I am interested in leasing a 2016 CLA250 coupes with basic package and blind spot identifier feature. I live in TX and plan to lease it for 36 months with 10K or 12K miles per year. What is the money factor and residual value for this car and what kind of discount will be available off MSRP? Are there any dealer incentives?
And above all what should i be paying as a lease amount per month to consider it to be a best deal!!!!

We don't have any lease numbers for the 2016 CLA, as of yet... Maybe in November.

Hi, any new updates. Do you have lease numbers for 2016 CLA. I have on order a CLA45, and would appreciate any details you may have on MF, and residuals. I think I read an older post from previous model year that the residual on a 7500 mile per year is higher than 12k per year over 36 months??? Is it still 60% for 7k and 58% for 12k?

I'll assume these are FWD as you are in LA.

.00148 and 60% for 36/15. Extra miles are purchased up front and are deducted from the calculated residual. Dealer can mark up the MF for extra profit.

We don't track selling prices - read back through the last page or two of this discussion to see what others have been able to negotiate.

In order to model the payment, we would need to know the cap cost (selling price + fees - down payment).

Up front costs include bank fee of $795 (dealer can mark up to $1095), first payment, dealer fees and DMV costs. That could easily be $2000.

Using .0022 for the MF, I get a payment of $668/mo.+tax

Those numbers look like estimates.. get the exact numbers. I'll guess the CAP cost is not what you have been given.

Florida is famous for outrageous dealer fees. Keep expanding your search area, until someone gives you the deal you want.

You could still lease the 2015's, here in FL the 15's have $500 rebate and the 16's have $1000.

15K/yr residuals are 62% for 24 months, 60% for 36 months. (you don't want 24 months)

Add 2% for 12K/yr

Thanks kyfdx for the number and advise. It looks like the new vehicle really depreciate the most on the first two years and hold up the value between year 2 and 3.

That's what the bean counters say - doesn't always work the same in the real world.

They are probably promoting 3 year leases by pumping up the residual.

I'm looking for the latest RV/MF for a '16 CLA250 FWD base model. 36 months 10k miles.Also what are the standard closing costs associated with a lease? Sounds like a $800 acquisition fee is about it? Are disposition fees standard or is usually reasonable to negotiate those down?

.00134 and 63% for 36/10.

Acquisition fee, dealer fee, first payment, DMV costs are usually due at signing.

Disposition fee is imposed by the bank and cannot be negotiated or waived.

I'm ready to close on a 2016 CLA250 Edition Orange. 750 sent to USA. I've been offered the standard residual of 63% for 36 and 39 months, with 10K miles/year, but no dealer in Houston will offer me better than .0023 MF. Am I getting screwed? Credit is good. Thanks!

Base MF is .00134, unless the Edition Orange is something special we don't know about.

Looks pretty clear. How do you only get $564 in tax, in Texas? They usually charge 6.25% sales tax on the full price of the car.

That money factor markup adds about $65/mo. to the monthly price.

You are correct. In Texas we have to pay 6.25% sales tax on the full sales price of the car up front. They rolled it into the lease and offset some of it with their Spring incentives from MB. Thanks again for all your help. We leased it last night.

BTW, the finance guy was in charge of upselling all the dealer add ons - he tried to get me to take almost $7K of stuff like wheel and paint protection. Sheesh. I passed.
