Hey guys, just got back from a local dealer and wanted to get your guys' opinions on what they offered me:
This is for a 2016 Accord Touring:
Sale price: 35,515 Adjusted price: 32,991
with a trade in for my 2012 Toyota Camry SE (they are giving me ~$13k) and $1,000 cash down, they offered me $343/month for 36/15k. What do you guys think?
MF is .00051 and residual is 51% (thanks to Michaell for the info)
I get $439/mo plus tax with those numbers. What is the adjusted cap cost when the trade and cash down are factored in?
Hey Michaell,
After the trade in is factored and taxes and fees, the final figure I have is $30,999.14

Hey Michaell,
After the trade in is factored and taxes and fees, the final figure I have is $30,999.14
That drops the payment to $383/mo. Still a bit of a gap to the payment quote you got.
@Michaell@tonyg2016 I'd like to send a big thank you to Michaell and Tony2016 for all of their help and input throughout my recent car leasing experience. You both helped me tremendously and equipped me with invaluable information that allowed me to secure a great deal. I went from 340/month with 500 out of pocket, to 303.60/month and 752 out of pocket, to 303/month with absolutely 0 out of pocket. (First payment only)
Final deal 2016 - Honda Accord Sport w/ Sensing 0 out of pocket 303/month 12,000M - 36 Months
Do You think this is a good deal… So Cal 2016 Accord Sedan Touring 36 month lease 12K/year zero at signing.. $435.00/month tax (9%) included.
Hard to say. What is the MSRP and the adjusted cap cost?
MSRP is $35415 I'd like to think the adjusted cap cost ends up being $32005 have not yet seen the actual final breakdown, but wanted to get some ideas before going in for the signing.
If this is a true "sign and drive" promotion, and all fees are rolled into the cap cost, with absolutely $0 out of pocket at signing, the MF is .00041 and the 36/12 residual is 51%.
Using your prices, I get about $445/mo including 9% tax. Your quote is right in the ballpark.
You're my Hero Michaell… just drove back with my new 2016 Accord 4 door Touring V6 absolute zero at signing for a 36/12 lease 35 payments of 399.29/month+tax=435.23/m so cal Adjusted Cap cost $31575.00 MSRP $35515.00 including destination and handling.

Looking for MF and residual on all 2016 Accord models with Honda sensing (i.e. Lx, ex, exl, touring). 36 month lease, 12k miles/year, in Washington state.
What are the numbers & incentives for April on 2016 Honda Accord LX & Sport 36/12, 39/12, & 36/10 in South Florida. If they have a 24 month program, can you provide numbers on that too, same trims. Thanks.

I saw earlier posts mention an additional $250 bonus lease cash on the LX, did that expire end of March? Do you anticipate numbers will improve or worsen after current program ends on April 4?

No... the bonus lease cash is still there.
Residuals are scheduled to be the same through April.
I would guess that money factors and lease cash will stay the same or improve. (key word: guess).
Can you please let me know the MF and RV for a 36/10k EX-L V6 with Navi and Sensing?
Currently leasing a EX-L V6 and the lease is almost up. (Location: NY/CT if it matters)
When I figure in the lease cash back & bonus cash (if any), I should reduce the net cap cost by those amounts and treat it like a trade-in allowance right?

54% and .00051. $1000 lease cash and $500 bonus lease cash.
You can use the lease cash incentives to reduce the cap cost or to offset the up front costs (acquisition fee, dealer fee, etc.)
Would anyone know what would be a good deal on a EX-L V6 with Navi and Sensing 36/12k lease? - NY/NJ/CT - Net Cap Cost? - Monthly Lease payment with nothing down? - Assume best credit rating

We don't track selling prices - but there is a very active "Accord Prices Paid" forum that can probably help.
Can you please let me know the MF and RV for a 36/15k EX-L V6 without sensing and nav in Missouri? Are the leasing incentives in Missouri $1000 and $500 bonus cash still?

Thanks in advance!
Honda does not offer 10K per year leases; following are the 36 month, 12,000 mile per year numbers:
.00051 and 57% for both trims.
$1000 lease cash and $250 bonus lease cash.
Thanks Michaell. Is lease cash just an incentive that is used for cap cost reduc?
The base lease cash is a dealer incentive. Use that knowledge to negotiate a lower price. Pretty sure that the "bonus lease cash" is a consumer incentive that will used to lower the CAP cost (but, they will probably include it, in any quote).
Quick question. Can i start the Basic Cap cost ( negotiated sale price the dealer is willing to sell car on Truecar.com) and then use $1000+500 you mentioned above to further drive down the Net Cap Cost?

Can't tell you what the TrueCar quote number includes or excludes in terms of incentives.
Discount seems reasonable, but I think it's ridiculous to charge $1600 for those dealer options right? I tried to push for a larger discount to make up for the dealer options I don't want but they won't budge. They don't have an Accord sport without any dealer add-ons either. Am I being too stubborn? Nitrogen and cargo tray, that's what, $60 total? Window tint $300 max. I fail to see how that amounts to $1600.

In addition to being overpriced, the accessories aren't subject to residual, so you're paying for 100% of that cost over the 3 year lease term. ($1600 / 36 = $44/mo)
Find another dealer that doesn't force the add-ons to the customer.
NYC area - Honda Accord Sport - $22065 sale price of car 12k/36m - NYS Taxes and all fees rolled in - $263.07 a month which includes Wheel Tire Insurance. Am only going to pay 1st Month and DMV. -- How is the deal?
Hi, subject car: 2016 White Honda Accord Touring w/ 25 miles on it.
this was my initial offer (numbers below) than i negotiated a bit and was given a 2nd offer for a lease (verbal and told that it could only be valid for 24 hrs and not on paper because it was "secret"). That 2nd offer was $4,000 down for a 36/15,000 lease @ 395/month
The numbers below are the ones on the quote sheet which stated a $3,000 down payment @ 599 (seems high). and unfortunately i do not have the numbers for the lower, 395/month offer.
main question is looking at the initial offer and then the 395 verbal offer, should I go with the 395/month offer after making sure numbers line up on paper?
MSRP: 34,680 Discount: 2689 Dealer options:149.00 (phantom foot prints anti theft) Freight/dest charge: 835 Total: 32975 no trade allowance trade diff: 32975 process fee: 599 Tax: 1,376 tag:69 va business tax: 57.08 net price: 35,077.36

thanks,
So, does the $34680 MSRP include destination? If so, then the discount isn't really $2689, because they are adding $835 back in for destination. I see a $599 process fee (which is just more money from you), but I don't see any allowance the $595 lease acquisition fee?
The 34680.00 is the MSRP. After the dealer "discount", the price drops to $31,991 and that's without the destination fee ($835). I am not trading anything. simply putting 3000-4000$ down.
How fair is this deal for a 36 month/12,000*(changed from 15,000) mile LEASE?

The destination fee is part of the MSRP.
We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.
Find out what the "adjusted capitalized cost" is - that will tell you (and us) if this is a good deal or not.
Leases don't use an "out the door" price - depending on what state you live in, the taxes for a lease are computed against the monthly payment or the sum of the payments.
The number you want from the dealer is the "adjusted" or "net" capitalized cost - selling price plus and fees and taxes, less any down payment.

This looks like a quote from West Broad Honda. The "Va business tax" is a crock of poo - should be included in their ridiculous processing fee.
