Subtract 2% from SE numbers for EX-L w/ RES.

Subtract 2% for 15K per year.

Nothing historical that you can count on. Although, they seem to have really good lease deals on the outgoing models in August (though that won't help you).

Yes, though it may be possible the incentive is already built into the price quote.

I did the deal - I didn't pay for extra miles, new tires, or scratches on the body. The dealership bought the lease from the bank because it appraised (event with the mileage) significantly over the residual payoff + balance of 1 payment left.

Current programs expire on 1/3/17, though Honda reserves the right to update them.

There is no correlation between residual value and reliability.

Just numbers used by marketing and finance to help move the most inventory. Meant to be a best guess by them as to the expected value of the vehicle after "X" years and "Y" miles driven.

Unfortunately getting back in the car buying game. Wife just was in a terrible car accident with 2014 EX-L w/o NAV or RES. Thank goodness she's ok. We are almost at end of 36 mo lease with plans to get new model Ody but turns out we have a total loss so need to act more quickly.

I negotiated a purchase price of 29468 at the time of lease in June 2014 and I'm at 401/month lease with no money down at start.

Am I going to get anywhere near that with a 2016 EX-L w/o RES or nav? How much more am I looking at to move up to a touring or touring elite model?

other thoughts for biding time until the new body ody comes out?

$1250 lease cash.

You want to negotiate the price, just like you would if you were buying.

Your up front costs should be limited to the first payment and the DMV costs - everything else should be added to the lease payment.

Hi from Florida. Just got a 2016 EX-L 36mo/15k per year for adjusted cap cost of 32243 and residual 52% I think (19292 w/ MSRP 37100 including destination). Payments worked out to 380/month plus ~27 tax for a total of 407/month. I paid 407 today which covers the first month. I did not pay any additional down payment or dealer/tag fees. I realize its the end of the year and still the beginning of the month so probably the worst time to buy but we needed a car. wish I could have done better
