Any advice on the deal being advertised by Toyota right now?  Sienna LE for $259 a month, $3143 down, 36 month 12k lease. Purchase price at end of lease is $18,608. Those are the advertised numbers. I am a total newbie on leasing but from the numbers I'm running through various buy/lease calculators it seems like a pretty good deal....?

Nah, it's just OK. You can do better negotiating yourself.

And, we don't recommend money down on a lease; if the van is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Residual is applied to the MSRP - bottom line number on the window sticker (including destination).

54% for 36/15. Add 2% for 12K. Toyota doesn't have a percentage for anything above 15K; you'll have to buy the miles up front, at a cost of .10-.25 per mile.

Three different tiers between 660 and 700 ranging from .00011 to .00146; what is your specific score?

Hi and thanks for all the helpful information. Looking at a 2015 Sienna, XLE in Nebraska/Iowa area dealerships. Tier1 credit and was hoping to get a 36 month lease, 12k per year, nothing down at $350-$360 per month (before taxes).....do you think it's possible?

Cap R=1,000

Residual=57

tax=6.00%

Total payment w/ tax =368.01

Any ideas on where I went wrong? Also on trade ins; what's the dealer cost to "certify" the car for resale?

If I use $33,307 as the net cap cost (sell price - rebate/cap reduction), then I get $366/mo with tax; pretty close to your calculations.

Find out from the dealer what net cap cost they are using; if it's higher than what we've used, find out what's been added to it.

Was able to close on a 2015 Sienna XLE, with floor matts and door sill protectors - $800 down (came from a trade in of my previous leased car) plus first months payment. Essentially traded my old leased car for a new one and lowered my payments $40 with nothing out of pocket other than my first payment.

$369.00 per month (36k/12k) including tax -Tier1. Dealer was great and easy to work with.

Really appreciate the help and information the website provides....thank you.

Looking at a 2015 XLE lease of 36/12 in Indiana. The XLE has the $750 navigation piece added on (maybe the floor mats as well charge, can't recall)

msrp: 37205
selling price: 32890

With 0 down at signing (also including first months payment in it), they are saying 399 (377 + tax). They gave me this price after running "the numbers" just the first time. Looking to see if this is a good deal or if I have anymore room to negotiate

They also had another XLE minus the navigation for 383. Just looking to see how either of these fair.

Unfortunately, we don't have the residuals for TFS.

But, your quote seems pretty darned good, relative to MSRP.

Would need to know the amount of the fees in order to model a payment. Using the MSRP and selling price provided, I get a payment of $403/mo + tax.

Dealer has quoted me 2 yr 12k miles for 887 down $479 a month which seems pretty high. I havent gotten into details of the numbers with him on MSRP etc.
