Man though, that baby is loaded. Did not miss checking many boxes.

I might be able to overlook color combo for this one. Still too steep though. Due for another big drop soon.

Back on topic. Anybody in the market for a pretty much loaded up Black/Black 2014 335xi with a 6-Speed Stick? 22K Miles. $37,598 asking price. This was a $60K car just 3 years ago.

    http://cpo.bmwusa.com/certified/BMW/2014-BMW-335i+xDrive+Sedan-af338a620a0e0a1725c5dc925a6f57c2.htm?geoZip=06902

price is crazy. $27-$28k at the block, and as we know, it has the stick, which is "unwanted" at trade time. $30k is retail, pushing toward maybe $32k if the CPO is your thing.

428 just had a $9k price drop according to the ad!

Makes that blue 328GT I found yesterday for 25k look pretty good.

The GM is gone this week and the Floor Manager was looking at some BMW company cars that were available to buy for our CPO inventory. He found a 2,000 mile 2017 340i M Sport with a manual and literally every option box checked- including the Track Handling Package(M fixed caliper brakes, Adaptive M Suspension, and Variable Sport Steering), It is Estoril Blue with Coral Red leather- a "Superman" car. The GM will have a stroke when it arrives- he prefers more sedated color combos. I like it, and have to say I'm a bit tempted. This isn't the car, but it is the identical color combination:

In the picture on my screen the color combo doesn't look good. But to an enthusiast with all those sport options, does the match/constrast of the exterior and interior have a real impact on price?

    a "Superman" car.

Does the stark contrast actually match the sportiness in the buyer's mind?

I like red interiors, but coral is a little much, especially with Estoril.

That said, I wouldn't kick it out of my driveway.

I do find the color combination a bit sharp, perhaps a navy metallic would look better with the red interior?

My 2011 335xi was the LeMans Blue with the chestnut interior, so a darker blue and a more subdued reddish interior. I wouldn't have ordered the combination myself, but once I had it (purchased used) I really liked it.

Hmmm...pulling up those pictures now makes me miss it. My heart hurts a little.

As quickly as you cycle through cars, you cannot afford to get attached to them!

Or, maybe you *could*, but only if you buy a fairly large warehouse in which to store them all.

$13k-$14k is dealer auction for a 1-owner automatic. 3 previous owners and manual trans? Gotta be $12k, tops. $15k private party would be the end of the line, IMHO.

I like that 335xi, beautiful vehicle. Did sit in a 2013 135i at a Nissan dealership this morning. Was drooling over it and they were asking $27 and change. Think the mileage was at around 30K but gorgeous. White over beige, just what I love as we hate black over black down south here, just plain too hot. The sales guy came running over and tried to get me to take it for a spin but I was working. Anyhow, have tried 3 times to get a white 128i coupe and failed each time. The first time was back in late 2013, it was in the BMW showroom with a dead battery. The sales guy was so embarrassed but they let me walk away. It was just perfect for me to, saw it the same day I test drove that black over beige 325ic convertible in West Palm. Wanted it as a toy but the wife was opposed so stopped by the local store and found the white one.
Did all those 128i coupes only come with a 6 under the hood? The one I drove a few months back seemed heavy for such a small vehicle, it felt cumbersome driving it on the test drive, just didn't feel right. No get up and go like my Golf has. Gorgeous vehicle but felt held back with the 6, a turbo 4 would've been over the top! Man, I really really wanted that baby to.

the 1 series was all 6 cyls I believe. Considering the way less than stellar gas mileage on the 35s, and using premium, I doubt you would be too happy with that. Certainly fast though. But not the hatch you like or at all practical.

