This deal is with zero down paymentt. $0 drive off.
If the Gross CAP is $47380 and the negative equity is -$2891, how is the net CAP cost $47,358? Where did the negative equity go to? Or, is the lease cash paying off the negative equity?
If you can get $526/mo.+tax on a $52K MSRP car, and also bury negative equity of $2900, then that's a good deal.
I am in Georgia, and the Lexus has a December to Remember program. The ads said for a MSRP 52,045 GS350, they offer $409 monthly payment for 36 months, 10K miles with $1,999 downpay. It includes delivery, processing and handling.
My question, is it a good offer? What the residual be in GA for 36/10K and what is the MF?

Isn't the first payment complimentary? Do they still require you to put that down? That's not a bad deal tho. I am also trying to convince the wife to go from a 2016 RX350 to a 2015 GS350 with Mark Levinson because the new RXs are going at MSRP and its ridiculous.

thank you for all your help
We have most of the info we need.. A straight adjusted CAP cost would be nice, but we can figure that out.
1) Even though you are making a first payment, it's still covered. It's in that $5993 rebate.
2) If we add the sale price + acq.fee + gov fees + doc fee (shew.. $799!), then subtract the rebate, we get a CAP cost of $46,333. That results in a payment of approx $468/mo.+tax, or about $496/mo. That's very close to your quote.
3) The total tax line is for informational purposes. The tax is actually collected monthly on each payment, in Florida. That's why I didn't include it in the CAP cost.
Looks like a good deal with no markups. Just add that doc fee on to the sale price to get the true selling price of the vehicle. It's a very good deal.

Looking to release another GS350 F-sport and looking at a 2015 model due to the 4500 incentive.(Currently have a 2013 GS350 F-Sport coming off of lease end on month) Stopped by a local dealer and they provided some figures and not sure they look all that great. I also have a few questions regarding MSD's, base MF, 1st comp payment as I reviewed on several posts. I will ask post them with lease number they provided. based on 24 months, 10k yr
MSRP: $ 57,685 Rebate: $5062.69 ($4500, 562.89) Residual 64% MF: .00070 ( showed me the Lexus Dec rate sheet since I stated it was .00065 ) Sales tax: 8.1 % Cap cost/sell: $51,796 Monthy Payment w/ 8.1% tax $562.89
No fees rolled into payment. that would be paid out of pocket (Doc,Aq..etc)
MSD's: Stated Lexus stopped a year or so ago accepting MSD's?? 1st month Complimentary: They did not mention this and I see it appears they added a 1st month payment to the rebate cost to achieve the $5062.69
The deal does not look all that great. Looking for some input.. Many Thanks

The MF could be .00070. The two regions we show are .00053 and .00065, but both of those are regional specials discounted from the base rate.
What you don't have is the NET Cap cost, after rebate reductions. If $51,796 is the selling price, and the $4500 incentive is subtracted, I get a payment of about $492/mo.+tax, or about $532/mo. That's about a $700 difference. Part of that could be tax on the rebate.
Lexus still has an MSD program.
Yes, the complimentary 1st payment is achieved by the extra rebate.
You could save $60/mo. by going with the 36 month lease.
Can I get the residuals and MF for 2015 GS350 F Sport for Southern California for 36/10K and 36/12K?
When negotiating the price of the car we should take into consideration the $4500 discount plus any other discount they might typically have on the car correct? So on a car with MSRP of $57K can we expect to get a selling price down to $50K-$51K in SoCal?

How do you know which money factor to use? I am in the Southern California area looking to lease a 2015 GS F Sport for 36/12. Does that mean I am looking at a 57% residual and a 0.00053 MF?
Also, what is the MF reduction per MSD? And how many does Lexus allow you to get?

We don't have the West Coast regional numbers.. The money factor will be somewhere between .00053 and .00070. When dealers mark up money factors, it tends to be a lot, so if you are within that range, it's most likely the base number. 57% residual is correct for 36/12

That is a great deal you got there. Did you had to go back and forth to get that selling price on the car or it was afford to you from the beginning? Did you do it through the internet sales department? So they collected your monthly taxes ahead of time correct?
How come your net price is $46,650? Isn't $44,040+$1397+$213 = $45,650. Where did the extra $1000 get added to net price? Was this the $700 acq fee and taxes on the rebate?
So the $455 payment is without tax correct since they already collected all the 36 month taxes ahead of time and added it to cap cost?

Purchase price question: I need help. Shouldn't my offer start from TMV price (which is a few hundred dollars more than the invoice) minus the incentive ($4500)? MSRP $54580 Invoice $50800 TMV $51342 TMV-4500=$46842
A dealer in Maryland offered at $50000 (plus tax, title, and dealer processing fee), which is basically $4500 less than the MSRP.

I also have a few questions regarding MSD's, base MF, 1st comp payment as I reviewed on several posts. I will ask post them with lease number they provided. based on 24 months, 10k yr
MSRP: $ 57,685
Rebate: $5062.69 ($4500, 562.89)
Residual 64%
MF: .00070 ( showed me the Lexus Dec rate sheet since I stated it was .00065 )
Sales tax: 8.1 %
Cap cost/sell: $51,796
Monthy Payment w/ 8.1% tax $562.89
No fees rolled into payment. that would be paid out of pocket (Doc,Aq..etc)
MSD's: Stated Lexus stopped a year or so ago accepting MSD's??
1st month Complimentary: They did not mention this and I see it appears they added a 1st month payment to the rebate cost to achieve the $5062.69
The deal does not look all that great. Looking for some input.. Many Thanks

When negotiating the price of the car we should take into consideration the $4500 discount plus any other discount they might typically have on the car correct? So on a car with MSRP of $57K can we expect to get a selling price down to $50K-$51K in SoCal?
Yes, use the $4500 lease cash to negotiate your best deal. Read back through the last page or two of posts to see what others have been able to achieve. We don't track selling prices.

Using your numbers and the base MF of .00060, I get $443/mo after 8% tax is added.
Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - if higher than the selling price, ask them what they've added.

Also, what is the MF reduction per MSD? And how many does Lexus allow you to get?
Thanks in advance!
Lexus MSD: .00008 per deposit X 9 max.

MSRP $56,280
Discount/Rebate $12,240 Adjusted Price - $44,040
3% tax, $1,397 (North Carolina), plus $213 in other fees and taxes
Net price - $46,650
Going to Atlanta to get it (saved a bunch)
Zero down/ zero out of pocket
36 months / 12K per year
$455 month
How come your net price is $46,650? Isn't $44,040+$1397+$213 = $45,650. Where did the extra $1000 get added to net price? Was this the $700 acq fee and taxes on the rebate?
So the $455 payment is without tax correct since they already collected all the 36 month taxes ahead of time and added it to cap cost?

Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - if higher than the selling price, ask them what they've added.
The dealer is saying net cap cost being used is $47,621 and MF being used is 0.00090. So the net cost has an additional $1121 added to the vehicle price. Also MF seems high to what you have been quoting. Is that base here in SoCal or are they adding on to it?

Find out what the $1121 represents ... and yes, the MF can be marked up for extra profit.

Shouldn't my offer start from TMV price (which is a few hundred dollars more than the invoice) minus the incentive ($4500)?
MSRP $54580
Invoice $50800
TMV $51342
TMV-4500=$46842
A dealer in Maryland offered at $50000 (plus tax, title, and dealer processing fee), which is basically $4500 less than the MSRP.
