 The only way to know that is to take your wife to the dealer and let her look at and drive both of them

Looking for lease cash (I am assuming this refers to incentives that can be obtained currently), residual value, and money factor with credit score of 710-720. Looking at 36 months with 12,000 miles. Thanks!

Can you also provide an estimate of what the monthly lease payments would be for the above with $3000 trade and $3000 down payment. TrueCar price for above configuration is $42,019 and I guess the tax rate is 7.5%. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks again!

To calculate a payment, the MSRP and selling price are both needed.

I get $460/mo plus tax with those prices. GA taxes the entire sales price, even for a lease.

Thanks! I got an updated lease quote from the dealer. They haven't gone down much from MSRP to Selling price because they have to transfer the car from another out of state dealer. Here are the details:

2016 Sorento SXL V6 AWD with Tech package, Remote start, Interior lighting and Puddle Lights.
36 months/12k miles, Residual = 56%, 0.00075 MF and $3000 Lease cash in GA.

MSRP = 47,810.00
Selling Price = 45,248
Acquisition Fee = 595
Dealer Fee = 699

I believe taxes charged are 3543.83 and Title and Registration = 118.50.

Trade In = 3000
Downpayment = 3000

Monthly lease payment per quote = $444.61

I get $452/mo (selling price plus taxes and fees, less trade in, down payment and lease cash), so pretty close to your quote.

I would, however, recommend against using trade equity and a cash down payment to lower the payment - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Thanks for the update! They said Gap insurance is included in this price so I am protected. Can you help me understand if that will pay for the difference between the amount that my auto insurance will pay and the price of the car if stolen or totaled? Appreciate any input you can provide. Thanks!

Gap insurance covers the remaining lease payments, not recoup any money put down (either cash out of pocket or trade equity).

With the help of this forum, I leased an EX for my wife back in December. Now with the incredible lease cash on the SXL, I am wondering if the numbers are workable on the SXL. It depends on the residual and money factor as well as the payoff on the EX. Please post MF, residual and lease cash for Georgia:

My apologies; I was looking at the 24 month grid. Dealer is correct on the lease cash for the three lease terms.

MF and residual rates for the SXL - assuming FWD?

24/12 - .00125 and 59%
36/12 - .00136 and 54%
48/12 - .00143 and 47%

Looking at Optima and Sorento. I just posted in Optima forum. Looking at SX & SXL, both 2-seat 2.0T FWD, at 36/12. If lease cash is much better at 24/12, may consider that too. Thanks @Michaell.

Edit, I just remembered SX is v6 only. Let's add EX 2.0T to the mix and also quote SX v6.
