Well, now I feel the outcast! Most of my vehicles didn't come from a dealership when I purchased them. I'll see if I can remember where they did come from, though.....
Carter Subaru - Shoreline, WA (this is my only dealer purchase in current lineup) ------ I think my '08 Forester came from Auto Service Company (now Kendall), Fairbanks, AK; I bought from second owner via PP. C20 came from Beyerl Chevrolet - somewhere in Pennsylvania. I bought from original owner in 1997 via PP. E100 sorta came from an LA area dealer, at least the part my father bought new in 1971. He gave it to me in 1991. F250 was bought new from Worthington Ford (now Kendall as well), though this was 11/1975, so I think the Anchorage Ford dealer was not even purchased by Worthington at that point. My grandfather gave the truck to me in 2007.

The dealer in PA is Baierl Chevrolet - just outside Pittsburgh. I only know them because they were a named sponsor for a period of the Peterson Events Center on Pitt's Campus.

My two are easy, both purchased within the last 6 days!
Greenway Mazda, Houston -- used 2016 Chrysler Town and Country
Momentum Volkswagen, Houston -- new 2017 Passat R-Line
I can give a solid thumbs up to Momentum Volkswagen, and the salesman I dealt with. Friendly, courteous, knew the car, honored the online advertised price, gave me exactly the amount for my trade that @qbrozen said I should get.
Greenway Mazda, not so much. The sales process was all right, a lot of back and forth, but all right. After the sale, not so much. The salesman could not find the second key for the T&C, said he would find it on Monday and call me. He never called, so I called him on Monday afternoon. "I'm going to go look for that right now and call you back."
Wednesday morning, I called the dealership, asked for the GM, and left a message on his voice mail. 10 minutes later the salesman finally calls me back and says they don't have a second key. I don't think I'll be recommending them.

They should pay for a second key and programming it. You will get dinged when you trade it in if you don't have it.

I agree that I need a second key, but I'm not going to squabble with them. Pointless exercise, very unlikely to win, and just not worth the hassle. I found an OEM key from highly rated seller on ebay for $39 shipped, and have it coming my way. Reading in the Chrysler minivan forums, I can expect to pay $50 to $75 to a dealer to program it.
It's interesting, the conventional wisdom seems to be to go to a locksmith instead of the dealer. I tried 3 locksmiths here in Houston. The first would not give me a price until he came out, and that would cost me $20. The second wanted $190, and the third said it would be $240 to $280, depending.

Okay, so here's a funny search that I may be helping with for one of my wife's friends.
She currently drives a bright yellow PT Cruiser, and she's finally ready to move on.
So, here are the requirements:
Yellow exterior (or maybe another bright color)
Heated seats
AWD
Around $20k
That's it.
Quick look on cars.com:
Jeep Renegade
Fiat 500x
Nissan Juke
Mini Countryman
Subaru Crosstrek (if orange is acceptable)
I'll likely question the need for AWD, since that opens up possibilities like the Kia Soul and Honda Fit.
Soul was the first one that popped into my head.
2025 Jetta GLI Autobahn, 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xE
I always liked these from a functional standpoint. Perfect combo of size, utility and driving experience. This one is pretty, miles low, but no way am I going near a 15 YO VW, certainly not a complicated one like this. Too bad there are not many newer alternatives with the same practicality.
my usual trolling of cheap utility. Found this one. Miles a bit high, but sounds maintained, and looks good. Knock some $$ off and in the $2K range, could do worse for an around town mule! Plus I always liked these.
