Title + reg + plate transfer I'm estimating $95 Doc Fees I'm estimating $300 (unless someone has lower numbers I should use here, I know it is made up)
I want to pay only first month's payment at signing, so cap cost reduction at $0.
I'm getting $330.36 per month for 36 months. Is this accurate?

I get the same payment with your numbers. However, tax isn't applied to the monthly payment in NJ - it is calculated against the sum of the payments for the entire lease term and collected up front. I think it works out to the same monthly payment if you add the tax to the selling price.
You also have to account for the acquisition fee, which for Hyundai is $595.

Thanks for checking my work! Is the acquisition fee same as the destination fee already included in the MSRP from hyundai's website? Or is this purely for lease origination.

The bank fee is separate from the destination charge - the destination is part of the MSRP against which the residual is calculated. The acquisition fee is charged by the bank and is not negotiable.
I am looking at a Lease for 2016 Tucson AWD Limited with Ultimate package in Virginia.
This is the deal so far
MSRP $35,095 Cap Cost $30,647 Residual 58% Money Factor 0.00088 12,000 miles per yer $3,000 Initial Down plus $300 1st payment, total $3,300 due at signing. All fees are rolled into payments.
Does this sound like a ok, good, great, or fantastic deal?
Ive never owned a Hyundai and I am concerned for the residual value. I want to maybe sell it to carmax at end of lease and see if I can get some of my down payment back. This is a 12k miles a year deal for 36 months and usually I drive maybe 8K miles a year. Can you guys help me clear my concerns.

.00088 MF and 58% residual. $750 lease cash
At that CAP cost, I get $330/mo. You payment looks lower than it should be. Is $30,647 the final adjusted CAP cost?
If you only drive 8K mi/yr, then get a 10K/yr lease. Residual will go up to 59%, and the payment will drop by about $9/mo.
I wouldn't lease this vehicle, if the plan is to sell it for more than the residual. Seems unlikely
Went to dealer looking for Santa Fe Sport, but they are really pushing this car. They told me • MSRP = $35,465 • Cap Cost = $27,808.20 • Residual = 55% • MF = .00179 • Monthly pmt = $334.23 • Due at signing $887.83 (tax, title, fees, 1st pmt, etc.)
Again, just looking to confirm. Any other incentives available in SE Michigan? Thanks for your help.

That doesn't match any of the numbers we have.
We show .00088 MF and 58% residual. $750 lease cash
I wonder if they are using someone else other than Hyundai Finance. The lease variable don't look as good, but it might come with a big rebate, because that CAP cost is very, very low.
$887 upfront and $334 looks really cheap. With your numbers, I get $315/mo.+tax, so pretty close.
What lease terms deal should I be aiming for for a 2016 Tucson Limited - 10K miles/year - 36 month lease in Rhode Island? The lease would be done through a business.
- The MSRP of the car is $35,465.
I debating between the2016 Tucson Limited and the 2016 Mazda CX5 GT, but I am thinking that with the 2017 Tucson coming up, I might be able to get a better deal on the 2016 Tucson.

It looks like the numbers are significantly better. The dealer called me today very motivated. Any updates in regards to July numbers? I am in Rhode Island. Thank you!

When you say $0 cash in, that means $0 out of pocket at lease signing?
Michaell, I'm guessing the July #s still aren't available yet? Sorry for being impatient...I turn my Sonata back in on the 20th so am just a getting a bit antsy

If so, seems like a decent deal.
I am at $395 including tax $0 out of pocket at signing... but I plugged these numbers in the edmund's lease payment calculator and to make the numbers add, there has to be $925 in additional fees, aside from the $595 acquisition fee. Registration fees are typically $150 in RI. What other fees should I be considering and what are the typical $$ associated to those? Thank you! This forum has been very helpful.

Dealer fee?
Probably have to ask the dealer for a full accounting.
The residual value they listed on a 10,000 mile lease is $19,525 (57%) with a payment of $434.89 with $0 down. Residual seems a little lower than I anticipated for 10k/3yr and the MF seems a bit high by my calculation?
Any idea of what to expect for a 12k/3yr lease instead?

Be curious how you managed to deal with the negative equity in your Elantra; I've got an Elantra GT with only a few months left on the lease. Just now starting to think about my next purchase or lease.
Thanks I told my rep that they can make money for just one transaction , not both and I stand On my world that I just pay $260 , he said it is not possible but 2 days after he came back and said if you take a car from Stock we can make it happen .
