Ummm - you are rolling in $2,990 in negative equity plus putting $3,000 down?  Something's not kosher.  What's with the negative equity?  Can you wait until it is at least even before you trade?

I'm looking for payments to be less then 250.

I realize that this is a stretch at best. i currently have a lease on an infinite that is due next month.

with the dealer incentives and the new leasing that just came out, is it possible to archive that or should i hold out a bit longer?

$250/mo is a bit aggressive. Read back through the last few pages of this discussion to see what others have been able to negotiate.

At some point, leasing will stop on the 2015's (I suspect when inventory levels get low enough).

The lease was for 39 months. I was able to get them down a bit on price, the residual was 51%, the MF was .00018. Monthly came out to be $507. This was in CT with 7%

I just negotiated this deal.

2015 Q50 base, 39 month lease at 10,000 miles a year. $4000 out of pocket out the door including all taxes and fees. $210 a month.

Should the $4000 include the first months payment? Is this a good deal?

I don't know what the $4000 includes .. but, I'll bet the dealer can tell you.

What was the MSRP and selling price?

I am buying from MD but they are supposed to include VA tax rate. I asked the dealer if the $4000 includes first months payment. With good credit, I should be fine.

That could be a problem .. MD applies sales tax to the entire selling price of the car; VA taxes the sum of the monthly payments. I'd double check the tax issues going across state borders before signing a deal.

I think VA taxes the full price, as well.. only it's a lower rate (6% for MD vs. 4.17% for VA.. or something close).

Can someone give me some insight how the MSD works? How much does it reduce your payment? And at the lease end to they keep any of the money?

MSD allows you to "buy down" the MF by making a security deposit in the amount of the monthly payment, rounded up to the next highest $50.

Not sure how many are allowed or how much the MF is reduced, but Infiniti has a minimum MF of .00005
