So Residual and Money Factor goes up? I was thinking Residual could go down as it gets older.

Generally, but sometimes the opposite occurs if finance and marketing agree to increase it. Might help move more inventory.

Hello. I'm new here but considering leasing a 2016 Odyssey Touring. I'm in the Charlotte, NC area (28273).

Could anyone advise the MF and Residual for this vehicle? Any incentives (lease cash, etc) available right now? Also, dealer invoice if you have that available.

I am planning to lease Odyssey SE later this month or early next month in NJ. What is the current residual % and money factor for SE for 36mo//10k? What are the same numbers for 24/10?

Also when do the post Labor Day numbers come out? I am assuming it will be sometime this month. I can wait till the new numbers come out to see if it is worth waiting after Labor Day.

The current Honda programs run through 9/6, so the numbers quoted will be valid for the Labor Day weekend.

.00036 and 62% (24/10) or 56% (36/10) - that assumes that a 10K lease term is available. For most of the country it is not, but the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) seems to be different. If you have to take a 12K lease term, subtract 1% from the residuals provided. $1000 lease cash on the SE.

36/12 residual is 50%. Hondas don't lease well at 24 months
Also, no 10K/yr allowance for Honda.

I have a newbie question. I am looking at a 2016 Touring Elite with MSRP of 46925 and CAP of 41872 and was considering leasing for 36 months 12k miles per year. I have not gone to the dealership yet but I was just wondering - based on MF of .00036 and RV of 50% for 36/12k - what should be lease payments approximate?

Also - my state is MA where the tax is 6.75%. Based on my calculations on the edmunds calculator - the lease payments should be $571.xx ?

and most importantly - do i need to negotiate the MF and Residuals with the dealer - sorry for all the obvious questions - but i have not bought a new car for the past 30 years.

Residuals are fixed. We haven't seen many examples of Honda dealers marking up the money factor (not even sure they are allowed).

EX-L RES 36/15K lease
Residual, MF for 1st & Fees and Sign and drive, and One Pay.
Also is there still the $1250 lease bonus.
Hoping end of QTR will produce some good deals.

Are these numbers worse than last month or am I missing something? I've been keeping an eye on the EXL w/res numbers for 3yr/15k and I thought the numbers would be better!

Residual is the same as last month, but the MF is slightly worse.

No rhyme or reason why this happens; perhaps Honda thinks the sales of the Odyssey are going well enough to merit a slight bump in the MF.

Didnt know until I got to dealership, new car Vin stamp door manufactured 12/2015.
Should this affect the overall price of car so far agreed at for 31,935? would this affect resale value of vehicle as a 2015 instead of 2016 after lease by a whole lot?

Plenty of 2016 models are manufactured in December 2015 (and earlier)

Question about using an out of state dealer, how are the taxes handled if we lease the car out of our home state??  Just wondering if this would be an option since we may be able to get a better deal that way. Thanks!

Thanks Kyfdx. We are going to focus on Indiana. Our inventory is quite low here so we may not get the deal we are hoping for which is why I thought a short road trip might be worthwhile. It seems the inventory in the other areas isn't any better so we are scraping that idea. We aren't in a hurry, so we will just have to take our time and keep working!
