White over beige Cascada, top down. Wife said "what was that?" I told her new Buick convertible. She said, "wow what a chick car" lol.
Our realtor has one and it looks nice; white too, think the inside is black though. I bet she'll never put the top down, although she claims she's had it down a couple of times.
When the arroyos washed out in our area the other day, she had to get a ride home - between the 19" rubber band tires and the low clearance, she would have been clunking a lot of rocks in several spots (they get front end loaders out here after a big dump of rain to clear the "boulders" off the roads.
Within 2 minutes of each other: A lady in a black Q50, in the fast lane in stop and go traffic, paying more attention to her phone than the road. A Toyota Mirai fuel cell vehicle. I'm sure limited production volumes on that one. A new Prius
In general, Toyota's styling has gone exceptionally bizarre and not in a good way. In fact the Corolla and Camry seem to be their only normal looking vehicles. The Prius tailights and "wing" are hideous. I also think the taillights on the new Civic are atrocious. For me, Mazda's vehicles are the best looking of the Japanese crowd.
Heck, I'm not sure there was ever a really good looking Camry, but hose older ones lasted and lasted. In fact, you'd see the vintage you mentioned in station wagons as taxi's at Reagan National Airport for many years afterwards. Those and RWD Buick Roadmasters.
Saw a Bentley Bentayga out this morning. From a distance I thought it was an X5, but as I approached, I noticed it was maybe slightly bigger and insanely more expensive. Somewhat erratically driven, as expected from a car of that stature in this part of the world. No doubt a nice reward for laundering money in real estate or working to get that sketchy factory open in a distant land or other bootstrappy pursuits
Hmm... happened to drive past the local Honda dealer today. The front of their lot is absolutely awash in new Civic coupes. Most were in grey or black, but they had a few Lime Freeze models there. Color didn't seem quite as retina-searing as the shade in the photo. Still not great though.
Spent some time at a traffic light today behind a new civic sedan in dark grey with the lip spoiler. Man, that thing is ugly from the rear. I could not even begin to count the number of angles and surfaces.

I agree; Honda's never been great at styling but they've jumped the shark with the new Civic. Only surpassed by the new Prius. So we're in the era of hideous angled taillights...a look that IMHO won't age well at all.

The more I look at the new Civic, the less I like it.
For some reason, I'm really digging the classic lines of my new Jetta sedan. Simple, with plenty of headroom and good sightlines. Even better than the Elantra GT I just got rid of.
I fear that in 3 years when my lease is up, my choices for something similar will be even more limited.
Oddly enough, I saw not 1 but 2 Slingshots this weekend. A red and a black. I wonder if a helmet is required with that. It is classified as a motorcycle, after all, right? Guy in the black one had no helmet.

So, I would imagine that the helmet requirement would be based on the state you live in.
I checked randomly and most states seem to classify it as a motorcycle. Then I went to Nevada, the "do whatever you want state", and sure enough, it's not a motorcycle anymore.
I've seen a couple Lexus GS-F lately. Like a normal GS, but styling applied with a wider trowel. In a way it seems silly, as an M5 or E63 is in a different galaxy, but mild sport tuned models like E43 are coming, and S6 already exists - might be a market for it I guess.
we walk at a local park most nights, and yesterday, we got there as people were arriving for a softball game. Not sure where they came from, but must have had some money. a nice assortment of BMWs and audis, and a few other cars I would like. But the cream of the crop was a nice white Maserati convertible. that I could live with.
For what looks like 15-20K in charges, it ought to be pretty well done. I suppose that's different than having it made at the local mom and pop bodyshop.
Too bad there isn't a huge fleet of them, they'd probably have demand in the used commercial vehicle market for years to come.
The concept of the Dominos DXP reminds me of the Chevy 210 business coupe back in 1957. One showed up at local shows fairly often. Very practical for business to modify that empty back seat area.
Saw an F-pace with temp tag pulling into my office complex earlier today. It was not as ... stand-outish as I thought it would be. And that back window, especially with the rear spoiler in place, is tiny.

I think it looks really sharp, without being bizarre. Probably true about the back window, that seems to be the trend these days, even with "practical" vehicles.

I am surprised it would be expensive, fleet price of a basic automatic (I assume) Spark has to be like 10-11K. Oh, but they are. Kinda expensive, I've heard - something like $25-30K per. Expensive investment by the franchise owner.
Pretty well modified. Only one seat and a gigantic warming oven in the back.
IIRC, they are modified by ASC in Michigan.
