65% and 5.50% for both trims.

For the SuperCrew, all trim levels have the same numbers.

Can't predict what will happen over the long holiday weekend.

Okay, hoping you can help me out a bit more here....

I went to the dealership tonight, ready and armed with the info provided here. I was looking at a 2016 KR 4x4 MSRP 62905 with an advertised incentive price of about 10K off. When the salesman went to run the numbers for a 36/15 he came back with $1250/mo w/o taxes. My jaw didn't hit the floor it shattered it...needless to say I was pissed that he thought I was moronic enough to even think about paying that for a 36 mo lease considering I could buy the car outright for about $8K more.

His explanation was that the 'incentives' were mostly for those who finance the truck versus lease and that the price he could give me the lease for was ~$60K, a mere $3K off sticker.

Now, if i run the calculator with an RV of .62 and MF of 4.5% I'm still showing $768 w/o taxes. So, reverse calculating I think he would have had to had the MF at 16% to be at $1250/mo w/o taxes.

So...after an hour or so I've calmed down a bit and have a few questions. 1) Is this typical that the incentives that Ford runs on these trucks are for buying only and that leases don't get the same rebates/discounts? 2) What are the "typical" fees that you pay up front that aren't factored into the lease? and 3) can you return a lease to a different dealership that you purchased it from when it is time to turn the lease in...for example, if i buy in VA but move to CA 1 year later and turn the lease in to a CA Ford dealership at the end of a 3 yr lease?

I know that's a bit much, so I appreciate your patience and feedback!

2) I assume Ford has an acquisition fee. Other fees are the same as if you were purchasing.
3) If the lease is through Ford Credit, you can probably turn it in to any Ford dealership that agrees to take it. Using your example, you might be paying more sales tax, though. In VA, they collect the tax upfront, but California taxes the monthly payment. Whether you pay the tax upfront, or roll it into the CAP cost, your resulting VA lease payment has no tax in the payment. Once you move to CA, the bank will start collecting CA tax on that payment monthly.

You are right about the calculations though.. The dealership was just trying to see if you were deficient in math skills.

Thanks for the reply. It seems as though if the incentives for these trucks aren't available for the lease one would be crazy to lease...you can finance for nearly the same amount. Again, appreciate the help, you guys have been a big help...I won't promise I'm done asking questions though

Looking for the MF and Residual on a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew 4x4 2.7L EcoBoost. I live in the WI. The dealer is quoting me $445 per month for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year.  The msrp is 46,925 including destination and delivery.

I'm seeing Memorial Day price leaders for F150's at $11,000 off MSRP. Some dealers have all their F150's marked down anywhere from $9,000 or more. Surprised that no one ever posts prices paid these days - and it's just lease questions.

Under our old forums software, it was easier to have a Prices Paid section, with all the discussions listed in alphabetical order.

While there are many improvements with the new software, keeping a list like that is no longer possible, and it's sort of killed the Prices Paid discussions.

For some reason, it hasn't hurt the Lease Questions discussion. (I think because it's hard to get this sort of info, otherwise).

Those numbers are correct for 36 months, 15,000 miles per year. Doubt they will get much better - Ford is selling every SuperCrew they can build.

No 2017 lease numbers available yet, but I doubt they will be much different.

I've been trying to shop for an F150 XLT Super Cab, 301a package, I built one on the ford website, and found a close match at a nearby dealer. I end up getting a no hassle quote on line for just under $31,000 which is about $8,000 under MSRP. When I ask for the OTD price I'm right back where I started at $39,000.
Calif Tax where I live is 9.5% - I've asked for a break down but was told I have to pay tax on the price before rebates. I still don't see how a 31,000 vehicle can balloon to $39,000 OTD Persoanlly I think I should shoot for $10k off MSRP and settle for nothing less than $9k off.
Anyone think $10k off MSRP on a $40,000 F150 is reasonable?

On a lease in CA, you only pay tax on the monthly rebates, as well as on any incentives.

If this is a purchase, ask for a breakdown of everything that takes the $31K selling price back up to $39K. Yes, tax is some of it, but only $3K or so. Dealer has another $5K to explain.

The dealer did apologize for forgetting to include $4,500 worth of rebates. The problem I'm having with figuring out price is by calculating what's reasonable asking price after all the factory incentives. There's even an on line form I filled out that gave me a 60 day $750 cash rebate on top of all the other rebates. It's really a dizzying amount of rebates and customer cash incentives including option package discounts finance discounts trade in incentives. I can't eve begin to figure out how to translate TrueCar pricing knowing what people paid including all the many discounts they offer. Here's what I've seen for the F150 XLT rebates; $2,250 Customer Cash, $2,000 Bonus cash, $300 2.7LV6 Cash, $500 Ford credit bonus, $750 on line cash (total of $5,800 in rebates and cash incentives) What's the invoice price for this truck? Used to be you could get the break down on Edmunds for MSRP and invoice, but I don't see that link anymore - I just get forwarded to the Ford website to build and price the vehicle and they don't tell you the invoice price.

You can still get the invoice by using the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page, it's just a lot harder to find than it used to be.

Once you enter that info, look down the left-hand side of the page for the box that says:
"Didn't find what you were looking for?", and click there.

With your user name, I'll assume you are in Florida.

If so, the 36/15 numbers are standard MF of 5-6% and 55%. Add 2% for 12k. Extra miles are charged at .15-.25 per mile and deducted from the 15k residual.
