I see on the Hyundai site there is a deal for 24 months on this Tucson, does that make a 24 month similar price to a 36? Also does that deal apply to all the trims? I'm trying to get 24 or 36 with 18,000 miles a year on the Sport of Limited in Orlando, FL. Also one dealer told me they would put me at 15,000 lease and write it in to the contract that as long as I got another vehicle from Hyundai at the end of the lease they would not charge me for the mileage, has anyone ever heard of this?

You'd have to run the numbers to see if a 24 month term is better than 36.
All trims are eligible for 24 month terms this month.
Extra miles are generally deducted from the 15k residual on a per mile basis.
If it were me, I'd be leery of a deal where extra miles are "forgiven" if a new lease is established. What happens if your ownership experience is so poor that you don't want to get into another Hyundai? You'd then be on the hook for the mileage charge.
Dealers will do or say almost anything to get you to sign a deal.
Is this a good deal? 36 month/10k miles, 0 down 2016 Tuscon Ltd with ultimate package. Bought in Massachussets but NYC resident for taxes. MSRP: 35,365 cap cost: 30,550 +sales tax $1,094.75+dealer/state fees $474=total price of 32,118.45 RV: 59% MF: .00088 lease: $392.92/mo.
Took delivery on a silver FWD Eco at 36/15 this morning (in FL). For background, I've used a lease broker for my last few cars. After finding these forums and reading up more on leases a few months ago, I realize I could probably do a bit better if I negotiated with the dealer myself, but going through the broker eliminates all the headaches of actually having to make any contact with dealers, which I've come to value highly.
Didn't do as well as maverick on his Eco, but still pretty happy with the deal overall:

only other fee is $400 disposition fee.
thoughts?
I get $359/mo with those numbers. I confirm the MF and residual, so the total price must be different.
Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer; I don't see the bank fee of $595 mentioned anywhere.
Thanks Michael. They listed it separately from the cap cost but said about $1,250 in drive off fees, so I guess that accounts for the discrepancy and the $392.92/month.
It is good if they put it in writing, because While I was signing my Paperworks another customer wanted to lease her car and she drove 132K and she allowed 45K. she mentioned manager told her she can Drive as much as I she like , but they want to charge her , it was almost $16K for extra Mile and the interesting part was she wanted to lease another car with all of these Neg Equity , I overheard what she talk but She wanted to lease again with NEG Equity which didn't make sense since I think she lose less money if she purchase /trade in that car. but be careful , you hear a lots of Word from Dealers , but when you read the HMF contract it has everything listed for Extra millage and ETC.

This may be a silly question, but for Hyundai's $500 owner incentive, would that apply to people currently leasing a Hyundai or is strictly people who purchased a Hyundai?

My guess is that it is a loyalty incentive, meaning you must already have a Hyundai registered to someone who lives at the address you are using for your transaction.
We're negotiating with a dealer on the lease of a 2016 Tucson Limited AWD. For a 36/15k lease the dealer is claiming Hyundai Motor Financing is charging a money factor of .00128 and they have no way to lower that rate.
From what I've seen here the money factor for a 36/15k lease should be .00088. Is it safe to assume the dealer is marking up the money factor?

Limited AWD numbers are .00088 and 56%.
Dealer can mark up the MF .00040. Do the math.
Be polite and inform them you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF; they know what the base rate is. And, reach out to other dealers. Only takes one to meet your terms.
Hello I need help figuring out if this makes any sense...
Rhode Island 2016 Tucson AWD Limited with Unlimited Package 10k miles / 36 mo MSRP: $35,845
Initial Offer: Selling Price: $31,600 RV: 20,750.30 Rebates: $750 Cash Upfront: $0 $397.45 per month including tax and registration
My credit is not great so once they ran my credit the interest rate increased. (Expected). The money factor was increased to .00188. I asked the dealership to run the numbers and tell me how much money down would maintain my monthly payments under $400 and they came up with $2,000. However I am not sure the numbers name sense...I am not sure if I am misscalculating something but I am under the impression than the numbers where inflated somewhere else.

I did my calculations and was hoping to get to $395 with the higher interest rate by putting $1,000 upfront...
Thank in advance for your help!
Residual is 59%. For the residual to be the dollar amount you gave, then the MSRP has to be $35,170, not $35,845.
.00188 is the correct MF for Tier 5, which is two steps below the best rate of .00088. You have a lot of numbers, but it isn't exactly clear what is in the CAP cost and what isn't. Do you have the adjusted CAP cost?
Thanks so much. They also mentioned $1,250 in drive off fees. Did not break down what those were, but they keep saying those are rolled into the monthly payments and nothing due at signing.
I am presuming acquisition fee and possibly some other fees?
That said, the $393 seems to be a good price based on what others have indicated for a comparable model and features, no?

I would ask for the breakdown of the fees. Yes, acquisition fee is included, but could also be junk fees from the dealer.

Hmmm I am not sure now...do rebates go towards the Adjusted CAP? Their numbers were Sale Price: $31,600 Rebate: $750

to to respond to your question to me, the cost changed a bit as they had to find the limited with ultimate in ruby wine and came with certain extra equipment. MSRP is 35,710 and agreed upon 32,600. comes to 393.73/month. Have 1650 in incentives but they are applying it to first months payment and something called a tax on red (they said something specific to New York) so contract shows cap cost reduction as 1149.27. Does that make sense? Seems shady as that will impact costs.
other fees are 250 for title and registration, 595 acquisition fee and 299 doc fee. Are these all legit?

NY calculates the sales tax against the sum of the payments, and collects that amount up front. You can use the incentives to cover that amount, along with the other up front costs (all of which are legit, BTW).
The number we need is the adjusted cap cost, which is the agreed upon selling price plus any taxes or fees you are not paying up front.
Also, how do I confirm the interest rate I was actually charged on the contract? We are Tier 1, so want to make sure it was using the .0088 MF I was quoted.

The MF is rarely disclosed on a contract .. you'll have to take the MSRP, adjusted cap cost, residual and lease term and plug them into your own calculator with the base MF to see if your payment matches what the dealer is showing.
Thanks. Adjusted cap cost is 33849.17. They have the gross cap cost as 34998.44 which is the 32600 plus the taxes and fees I mentioned which are all rolled into the monthly.
that is where I am confused. How can I have 1650 in rebates but only list 1149.27 as my cap cost reduction?

Amounts paid upfront are taxed upfront. So, any CAP cost reduction or rebate is taxed. Also, acquisition fees, etc. (except for non-taxable amounts like title and registration).

Relative to MSRP, I think you did fine.
And, all leases have a disposition fee - but you only pay it if you turn the car in at the end of the lease.
I just traded my Hyundai lease two months early for a VW - no disposition fee.

Also, does RI tax the monthly payment? If so, we should see a base payment + monthly tax somewhere.

that is where I am confused. How can I have 1650 in rebates but only list 1149.27 as my cap cost reduction?

Could you please help with the RV and MF for a 36/12K lease for August in 30041 (GA) for a 2016 Tuscon Limited (FWD) with Ultimate Package and also one without Ultimate package? Thanks
Ultimate package has no effect on numbers.

And, all leases have a disposition fee - but you only pay it if you turn the car in at the end of the lease.
I just traded my Hyundai lease two months early for a VW - no disposition fee.

Hi. What in the MF and residual for 2016 Sport FWD, 36/12 and 36/15, in 76012 (TX)?.
Also, what is the credit tier breakdown for HMF?
