The bigger the discount you can get from sticker, the lower your lease payment will be.

Residual is calculated from MSRP.

Yes, those are 2015 model numbers.

2016 Tiguan S: .00001 MF and 61% residual for 36/12. $750 lease cash. Add 1% for 10K/yr.

Conquest Cash should be additional with the lease program.

I am beginning my dealer search for a 2016 vw tiguan r line awd. I live in north jersey and am looking to lease. With current offers What would be a good price for a 0 down lease 12k/36mo including all fees and taxes in price. I recieved 1 quote of 258/mo pre tax with 2350 down. 

Please let me know a good number so i can negotiate.

What is the MSRP? Looks like a pretty solid deal, though we don't recommend making a down payment. That money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled. Not making the down payment would increase your payment about $28/mo

Yes, residuals are set by the bank and cannot be modified by the dealer.

I was pricng out the Tiguan s and s 4motion, one dealer came back with 2500.00 down and 280.00 a month for 24 months + fee's for the S 4motion, another dealer came back to me with 2500.00 down and 139.99 a month for 24 months + fee's. Any feedback ?

We would need to know the MSRP, selling price and breakdown of the $2500 due at signing to make any sort of comment about the strength of the deals.

Is the $139.99/mo for the S FWD and the $280/mo for the 4Motion?

That isn't a quote; that is the advertised offer. $2499 down works out to an additional $70/mo, so the "true" payment is more like $209/mo, plus tax.

We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

They list the adjusted cap cost as $30,009.22

I don't really understand how they are applying the trade - I've used a few online lease calculators and keep coming up with a lower payment so I'm not sure if I'm missing something. On the print-out they gave me, they list the $3800 as "Amount Due at Start"

I get the same payment with your numbers.

I would find out if the trade is what is bringing the cap cost down; you should be able to negotiate a decent selling price excluding the trade.
