MF is the same, but the residual is different - Limited is 3% lower.

I'm looking at leasing an AWD XLE in NJ. leaning towards 36 months and 15k miles/ year. I'm wondering what the RV and MF should be. With the month ending is it likely that this info would be changing in May (for better or worse)?

.00190 and 68% for XLE AWD 36/15.

Residuals are valid until 7/5/16, and the MF is the standard rate from Toyota and is unlikely to change.

I leased an RX 350 this summer and get a great reduction on the MF using MSD. What would MSD do for the money factor on an XLE AWD? 36 mo.?

Not certain that Toyota offers MSD - we have no details on the program.

i have a lease with Lexus financial. Would i qualify for the Encore Program through Toyota Financial?

It seems they do have a MSD program. hopefully my salesman can fill me in.

I wouldn't ask the salesperson; the finance contact is probably better informed on the MSD program.

Not sure that the Toyota and Lexus programs are compatible.

In general, having leases with another arm of the same company doesn't seem to translate into any incentive programs (Lexus/Toyota, Nissan/Infiniti, Acura/Honda, etc).

Thanks for the link from TFS on MSDs. I'll guess that very, very few TFS customers use this program, and you might have to speak with the F&I manager to facilitate that. Even then, you might have to show him the link.

I was wanting to get the numbers for North Carolina (SET Toyota):
LE (4cyl) 36/12k & 15k
LE 36/12k & 15k
LE Plus 36/12k & 15k
XLE 36/12k & 15k

Also, I know the last day for the current offers for leasing end tomorrow. Would it be better to wait till the new numbers come out or try to cut a deal tomorrow with a dealer? One more thing, do you happen to have the MF for Tier1 instead of Tier1+?

36/15 residuals:
LE (4-cyl) - 67%
LE (V6) - 68%
LE Plus - 66%
XLE - 67%

.00190 MF for all trims

No information from Toyota on what the MF would be for Tier 1 vs. 1+

For Toyota, the residuals are valid until 7/5/16; MF expires today.

.00190 and 68% for 36 months, 15,000 miles per year.

On Saturday 04/30/2016 I finally pulled the trigger. Thanks to this forum I was prepared to bargain, look after and negotiate several aspects of the lease. Ended up with:
MSRP $43,550
Sale Price: $39,600 (Lowest price I got from 5 local dealers)
MF 0.0019 (This was one of the hot topics during negotiations as they were marking it up to 0.0024)
RV 66%.
I put $4k down to cover taxes (~$1K after considering the trade in), negative equity on previous car (~$1.5K), Acquisition Fee+Title+Registration (~$1K) and first payment (~$460)

Lease was ~430/mo for 36/12 contract.

Ended up including gap insurance and additional protection coverage pumping up the lease to ~$460/mo. Hope this helps to those Texans around!!!

FYI on the MSD, not sure but I think I read somewhere that you will lose it the same way that you will lose a down payment if you total the car or it's stolen. It doesn't make sense, as it's a deposit, but you may want to look into this.

Do you happen to know how often Toyota changes their residuals? I dont' remember where I read this on the Edmunds forums, but a moderator commented in a lease thread that X manufacturer only changes their residuals quarterly.

Also, typically what is the most that a residual drops from one month to the next, if it changes at all? I figure 1% at most..

MSD is not the same as a 'down payment' - you will get the MSD monies back at the end of the lease, regardless.

Toyota residuals change quarterly ... the current residuals are valid until 7/5/16.

Residuals can change quite a bit ... depends on what the brand is trying to do. For example, we saw a 3% increase in some BMW residuals for April, but they dropped their lease incentive cash to compensate.

And, you'll often see residuals and money factors move in the same direction - if one goes up/down, the other does as well.

Individual options do not affect the numbers.

I assumed AWD.

Numbers are the same for both states.

Not sure about the incentives crossing state borders. I would suggest talking to your dealer - I'm sure they get questions like this frequently.

I posted on the wrong board before. Didn't realize it was only for 2015.

Just leased a 2016 Gray Toyota Highlander LE Plus Monday 5/2/16 in Seattle, WA. Husband had 735 score and I had 733. $36,904 MSRP and we negotiated for $35,200 plus the $650 acq fee and 150 doc fee. Got back a money factor of .00265 and I said that was high for our credit scores and tried to negotiate but they wouldn't budge saying it was set. Residual was $25,464. I traded in my Toyota Corolla for $6000. $2638 went to payoff leaving $3362. $2785.83 was capitalized cost reduction, $353.17 first monthly payment,$223 license fees. I then have 16 payments at $353.17 and then 19 payments at $388.13. Tax here is 9.8%.

So I had two separate dealers give me really really low residual values here in North Carolina. 

One dealer have me a residual of 61% for an LE 4cyl model for 36/15k. Another dealer gave me a residual of 64% for a XLE 24/12k...64% only after 2yrs!?!?!? Both confirmed these "residual numbers are from Toyota."

Also, the Toyota dealership in Van Nuys said they don't do MSD's as this was only for those with bad credit. The sales person first didn't know so he asked his "Manager". The manager then told me that they didn't do that. I insisted and he went to go speak to someone else while I test drove the car. He then came back and said again that they don't do this. Interesting.

did you reference the link a few posts back? dealer i asked said they do it for Highlander and Tundras only. i had asked the nearby Lexus dealer as well and told me the same exact thing for an RX350 reduce by -.0008 per MSD.

We don't have a definitive answer .. I think it's more about dealer knowledge than anything else. If Keyes isn't interested in MSDs, there's about a bajillion Toyota dealers in LA or Ventura County - only takes one of them to understand what you want and make a deal on your terms.
