I'm in Cambridge, MA. Looking at a 2016 Forester Limited with bumper guards and trim as extras. The sales guy said MSRP is $28,600 and that monthly lease on a 36/12 would be $350. Seemed pretty high given what I'm reading here. What would be the appropriate price?

We don't track selling prices; use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools.

Negotiate your best selling price and ensure the dealer doesn't mark up the MF.

I suspect that the difference in MF and residual across the trims allows the payment to be roughly equivalent.

Higher trim levels almost always have a lower residual; this isn't just a Subaru thing.

Hello, could I have the Apr numbers for CVT base and premium please? I'm in Washington. 36/10K. 

We got a quote last night but missed the 3/31 deadline, do you foresee Apr becoming cheaper? We will try to get the same deal or better today but also afraid dealers now have less incentive to sell, since they've just finished month end yesterday... 

The deal we had was on 25i CVT package 1, MSRP $24326, sale price $21790, MF 0.0017, RV 66.7%. Does it sound like a good deal?

However, there are up front fees you'll be responsible for - or, you can add them to the selling price.

That's assuming the dealers use SMF. In New England, you never know.

Assuming the TMV price is your cap cost, and you're paying all the up front costs out of pocket when you sign the paperwork, I get a pre-tax payment of $342/mo for 36/15 or $325/mo for 36/12.

I felt like it was a good deal so I bit and I drove off in it today....

The tax portion was the actual tax that was calculated with tax for the total payment...
