It is Pennsylvania, it's 8%. The $2000 covers first month payment and fees 

What is your term/mileage allowance?

PA charges an extra 3% tax on leases. So, if your local rate is 8%, it's 11% on a lease.

After talking to the dealer, I was quoted a $483/month for an AWD w/ Tech Package. (36/10)

MSRP: 41,845
Sale Price : 36,900
Taxes and Fees : Approximately $3,000 (Virginia) - It was the sales tax + fees (they did not break down for us)
MF : 0.00119
Residual: 58%
drive off: $1,483 ($1,000 downpay + 1st month)

I wasn't able to ask if the sales price included incentives. Do you think this was a good deal or could I get the sales price lower if I contacted another dealer? What should I am for as far a monthly payment that is realistic with a 1,000 downpay?

I get $424/mo with those numbers.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer; if higher than the selling price, find out what has been added.

And, get a full breakdown of the $3000 due up front.

GA taxes the full selling price of the vehicle, and collects it upfront. You may choose to add that amount to your CAP cost, so that it's included in the payments. It's a lot.

Just some info for everyone.  Got a quote from a local dealer on a 2017 AWD with tech package.  They said money factor was .00081 and residual value was 56% for July.  MSRP was 41,845 and selling price was 35,250.  He said the sales price included $4000 in incentives and the rest was discount off the MSRP. Payment is $411 per month including CA sales tax of 7.75%.  Annual mileage is 10,000.  Drive off cost are 1300 which does include about 400 in cap cost reduction.  Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Generally, no. But, ask the dealer. It's always possible that some accessories might be partially residualized.
