I would like to purchase a 2016 Touring Civic Sedan Black, black for a family member today.

I don't have to purchase it, no extreme circumstances. Today is just convenient and toward the end of the month.

I can pay cash, finance or lease.

    I've gathered:

    MSRP - $27,335
    Selling price - $24,598 - $25,260
    Mf- .000375
    Residual - 60%
    39/12

    In Texas

    Credit is no issue.

Lexus and Mercedes typically have had tax credits in the past. Does Honda?

    Am I off on anything?

    Thanks for the help.

None of those numbers are correct for Honda Finance.

    .00070 MF and 57% residual for 36/12 (55% for 39/12)

No idea on Texas tax credits for Honda. Check with the dealer.

So I thought the $232/mo was for an EX but I was wrong. Here is the breakdown for 2016 Honda Civic EX. Could someone tell me whether this is a good price? This is from Autonation Hollywood, in Hollywood, FL. All fees, tax, registration are rolled into the payment options shown below.

    Tire/Battery/MVWEA + $8.50
    Tag/Registration Fees (estimate) + $498.75
    Dealer Service Fee + $699.95
    Customer Deposit Edit
    Balance Due (estimate) $22,196.25

    Cash Down 36 months
    12,000 Miles
    $998 $235
    $1,500 $221
    $2,000 $206

    Thank you in advance!

    Boy, I just love AutoNation.

Sales tax on a lease in FL is calculated against the monthly payment, not against the selling price.

So, your "balance due" amount is wrong.

And, they don't reference the acquisition fee, which is mandatory.

36/12 on the EX is .00070 and 62%.

If I take out the sales tax from the deal, I get $230/mo plus tax, assuming you pay the first payment and acquisition fee up front.

    What is the MSRP?

You don't want to put money down on a lease - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

And, why 27 months? 36 months has a better payment.

There is a chance I may not remain at my current job. If that is the case, I would not need a car for such a long term.
I understand money down on a lease is a risk but I will take the chance because of my finances.

I'm aiming for $200 or $180 monthly payments.

I would like to get the residuals and money factor, looking at leasing a 2016 Civic Coupe LX-P, MSRP 21685, Cap Cost 19232 (discount plus $1k down). This is for New Hampshire. I have a calculator for leases. 36 months/ 12k miles per year. Top tier credit. Thanks!

Is there an acquisition fee? My math isn't adding up yet except the sales guy did say that they did not yet quote me the best money factor, so that might be part of it.

So let's say the acquisition fee $595. My first payment would be $595+$230 PLUS $230+$13.8(6% tax) for 35 months. Total I'd be paying is $9371.80

The deal I got is $998 first payment which include first month payment and $235/mo for 35 months. This price is everything rolled in. Total would be $9223.

Whether Autonation calculated it incorrectly or not as long as I end up paying $9223 total I think it is a great deal. Right??

    Hi!

I am looking for the MF and Residual for a Honda Civic Sedan with Honda Sensing. The lease will be for 36 months with 12K/year in So. Cal (91344). Are the numbers the same for the Sedan without the Honda Sensing?

    Thanks!

Okay so there wasn't a miscommunication with the 2016 Honda Civic EX as I originally thought. I would really appreciate it if someone could check these following numbers for me to see if I got a good deal in from Winter Haven, FL

    Selling price $19,015
    Residual 60%
    MF 0.0007
    Tax 7%

$235/mo for 35 months and $0 first payment. Everything including tax, new tag/registration, fees are rolled in. I will be paying a total of $8225 during the 36mo/12k lease.

    Is this a good deal?

Also, will the price go down even more during labor day weekend? Thank you!

So I leased a 2016 honda civic last month with MSRP 20,075. i got a deal for $210 with tax, which is for 15K/year. I realized that the 15K limit is actually way too much and i want to reduce it to 12k/year. Am i able to change this in the middle of the lease?

Also, how the heck did I get 210 with tax a month when I see everyone else getting 230-245? I didn't even negotiate, that was the first offer they gave me and i took it

No - it's a legal agreement - you will not be able to change the terms in the middle of the term. With less miles, you might have some positive equity at the end of the lease.

If you trade the car, you may be able to realize some equity.

But, you can't change the lease... just drive and enjoy.

    Hi,

I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if I know what I'm talking about. I'm currently looking to lease a Honda Civic Sedan LX or EX. I live in the NYC area. How do I know I'm getting a good deal. I understand that usually people don't pay the MSRP price but that's about it. I want to lease either the LX or EX for 36 months with either 10,000 or 12,000 miles per year. Is it worth it to put a down payment on a car? I know it decreases monthly payments but is it possible to keep monthly payments low without a down payment? So many questions but some guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I would suggest you begin your research by looking at the articles at this link:

The current Honda lease numbers expire today, so unless you plan on making a deal, I'll hold off sharing the numbers until the new ones are available. Hopefully, later this week.

I am not sure if the numbers change for different models, but I see people posting them so just in case; do you have the newest numbers for 24/36mo 12k mi for an EX-L (with and without nav if that makes a difference as well)? Any incentives for these as well? Thank you so much in advance.

    2016 Civic Ex MSRP $21,875 - negotiated $19,464
    $2,000 down
    residual 61% 36mths 12k
    monthly payment $200
    located in CT
when I plug the numbers into a lease calculator I get a lower monthly payment.

when I plug the numbers into a lease calculator I get a lower monthly payment.

.00070 MF. Confirm the adjusted cap cost - if higher than the negotiated price, find out what's been added or not covered from the $2000 due at signing.

MF/Residual for 36mo/15k on Civic Touring and Civic EX-L (with adjustments for trim levels) in Southern Cal please!

Potentially looking to lease with minimum drive-off, curious if this could be done around 3-400/mo.

Also are there any new unpublished dealer incentives? Thanks!

Looks like they added acquisition fee of $595 and dealer fee of $499 to the adjusted cap cost. What's a dealer fee?

    Does this make sense?
    2016 Civic Ex MSRP $21,875 - negotiated $19,464
    $2,000 down
    residual 61% 36mths 12k
    monthly payment $200

.00070 MF. Confirm the adjusted cap cost - if higher than the negotiated price, find out what's been added or not covered from the $2000 due at signing.

Dealer fee, unfortunately, is another way for them to profit off the customer. Ideally, you'd like to negotiate that fee away with a lower selling price.

The $1100 of fees will add about $30-31/mo before tax to the payment.
