and MF on the this car for December and any dealer cash/incentives running at this time. Thank you in advance for your help.

    Honda's program from November runs through the end of the year.

    .00051 MF and 55% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr. 53% residual for NAV model. $500 lease cash.

    It would be much cheaper to buy her a Garmin or a windshield mount for her smartphone than to lease the NAV model.

    I have the following quote for 2015  accord EX-L from Westport Honda in CT and would like to know your opinion. Have not visited any dealership yet.

    $25187 selling price including destination charge
    $399 documentation fee
    $185 DMV
    $0 lifetime powertrain warranty
    $1625 for sales tax
    ---------------------------------
    $27396 OTD price

    Two questions I have are

    1) Do you think I can get the better car price than this in December? I asked for $25000. Or am I unrealistic in asking this price? So far all dealers have rejected it.

    2) do you know what is the value of lifetime power training  warranty (can go to any Honda dealership in US)? How much is it worth?

    @aigochamaloh which dealership?

    When you request free quotes through Edmunds, do the dealers see each other's competing quotes?

    Yup, dealers don't see each other's quotes.

    I got my car at Spreen Honda. We also bought our CR-V there a couple years ago and they blew away everyone else as well straight out of the gate. I didn't have to even bring up my other price quote.

    Price on the car itself was $21,123. CA 8% tax and fees, was $23,174.99 OTD.

    Just picked up a 2015 Accord Sport 6spd sedan and wondering how I did.

    I live in NJ and bought it at a NJ dealer. (I guess deals here are not as good as the rest of the country?)

    MSRP = 24685 (23865 + 820 destination)
    Invoice: 22662
    Out the door: 23600 (This includes tax(1503), doc fee(369), registration/title fee(248), and tire fee(7.50)).

    Just wanted to add my numbers to the thread so others can negotiate with confidence. Please note, this is a manual and I'm in So Cal.

    2015 Accord Sport MT 4dr

    Invoice: 20,779.00
    Doc fee: 80.00
    Tax: 1,877.32
    DMV: 244.75
    State fee: 29.00
    ===============
    OTD 23,010.07

    Wrapped this up in a day, start to finish. A couple emails in the afternoon and about 2hrs over at Norm Reeves in Cerritos. Jeff Aoki over there was a great guy and very straightforward to deal with.

    Good luck to everybody.

    Closed the deal on my daughter's lease last night and wanted to share the experience. She is leasing a 2015 Accord EX-L sedan. We went with no navigation because the residuals are better on cars with no navi. (is this because at auction it doesn't say whether a car has navigation or not?)

    MSRP: $29,240 (inc. destination)
    Invoice: $26,817 (inc. destination)
    Sale Price: $25,966 + 820 destination fee = $26,786
    Trade In Allowance: -$500
    Net Cap Cost: $26,286
    Fees/Out the door: $1,220

    Residual value on this car was 57% and MF was 0.00041.

    How'd I do?

    The initial quote they gave was around $200 higher, but I went in and at final paperwork, it came OTD like that. I did zero haggling. The car wasn't even at the dealership, it was in transit and I picked it up the next day. I have no idea how they did it, but like I said, they did the same when we bought our CRV in 2011. They blew everyone out of the water by a large margin.

    During my last car purchase a few years ago, I got talked into getting a $700 theft insurance. It seemed like a good deal at the time but in retrospect it was money wasted.

    Can you share the name of your salesman, and if possible include more details of the sales contract? I am hoping to get the same dealer to sell one to me at the same price. I heard that Spreen Honda is notorious for adding accessories. So it was good that you got your car before it arrived at their lot for the added accessories.

    @tellmethebest

    Give me your thoughts on my post over in the 2014 CRV forum.

    Poster was deciding between 2014 used CRV model with 2500 miles at 2600 below invoice or a new 2015 model.

    @jrw118,

    2014 CRV, EXL, awd.................... Invoice price = 27,335

    Take your time don't rush this deal. Work the numbers on both years maybe take a day to think about it after collecting all the info.

    2635 below dealers invoice price on the 2014 opposed to a 2015 model at what price.? you should be able to go lower on the 2014...... Its a used vehicle ( pre-owned) and not a new one. This could work in your favor pricewise. If you plan on keeping the 2014 model 6 or more years I would consider the price difference between model years. Don't forget to subtract the dealers doc fee charge from your $2635. You always want to know dealers doc fee's prior to making dealer a offer. thus making it a wash on the bill of sale.

    And Don't forget the 2015 model has been refreshed you may like that look better..

    Below is only hypotheticals, nothing more at this point. Just something to think about with a 2014 MODEL.

    In the event of a Totaled or Stolen vehicle with your 2014 model after Jan,1st, 2015.

    How much has that model depreciated on a 1yr old CRV with 2500 miles or more.?

    Does your below invoice price on the 2014 model offset the loss?

    Is your Ins. deductible 500 or 1000 dollars. That deduct. amount gets taken off the top of the vehicles price value if vehicle is stolen or totaled.

    I would want 3000 dollars below dealers invoice at the minimum on the 2014, Used Crv vehicle for me to consider buying it this month. But that's just me.

    If I'm buying a 2015 model there are some area's selling CRV's at 1k below dealers invoice. That now does seem attractive also.

    Hope I confused you enough to think about it. .....................lol

    I am planning to buy a Honda Accord Sport 2015 (or 2014 if there is a big price difference) in Seattle, WA. (I stay in Issaquah 98029).

    Your target price range to buy a 2015 model Accord this month should be between Invoice price to 1k below. Email all your targeted dealerships the last 4 days of this month with your target price telling each dealer that your price gets the immediate sale today.

    Your numbers are wrong.

    Invoice price on a 2015 sport = 22,572 plus destination of 820= ................$ 23,392

    Minus 1000 off the 23,392 price and make your best deal working back towards invoice price if 1k below is not do-able in your area.

    End of Dec, is the best time to buy so hold out till the very end. Be firm with your target price for a immediate sale.

    Your tags, taxes, and dealers doc fee charge are excluded from above Invoice price .

    Every state will vary with OTD price. Someone in NY or MD could care less what your OTD price is? Only buyers in WA may be interested. That's why when posting in here : Agreed Selling price , Dealers doc fee charge, And was destination charge included........ are what's important to post.

    Every State and every Honda dealership work off the same Invoice price.

    Its a very good deal. The best to date on a 2015 model. By waiting till months end and getting as many dealerships involved as far as your willing to travel to will help you make the best possible deal. Your negotiating skills pitting one dealer against the next along with dealerships sales incentives is what will help or hurt you getting a better deal. I can't predict.

    Your are at the top end of a great price on a 2015. Dealer wants the sale at 2k below dealers invoice. Work on 3 or 4 free oil changes, have dealer throw in some accessories like season mats, splash guards, cargo tray etc. if you cant go any lower on this deal

    Darn I forgot to ask for oil changes....do you think it's too late to call them up and ask for it after taking delivery of the car?