From what I've been reading, not sure another Golf is in my future. Wonder if they'll even have a new one in a few years. It might be a wise move to just take the wife's A3 and be done with it. One thing I do know, I will need a sunroof in whatever I do get as I am hooked. I use mine now every day on the way to and from work and it's a blast. That's why I'm also thinking Mini Cooper for it's size. The two door I sat in yesterday was a bit low and the back seats were a joke because not many could sit back there for a long time. I did like the funky interior controls and could get used to it. The size was just perfect to. A four door would be more practical, a Countryman would work nicely. A white over gray would definitely work. Just concerned it wouldn't drive as nicely as my Golf does, as it's a real pleasure. No matter how many vehicles I drive at work, I get into mine and I smile, just smile and am so happy it's all mine! All paid for...and all mine.

    The Sandman :)B)

(So far, the run flats feel great. Held the road without any slippage with the rain I drove through yesterday morning. No lights came on from the stability control, just dug in and drove smoothly even around those entrance and exits on the expressway. Totally composed with no drama. They were a bit on the expensive side but so far, worth every penny.)

I test drove one that was white over coral, a slushbox, but stunning!
Don't talk about identity theft, one guy got a copy of my license and stole $6k in Jacksonville over two days! Then a guy in Miami got my checking in December for $1500. Both used my old drivers license number. Needless to say, our bank said we should close the accounts and find another bank as we are a target at theirs. Crazy [non-permissible content removed] going on. Our new bank requires a facial confirmation that matches both of us so think our issues will be over. But feel victimized. Back in 2014, someone up north used my charge card to buy stuff though I disputed those to. It's a nasty world out there folks!

The one dealer here that sells them had a half-dozen of those late last summer/fall. Most were $75,000 Cdn., but there were a couple that were pushing $100k because of some option package whose name I forget.

EDIT: I just looked and they still have them, in storage. Brand new for $75K to $77K Canadian. In real money that's about the same as that one. MacPhee Ford in Dartmouth, NS is the dealer.

My father was a mail carrier in Grand Junction when I was a kid. I walked part of his route with him several times and watched him put up the mail the day before a few times too -- fond memories. In spite of the inefficiencies and all the rest, the USPS gets cut plenty of slack in our house. Stamps were 3 cents in those days, by the way.

About ebay....I don't sell a lot, but some....mostly audio equipment that I can't use anymore, or tech that I either don't, or can't use.

Used to be a better place. If you sold and shipped, were honest, and helpful, you'd get a good rating. Now, people can't even take the time to offer a rating (really the lifeblood to tell those buying from you, and selling to you, if you'r a good buyer/seller). I've probably bought/sold 350 times on ebay. Because most are too lazy to offer a rating, I have less than 50 ratings.

It used to be mortal sin to buy something on ebay and not pay for it. Happened to me twice in December alone. You would get a negative rating which would pull down your overall rating. You can't even do that, now. Sold some stuff around the Holidays, a Kitchen Aid mixer I don't use anymore and a high end digital camera.....several hundred dollars for each. Winner of each of those auctions didn't pay, didn't communicate why they didn't pay, didn't respond over repeated requests to pay.

Ebay's response? Wait a couple of days. If no payment comes, we'll tell the buyer not to do that anymore. I couldn't even leave negative comments.

    .
I've had similar experiences with E-Bay. Used to use it quite a bit in the early 2000's, but as of lately, not even once a year. Had 2 non-paying bidders in a row last year that turned me off completely. I knew the problem of non-paying bidders had run rampant. All you could do was report it. Why waste time selling stuff to non-paying shills?

Oh my goodness I want this. Not exactly a "used" price though. Not yet anyway.

I love the interior details on that Mustang. The back seats alone are just impressively designed! That color, though.... so blah. A car like that needs to have presence, and I feel like the color is working against the car's form.

That's sort of traditional American racing colors although I think there should also be a small black stripe for Fords.

huh. Driver's bolster seems to have a fair bit of wear for only 4k miles.

Carfax says 3,576 miles. Car bought in FLA, now apparently in GA?

This is a pretty color combo. Old school straight 6. I'm terrible at pricing, but with the low miles, could probably do worse for the money. Not that I would pay this much.
