I realize the July month is all but done, but I had one dealer in PA tell me there is no $1850 lease cash on the 2016 Accord EXL for a 36 month, 10 or 12k lease.

When will we hear anything about the August incentives/programs? Tomorrow?

    It's a factory-to-dealer incentive. They likely won't disclose it.

The current program runs through September 6th.

Does that include tax? If so, what state and tax rate?
How much money due at signing?
    .00038 MF and 54% residual
Did they mention the adjusted CAP cost?

How much service do you get for a $550 service fee? ;)

Tax not included 277.76 before tax. No money due at signing. Adjusted Cap Cost 23,473.05. According to them the 550 service fee was for road service, tire protection and oil changes through out lease.

so the $550 OPTIONAL service fee covers the following:
    1. road service - under honda warranty for entire lease term
    2. tire protection - the sport model tire/wheel combo could cost 500 to replace if you ruin one on a pothole or such
    3. oil changes - six oil changes during 45k miles could cost 300 or so

if it was an LX i'd say NO but since it's a sport with the expensive wheels i might consider it at ~$16/mo

depending on doc and dmv fees, i think the base price of 277 is still about $15/mo too high

    what state are you in?
fees are a bit high but the monthly is good

    My experience

    2016 Accord Touring

    $1811 Down (Bank/DMV/Other Standard Fees)

10K Miles a year via HFS

    $369 with tax.

    18,100 Residual.

They wouldn't throw in All Season Mats. Bleh.

Insurance skyrocketed with Gieco, decided to dump them and go with Allstate. Doesn't pay to be a long standing customer with anyone (actually, it does, but for them, not you,) it's always a game of switching, whether insurance or Cable TV, etc.

What prices were used to get that payment?

Congrats and enjoy the new Accord!
    Thanks, ok, here's the breakdown:

    Agreed value: 29972
    Gross Cap: 31751
    Cap Cost Red: 1022
    Adj Cap: 30728
    Residual: 18112
    Depreciation: 12616.00
    Rent Charge: 668
    Total Base: 13284
Sales Tax (bundled in monthly payments): 1184.

The only touches I wish Honda would've done on the Touring would be:
    1. Illuminated started engine button the like the Pilot EX-L
    2. Preinstalled mud guards.
    3. Go back to matte, piano black glossy finish makes me uncomfortable having to be weary for keys and other people dropping phones and their stuff on it.
    4. Rear USB ports
    5. Rear HVAC control like the Pilot

quite a diff in the sell price from those 2 dealers!
the online quote from a boston dealer (as a comp only) is 244/mo, that is pre-tax and excludes doc and dmv

whatever you do, do not put a large down payment on ANY lease. have them cut you a check for the full price of your trade - you should get 4-5 estimates of what your trade is worth

    what is your time frame?

Yeah, i thought a big difference as well. I just contacted a third dealer. Meeting with them Thursday. He wants to run some numbers.

Ok, i would have never thought to ask them to cut a check instead of applying as trade. I thought about just selling to Carmax. Good idea? or no?

My local dealer said the deal was totally hinged on my trade, that it played a big factor.

My nissan dealer said that the signs of the bad transmission are still early, but it would be best to get rid of the vehicle as soon as possible. So i'm looking at purchasing in the next few weeks.

What is a reasonable down payment? First month, tags, title, reg fees, etc??

It's a good idea to get a quote from CarMax - helps keep the dealer honest when they give you a trade value.

    .00038 and 57%.

I get the same payment. I'd recommend against the $1200 cap reduction - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled. Better to increase the payment to $269/mo and reduce the up front costs to $937.

i don't see the sell price (assumed to be 24075) but it's too high anyway; there's 800 of slop in that deal!
    247/month for 35 months + (max 1100 out-the door)
    it is doable

    weymouth:
    msrp $27,215.00
Lease Price Please contact us for pricing! (they don't show it any more)
    Residual $15,240.40 (56% of MSRP)
    Monthly Lease Payment
    $244.00
    $244.00 including 0.00% MA tax

fyi, weymouth doesn't have a 10k lease option available (online anyway)

i smell a rat! trade or no trade - it's a lease and you should not apply ANY trade value to the lease.

I live in CA 93101, MSRP $26,684. dealer states 'my offer' is $25,900 Incl fees + $1,500 of negative equity. This equals $27,400 for adjusted cap cost.

    Hello,
Id like some insight on an offer I received.
    2016 Accord Sport
    36Mo/ 15K Mi a year, nothing down, $440/mo.

I have undesirable credit (617), and im rolling negative equity over ($1,500) from trading in an 07' G35 sedan.

.00038 and 54% for 36/15 and top tier credit.

Anything below 660 credit, and the MF jumps to .00141 (we think)

    $1350 total lease cash

What is the MSRP and adjusted cap cost (selling price + taxes and fees + negative equity)?
I live in CA 93101, MSRP $26,684. dealer states 'my offer' is $25,900 Incl fees + $1,500 of negative equity. This equals $27,400 for adjusted cap cost.
Hmmm, I think you can do better on the "offer". Check the Accord Prices Paid forum to see what others have been able to negotiate for a selling price. Should be able to get $3-4K off sticker, before adding in the fees and negative equity.

With your MSRP and adjusted cap cost, and using the .00141 MF, I get $420/mo before tax. So, $440 is probably in the ballpark.

But, I think you can do better. There's only one Honda dealer in Santa Barbara, correct? Try expanding your search both north and south (Ventura, Oxnard, SLO, etc.) and let the competition get you a better deal.

Can I get numbers on a 2016 EX-L Accord. Zip code 98405. 36/15K and 36/12K. Also when negotiating, if there is lease cash, do people typically mention it? I'm seeing numbers on the MSRP of about $29,505 with quotes a couple hundred under $25,000 so i can only assume it would include any lease cash. Thanks everyone for all this great information. ~S

What's residual on 2017 Honda accord sport w/ sensing?

Msrp $27,050. Selling price is $24,936. I'm in tier 4 credit category.

State of North Carolina,  also is lease cash applicable?

.00038 MF and 53%/55% residual. $1850 lease cash.

The lease cash is a dealer incentive. Most likely won't be disclosed, and you can be sure they have taken it into account when giving you a quote.

I think the MF is what's hurting you.

Have you considered an LX? Higher residual and lower MSRP will result in a lower payment.

Can you wait a few months and work to build up your credit score?

Did you transpose the numbers in the MF? It's .00038 this month.

I get $476/mo with tax, using your numbers.

What is the adjusted cap cost?

Why are you rolling in so much from your previous lease?
