    MSRP: $59,350
    $3,831.37 due:
    Up front sales tax: $1849.91
Acquisition fee: $995 (after reading this forum, I see that this could come down to $795)
    License and Reg fee: $247.50
    Dealer document fee: $75
    Sales tax on items: $94.96

The GLE 400 gets the Standard money factor.

We don't know what that is, exactly, but we mostly see .00200-.00220.

    The GLE 350 has a .00081 MF

It would be much, much cheaper to lease.. exponentially cheaper.

Hi, I went to the dealer today for the 2016 gle 350 4 matic 26/12K
    msrp 62000
    selling price 54000
    final price 59000
    mf: 0.00081
    monthly payment: 734
    down payment:0

I asked him why the selling price is not the same as the net cap cost which is the final price, he told me there is acquisition fee, lease tax fee, blablabla, and I asked him these fee, he said he did not know........

    My question is:

    1. is the selling price should be the same as the final price?
    2. I am in sale tax free state, if I lease car here and register in this state, is there still a lease tax ?

    Thanks a lot!

    .00081 MF and 56% residual for 36/12.

    1) Not necessarily. For instance, the acquisition fee is $795.
    2) Which state do you live in, and which state are you shopping in? Generally, you pay sales tax on a lease in your own state, not where you acquire it.

There is no way the difference between selling price and final price should be $5000.

A quick Google search confirms that Delaware does not have a sales tax. However, the state charges a "document fee" of 3.75% on new car sales. So, in essence, a sales tax. Didn't dig into it too deeply, but it probably applies to the full purchase price. That's over $2000 on a vehicle of this price.

Either way, don't make a deal without the dealer disclosing and itemizing all charges.

The more mainstream the vehicle, the lower the MF tends to be. GLE and E-Class have been trending lower, lately.

    Hello,

    Looking at a 2016 Gle450 coupe with a $75565 price tag.
Qualified for "tier 1" during the credit check, but I am new to the whole leasing process.
And tips I should know for negotiating?
I live in NYC and looking at a 36/12 or 42/12 lease any residual or MF info available?

    Thanks

.00129 MF and 54%/50% residual for 36/42 months.

You want the lowest selling price possible.
$795 acquisition fee (they can mark it up to $1095)
They will also most likely try to mark up the money factor for extra profit. You want the base rate.
NYS doc fees are restricted to $75, so no issues with that.
Tax is collected upfront on the sum of the payments plus CAP cost reduction. You can roll that amount into the lease and pay it within the payments, if you wish.

With your MSRP and selling price, I get a payment of $719/mo with tax included.

This assumes you pay all fees up front.

The acquisition fee is marked up; base is $795.

I do not recommend the wear & tear package, but the maintenance package may be a good deal if the dealer adds the cost to the MSRP.

  • Hi,
Dealing now in S Florida, 2016 GLE 350 4matic, 36/12, MSRP 64110, 54 residual, .00194 mf. Have not finalized sell price. What should I see in MSRP reduction, and should I see mf closer to .00044?

    .00044 MF and 54% residual.

I can't help you with the selling price, but that kind of money factor markup could increase your payment by $140-$150 per month!!

Insist on the base rate, and before negotiating price, ask the dealer what their dealer/doc fee might be. The number may be shocking.

    Hi,

Can someone tell me if $1900 initial payment (first month, security, no down), $680/month would be a good deal on a 2016 gle350, MSRP of $64,000 in NY State?

    I'm giving back a 2014 e350 lease.

What is the MF and residual?

    Thanks!

    4Matic?

    .00044 and 54%.

Need to know the adjusted capitalized cost in order to model a payment.

And, a full breakdown of the $1900 due at signing would help, too.

Hi, I am in MA. I am looking for MF and residuals for 36/7.5k for an E3504matic. Can I get a lower MF for auto-pay? Also, if I have an AMA EAB form, does the cash back 1000 apply to me also? Thank you for your

    .00044 MF and 56% residual.

We hear that autopay reduces the money factor by .00010

    No clue on AMA EAB.

What do you think about this offer?

    MSRP: $60,870
    Discounted Price: $53,620 ($7250 off)
Term: 36 mos 15K miles yr
    Residual: 52%

$686.06 per mo for NJ Out of pocket is around $2222

Did anyone go with the 20" rim upgrade, its only $750 (Non AMG).

I get $648/mo with those numbers. Find out from the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is; if higher than the discounted price, find out what's been added.

And, what is the breakdown of the $2222?

    52% and .00044
