We don't have the specific numbers for NY/NJ/CT.

However, the rest of the country is showing $1500 lease cash, so no reason to think it's any different where you are.

Just completed my 1st ever lease deal here in Miami. I think I got a good deal, not great, but good. Could anyone please advise as to how I did? The details of a 36 mo./ 12k lease on a '16 Sorento EX-V6 (basic options, only w/ floor mats) are:
- PAID $900 INCEPTION, INLCUDING 1ST MONTH, TAG,TITLE, FEES
- $339.98 P/MONTH WITH TAXES AND "WEAR & TEAR" COVERAGE (UP TO $5000 COVERED NO DEDUCTIBLE) INCLUDED

I feel like I could've done better on monthly payments, but feel good about the $900 paid at signing. Any thoughts?

NET CAP COST: $29,487
That's about 10.5% under MSRP; $3,458 difference. Good enough??? I haven't been to a dealership in 12 yrs, so I'm guessing I did alright.

Yes, that is a good discount from sticker, considering the 9% tax in PA.

The two are very similar, but I would recommend that you test drive both and form your own opinions of them.

Guys just a general question does anyone have a strong do or don't opinion on leasing FWD vs AWD in MA. We're mostly driving in the vicinity of Boston with couple of occasional trips to NH in the winter months

Can't speak to Boston but here in Colorado, I've managed to live here 20+ years without AWD in my primary vehicle.

My wife, OTOH, demands AWD in what she drives, but we live in the suburbs and the snow can get pretty thick. We tell ourselves there are only about 10 days a year where you 'need' AWD. I suspect the same is true in Boston.

If the roads are well taken care of, no real need for AWD. But, it may be difficult finding FWD SUV's in that part of the country.

Residuals are slightly better for AWD models.

With those prices and the lease numbers of .00024 and 53%, I get $510/mo with 10% tax added in. Your deal looks pretty good by comparison.

Dont know much about how lease prices are created, especially with all that was spoken about in this thread regarding MF and residual.

We are interested in the EX V6 with premium package, MSRP of $35,800. We are located in southern CA and are previous lessees of a 2013 SX Sorento with lease ending in 3 months. Dealer's offer is to waive final 3 lease payments as part of loyalty program for our current car. Current cash rebates from Kia total $2500 for us, and with 0 down and $1000 drive off for 1st month payment/ registration/ fees, the offer including tax was 374$ per month (39 month lease). After offering $2k down on top of $1k drive off, dealer dropped monthly cost including tax to $309. Would you say this is a good deal? Husband and I both have good credit (700+ and 800+). Priced at below invoice to $33,669 if I'm not mistaken.

We really enjoyed our 2013 SX and read that the new 2016 model has a bit smoother and quiter ride with a bit more trunk cargo space when third row is in use. And the EX w/Premium has good features for the price (compared to the Pilot, Flex, and Traverse that we looked at).

We're inclined to think we'd be getting a good deal but never sure with these things! Any comments would be appreciated.

Well... normally, I don't like putting extra down on a lease, but $2000 down should only save you about $51/mo.+tax. If the payment is $65/mo. lower, they must have cut some price, as well.

Assuming FWD, the numbers are .00114 MF and 57% residual for 39mo, 12K/yr (you don't give your mileage allowance). $2000 lease cash.

Without exact numbers, it's hard to calculate a lease payment... but, your deal seems reasonable.
