It would, to the tune of about $14/mo or so, but not sure that you should count it as a credit, just that you're not paying it.

Thanks again Michael. You had mentioned $1800 in fees. Did that include the first months payment?  When I calculate the fees, I get around $1200 ($700 acquisition plus $500 title, license, and reg). If so, I'm thinking that lowers it by another $500 or $600 from your estimate. Or is there maybe some other cost I'm missing?

Could you share where did you get the price? MF should be .00060 though. Was this in Florida?

what kind of savings off the MSRP is a good goal to try to get to negotiate the final deal
not including the $2300 rebate from Lexus and first month $600 I have seen posts that say they got anywhere from $3700 to $7500 off

Dealer in South Florida is saying the MF is .00075 up to 48 months. According to the posts here is .00060. Are they just trying to make extra $$?

It's possible. Lexus has regional rates for leases .... and, we don't have all the regional data available.

Check with other dealers in your area.

I guess it doesn't really make much sense to lease one of these past 15k miles/year, since past that point you are effectively just paying the standard mileage penalty (20 cents/mile) up front, rather than at the end of the lease. Might as well take your chances, with the possibility that you might drive less than 18K per year. You really wouldn't have anything to lose.

I agree... but, check it out.... It might be $0.20 mile reduction upfront, or $0.30/mi. on the back end. I'm not that familiar with their program. It could be different for more expensive models.

Numbers are the same as for July (in fact, the documents we have show an expiration date of 9/8/15).

I was just offered a lease payment of 641/month for the GS F Sport with some additional extras that listed at 58,700. The terms were 36mo and I only put $1000 down. The residual is 34,727, and it is for 10k/yr miles. Does this payment seem a little high or is this is good deal.

What is the negotiated selling price? What state and tax rate?

The lease numbers are .00060 and $2300 lease cash, and 61% residual.

I get $611/mo with tax using those numbers. Double check the net cap cost; the dealer may also have inflated the MF for a bit of extra profit.

Sorry I probably wasn't clear. The price was 53350 plus 4741 (fees etc) due at signing minus 2941 rebates and 1000 down. The rest is in the payment which is 641.85 x35 payments.

MSRP of $60,260 - Mark Levinson / Heads Up Display / One Touch Power Trunk / Blind Spot / Preferred Accessory Pkg / Lexus Dynamic Handling System, Parking Assist and Tinted Windows.

Adjusted / Net Cap Cost of $53,467.97 - includes all fees / 2 Payments Rolled in the new lease for $1,300, all scheduled maintenance for the duration of the lease and $650 cash I put down.

Res Value of $37361.20

Payment of $592.35 ($556.20 + 36.15 Tax). 12K / 33 months - First Payment Covered by Lexus so 32 remaining.

.00060 and 67% for 24/10. Using your MSRP and adjusted prices, I get a pre-tax payment of $634.16/mo.

If you've signed the paperwork and taken delivery, I'm not certain the dealer will allow you to re-write the contract to incorporate MSDs. If they do, each MSD will bring the MF down by .00008. Maximum 9 MSDs are allowed, but the minimum MF allowed by Lexus is .00005, I believe.

Looking to lease a 2015 GS 350 F Sport in Florida... according to them the MF is 0.00075, can you confirm? They are charging $700 acquisition fee and another $799 fee... I believe its a dealer fee. Is it customary to charge such a dealer fee especially that high?

That does look like the correct MF for the Southern region.
$700 acquisition fee is standard for Lexus
$799 fee is just a dealer fee.. Sadly, most Florida dealerships of all makes have somehow made it normal to charge exorbitant dealer fees. Not sure how they've managed that, but you should be very aggressive on the selling price to make up for it.

Thanks Kyfdx, I was astonished at this dealer fee but if its legit then ok..... yes I managed to bring the selling price down just below $49k to make up for it. They are also charging a $498 for doc fees which seems steep as well.

Wait ... what? Usually the dealer fee or the doc fee are two different names that represent the same thing. You are saying that there is a $799 dealer fee AND a $498 doc fee?

According to the sales rep yes... that $498 fee sounds fishy to me. That is the only thing keeping me from making the deal... I'm also asking to wave the first payment but he hasn't agreed to it... He is giving me a great discount(final negotiated price of $48,600 for F Sport, Nav, Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring) but he mentioned those three fees.... $700, $799, and $498. I had asked him what the fees were and those are the three he mentioned but the $498 seems fishy.

Uh, Lexus is running a promotion where the first payment is complimentary. And there is $2300 lease cash on the GS this month as well.

Might want to reach out to another dealer - the competition between them should help you secure the best deal.

Still seems sketchy ... the dealer fee is usually meant to cover the overhead costs of the dealership.

Call another Lexus dealer and ask them what their fees are.
