My eight year old TSX displays individual pressures for each tire, and they're remarkably similar to what I see when I check them and/or add air using a stand-alone pressure gauge.

Yeah.. every time it gets sub-10F, our X3 TPMS gets wonky.

Yes GM still does it, my 15 Enclave shows all pressures. Hyundai jumped to that too the 17 Elantra does as well, but my 09 Genesis did not.

Same with our T&C, the CTS, and even my '04 350z. The Infiniti just has a dummy light. Go figure.

    browsing time.

this is what I have in my head at this point. Something around this age/miles/price and functionality. Seems like a decent deal?

looks nice. I assume they got you out of your van lease for at least nothing? So turn it in and walk away? If so, might as well do it now since you are paying on something either way.

Equinox of that generation has a very high curb weight and is a dog with the four-cylinder. It's otherwise a decent vehicle. The 3.6 liter V6 in the later models should provide very good power.

And, breld, seriously? Year and mileage, please. Is it a Hemi? Did the dealer step up on the Sedona?

    2014 SXT (just the V6 - sorry!)
    20k miles
As optioned up as an SXT can be - heated seats, heated steering wheel, power seats, backup camera, parking assist, captains chairs in the 2nd row, and the Rallye appearance package.

Still has 10 months of bumper to bumper, so I like that.  Let's be real, that's my ownership period.

They came down to $23,600 on the Dodge (Q estimated they had $22k to $22.5k in it) and came up to $23,000 on the Kia (Q hit it at $22k trade).  Couldn't pass it up!

Trade is $1,400 less than the lease buyout, with 11 payments left, so was also pleased with that.  I would've owed at least that in mileage and disposition fee at the end of the year.

Congrats. My cousin in law (cousin's husband) bought one like that a few years ago, and he let me drive it. Surprisingly easy and smooth for something of that physical mass. It was also a V6.

@nyccarguy - yup, the rallye package and the captains chairs in the second row are rarer options, particularly on an SXT, so that had a lot to do with deciding to pull the trigger on this one.

there is a small dent on the front of the hood that I may or may not get repaired.  Doesn't bother me and I'm sure that contributed to the good deal.

Hmmm. another contender in my "find a box for not too much money that still has lots of goodies on it" contest. I really, really like this one. Almost bought one new, but never made sense $ and size wise at the times I was looking. Maybe slightly high, but miles are not too bad for a 2005. but what do I know? Could spend 1K more for a 5 MY newer Mariner 4 banger!

I received the appointment reminder for my TDI buyback in my email today. So I dropped by the Honda dealer this evening, and checked out a 2017 Accord EX-L with the V6. They have added some head room since the last time I sat in an Accord, or more realistically, I think they made the seat capable of going lower. Either way, I had enough headroom, even with the sunroof.

I liked the seat, I liked the engine, I enjoyed the short test drive. Biggest negative for me was the secondary screen (for the rear view camera), which is buried high in the dash under a big overhang. It really seemed too far away, and almost hidden.

I didn't get a chance to play with the stereo, but I did notice the lack of a rotary volume control, and remember hearing others complain about that. I would like to rent one of these for a long weekend, give it a real try out.

Reminded me of the old Mazda commercials: Zoom Zoom! It was fun to drive, not as much fun as a 5.0 Genesis or a Mustang GT, but definitely fun.

@breld, nice looking Durango! My FIL has a '15 RT in black and loves it. He added a Corsa cat back exhaust and the Hemi sounds terrific with it. I really enjoy driving this beast.

Funny story how he ended up with it and what he uses it for. My in laws escape Houston every year for several months in Breckenridge, CO. He had an RV for years and would tow his Wrangler Renegade behind it. This past year, he decided to sell the RV and buy a chalet in the same park. Only problem is he still likes to go off roading (even at 77!) in the Renegade but my MIL hates riding in it. So he traded her Lexus since she is no longer driving and now he tows a jacked up black Renegade behind his lowered black Durango RT and this way he has both of his toys at his disposal. Looks very unique going down the road. Hell, you Denver guys should keep an eye out for this combo come summer. I doubt you'd ever see anything like it again.

I had an '07 Highlander much like that one and thought it was a pretty great car. I ended up trading it in on a new CX-9 and barely lost any value on the Toyota - that's definitely a plus for the brand.

While looking she found an '03 Highlander Limited in medium blue, fully loaded, one owner, full service history including recent brakes, tires, timing belt, all done by the Toyota dealer. Aliotto's on Fisherman's Wharf in SF. In wine country (Napa) my favorite winery is St Suprey, actually owned by Chanel. If you get the chance, go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It's funded, at least in part, by the David Packard (HP) family. It's in Cannery Row, which has its own unique history worth seeing. Sounds like you have the rest covered.

There are so many great SF restaurants! I use Yelp to find new ones to try whenever we go. Asian and Italian cuisines are what SF is known for. Last time we were there we had a great meal at the Franciscan Crab, also on the wharf. Great views of the harbor.
Take a trip out to Alcatraz. It's a beautiful boat ride and the tours of the old prison are really interesting.
You won't need a car as Uber is very good there.

Renting in Downtown Denver? Well...may I suggest one of my company's fine examples:

    SkyHouse Denver

Or, if you like baseball, right across the street from the ballpark:

    Battery on Blake Street

And another option in a developing part of downtown:

I was at the Honda dealer last night, test drove a new 2017 Accord EX-L V6. I took advantage of the opportunity to try sitting in a new Ridgeline that was on the showroom floor. The center console is bigger (wider) than the driver's seat, something I absolutely detest. What kind of idiot designer would do that? Makes the vehicle seem claustrophobic. But I'm seeing it on more and more new cars.
