Thanks for the response Michaell. Here is what I got from my local dealer:

    Accord LX Accord Sport
    24 36 24 36
    MSRP 23,840 23,840 25,900 25,900
    Net Capitalized Cost 19,900 19,900 21,900 21,900
    Daily Money Factor 0.00038 0.00038 0.00038 0.00038
    Residual Value 15,019 13,589 16,892 14,763
    Monthly Taxes ~24 ~24 ~24 ~24
    Monthly Payment 278 233 325 280

Says it includes: $595 acquisition fee, $299 doc fee, and $4 title fee. Says all fees are included in the monthly given above. Only first month due at signing.

What do you think @Michaell ?

Looks like a very good deal. I'd take the 36 month term on the non-sensing model. No way I'm paying $47/mo. for that option.

Thanks for the response. They are both non-sensing models, one is the LX trim and the other Sport trim. Do the numbers on the Sport appear accurate? Also got the adjusted cap cost on both: LX $20798 and Sport $22500 in Kansas

Just picking out the LX at 36 months, I get $213/mo.+tax... so, not far off that $233/mo, I don't think.

The Sport has the same residual percentage as the LX, so I'm not sure why the payment should be that much higher. I get $229/mo.+tax on the Sport at 36 months. So, only $16+tax more. Why are they at $47/mo. more? If you like the Sport, I'd ask them to run the numbers on that one, again.

Thank you @kyfdx I was thinking that number on the Sport seemed quite high given the adj cap cost they provided. I have asked the finance manager to go over the numbers again. I will be sure to post back with more details

Hi there. I'm looking for the relevant known current leasing numbers for a 2016 Honda Accord LX (non-sensing) in Long Island, NY for a 36 month lease w/10k mile allowance.

I also have a few additional questions ( I'm very new to leasing but catching up quickly reading this and other forums)

    1. As far as a 10k vs 12k mileage allowance goes, I assume that would just affect the residual value ( ala less miles holds better value)?
    2. What's the purpose of a 39 month lease (vs a 36?) My mind thinks its a way for dealers to make monthly payments seem low (even though your paying 3 extra months over a 36-month lease.
    3. Another option to me is to wait 2 months before proceeding with leasing the car. Is there any reason to think the beginning of September would be a better time to lease the 2016? For example trying to time the arrival of the 2017 models and better deals available for the 2016 models?

    Thanks in advance.

.00038 MF and 58% residual. $1250 lease cash.

    1) We don't show a 10K/yr allowance with Honda, but we see plenty of NY area members getting it. 12K/yr residual is 1% lower, which adds about $8/mo. to your payment. If you think you might need the extra mileage, those are cheap miles.

    2) To lower the payment.

    3) Can't tell the future. Deals look pretty cheap now.

Thank you for the fast reply. One followup question on the lease cash number. I see lease cash mentioned in the forum but haven't found the comment yet that explains it in detail. Is there a FAQ somewhere on the topic? How is this related in any way to to the leasing bonus cash number being quoted currently on the incentives page on Edmunds (which is currently $250)? Is the $1250 lease cash number more of a manufacturer->dealer incentive which gives some wiggle room to the dealer to lower the cap cost to sweeten the deal?

    Cheers.

Yes, the lease cash is a manufacturer to dealer incentive, which the dealer can choose to pass along to the customer. The $250 that Edmunds shows is part of that $1250 total.

I have the accord sport and I can say I got one of the best deals on it...I know because I have only seen 1 or 2 people on here come as close as I did...

    I got a 39/10k lease

$235 a month is what it came out to without any out of pocket

I have a friend who thought he got a good deal on an Accord LX paying $300

If you have great credit you should be paying no more than $245 a month for the sport
39 month 10k with nothing out of pocket..I know it's down to 36 months lease but the lease cash is now $1250...

We don't show a "Special Edition" listed.

For 4-cylinder sedans, we have LX, Sport, EX and EX-L. With our Without Honda Sensing.

Also, would need term and mileage.

Thank you so much, I appreciate it greatly. By the way, the salesman did clarified about an Accord Sport Special Edition for 2017 and it will come with Leather unlike the Sport that only comes with cloth. Any chance there are lease numbers out there for 2017's?

I see on Weymouth Honda website a 57% residual for 36 month 12k on 2017 Sport SE. Based on other details they provide, I calculate MF at .0012, which is more than triple present MF for 2016 accords

They may be using a third party bank for their leases; we don't have those numbers, so cannot confirm what is published.

    What state is this?

If NY or NJ, better to roll the tax into the payment.

    NY.

Why is it better to roll the tax in?

    So option 2?

Is it in case the car is stolen or totaled?

    Do you like the deal?

    Thanks

I get the same payment. If you're comfortable with the selling price, no reason not to pull the trigger.

Any idea what they will be after 7/5? Trying to figure out if I should be now or wait and see how they are after. Also, do you recommend any dealers in the Chicago area? Thanks again!

No other dealerships come within $500 of selling price. And many are scared to match or beat it, they don't think it is legit. Do you think I could go lower?
